My teaching method is very friendly. I think it works best if the student chooses a topic they are struggling with, then we go through it and then do some questions on it. As a Primary Specialist I have indepth knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum. I am happy to provide tailored tutoring to KS1 and KS2 children including SATs practice. I have strong maths knowledge and can tutor up to GCSE level. My lessons use a range of concrete, pictorial and abstract representations to support full understanding of a range of mathematical concepts.

I specialise in advising on how students can get from a B/C to an A in order to apply to top University courses. It is hard work for both of us but I am able to support and motivate students. I am also very familiar with the questions that students have not asked and are often too nervous to ask in class for fear of appearing stupid. Most students in every maths class think the same.

I graduated from the University of Bristol with a first class master in chemistry this July. I spent the third year if my studies in France where all my exams, lectures and labs were in French. I have therefore obtained a professional level of French. I tutor chemistry from primary level to undergraduate. I tutor maths until A-Level and French until GCSE.

I understand how sometimes teachers and experts in the field use methods that make the subject difficult and so I offer a much more relatable way of learning and overcoming problems. I have only recently been through the course and so my knowledge is fresh but also deep.
I like to teach what I'm sure I know, so although I have A-level knowledge of chemistry and maths, I only feel comfortable teaching up to GCSE level because I'm confident that I'll have all of the answers. I am in the final year of my BSc Hons mathematics degree at the Open University.
