Italian is my mother tongue, I graduated few months ago in Rome in "English and German Language and Literature". I am currently a PhD student at Queen's. I love languages and I think a targeted method depending on the level and the age of students is the best way to learn a language.
I describe my way of teaching fun and interactive. I love using videos, pictures and songs to teach since they tend to keep the students involved in the lessons. Also, I like having small tests after lesson to ensure that the students got what I taught.
I used to give english lessons to italian children and mid-ages from primary and secondary school. Since i moved to London 9 years ago, i've done tutoring to English people about Italian Language, traditions, cooking ( i come from Naples, the city of Pizza, of great food and amazing wine ) ecc.

A dedicated, reliable and experienced foreign languages tutor. Fluent in Italian – her native language-, English and French with a passion for teaching people of all ages. In addition to theory and exercises, I make learning more interactive by using games, roleplay and videos to develop creativity and make the lessons more memorable.
I can teach any level of italian since I am a native speaker. I try to make class the more interactive possible. I also vary often the studied themes going from conjugation to vocabulary or grammar so people would have a thorough and complete knowledge of the language.
I'm graduated in Clinical Psychology in Italy and I'm doing my internship post-degree in Belfast. The focus of my teaching method is based on simplicity: the stranger can improve the language step by step, in a clear and defined way.
My teaching method is to frequently speak to the class the language students will be learning so when the grammar part of the prospectus is going to be taught, students will have reduced difficulties into recognising the words due to usually hearing them.
I base my classes according to the level. I would usually follow a guide but I am up for any preferences or request you might have.
I always try to adjust my teaching methodology with the people that I am teaching to. The best thing to do is starting from some vocabulary and to learn how to create a good sentence for every occasion (starting with some grammar basics). Then I think that doing real conversation and listening is one of the most important things to do to understand and really be able to manage with this language.
I am very creative and my friends describe me as a funny but also professional person. I will make sure to listen to my students' needs and to help them build confidence when it comes to writing and speaking Italian. I will have a chat with the students first to see which level they are at and I will develop my lessons accordingly.
I tutor italian to any level learner, working from what they might already know. For Basic tutoring we work by building a vocabulary and then elaborating upon the vocabulary to reach sentence forming and basic conversation. For conversational tutoring I would start from current affairs, news articles, or the interests of the student.
I have been tutoring for over 8 years both in Italy and Uk, both with children and adults from all levels. I know the uniqueness of each student and this is important to me to understand their individual needs. I always try to do my best in my lessons. Because every student is unique I like to use different kinds of material for preparing lessons.
My lessons are fully based on the student's needs and level, motivation is also taken in consideration. I want the learning process to be active, the student will actively partecipate in my lessons. I usually prefer to have a chat (even via phone) with the student at the beginning to ask for details and have a bit of information to start with.
Usually, I have my classes on Skype because by doing it we can have a flexible schedule and it is also more stimulating. For our classes, I always use PDF documents that I personally make and write, based on different topics and/or grammar. This will save money on books! Nevertheless, I can also meet in person for one-to-one lesson.
My previous experiences as a language and academic tutor have consolidated my beliefs on of the importance of teaching through the use of innovative, dynamic and fun methods.
I use to teach grammar through the communcation, but if you need something more specific I will be happy to help you. I love to spread my language (latin and greek as well, roots of my language) and my culture all around the world, learning a language it means opening a world.
My teaching method is determined partly on subject matter to be taught and partly by the nature of the learner.
As I have personally experiences, through my year abroad in the USA, the best way to learn a language is through extensive communication to establish a strong vocabulary. Instead of memorising rules and grammar I base my classes on understanding and visualising patterns.
I present language in a variety of ways using flashcards, powerpoint slides, realia and youtube clips on occasion. I model language carefully then use repetition, engage learners in dialogues and role plays and check comprehension with listening tasks followed by development of reading/writing skills.
My teaching approach is mostly based on conversation, but I will provide help with grammar and vocabulary as well. Speaking/Listening will be practised during the lesson; writing and reading will be better practised through homework. Being an online lesson the methodology is different from the one I would use in a proper classroom.
My lessons are student-centered and aimed to meet their learning needs. Lessons are supported with past papers and extra materials, aimed to cover all the areas students may need to practice on and/or revise. My methodology adapts according to each student's school syllabus and curriculum to prepare them the best way possible for their subject.
My classes change a lot based on the level and the needs of each students. I definetely speak loads during my classes because I really think listening to the language and then responding is the best way to learn it.
I base my classes on simple basic words and then I move onto the main things on italian such as past tense, present tense and future tense, trust me,it will not take a long time to learn Italian if your mind is in it.
