I can offer help most definitely in GCSE or A-Level subjects involving mathematics/physics. The types of subjects I can offer help on tend to be tedious and can be seen to robotic when trying to revise due the nature of mathematical subjects.
I believe exam technique is an important initial method to learning maths. My lessons therefore focus on examples with summaries of the theory behind each topic to help bind mathematical ability and create links between the different areas. This way, you develop the essential skills whilst being able to appreciate the subject fully.
I begin by seeking to identify where my students' strengths and weaknesses lie, either by an initial or an early assessment. This is crucial. Individual lessons are largely about mastering the mathematical topics that a student has not yet, or has only partially, grasped. This is achieved by lots of practice exercises and, where necessary, by exposition from me.
I teach students till 10th level. I just introduce the basic idea about the topic first and then going into details. As a tutor I would like to help the students in their studies in a friendly manner. They can ask any doubts.I will try to help them my level best.

I am a Year 9 at Westcliff Grammar school and is looking to help primary level students struggling at maths. I have never given official lessons but I have mentored at my school.
I apply the accelerated learning model to my teaching. This deploys many techniques: student as expert; games; debating, role play and so on. My style will differ from student to student and subject to subject. I carefully plan my teaching to maximise learning.
I approach each topic with an aim to understand the initial level of understanding and to patiently build upon this using techniques such as analogies, practice questions and thought-provoking conversation. I aim to tailor my teaching to each individual student and provide them with several methods for understanding a topic.
I believe that the two most effective methods of learning are through clear explanation, and question practice. During question practice, I will go through the questions together initially in order for to teach the understanding of how to answer questions in the appropriate manner.
Hello, my name is Bowen and I’m a first year Natural Sciences student at Cambridge. For my A-Levels I did Edexcel Maths and Further Maths, OCR A Chemistry and OCR B Physics.
