I find out which topics needs most attention to at first then I help the student tackle the topic by starting to build their understanding on the basics and then slowly advancing onto more difficult questions.
My teaching style is continuous assessment and support, going through difficult topics one by on.
First and foremost I analyse each students' strengths and weaknesses. Secondly, how much desire do they have to succeed in their particular subject. Thirdly, I have an agreement between us to strictly follow a goal and a minute by minute plan for maximum output to success.
I am a friendly, patient and understanding tutor who is looking to give lessons to motivated GCSE and A level students, who want to achieve the very best results that they can.
Previous to the lessons, I ask the students whether they would like me to cover certain topics which they find challenging or just teach something relevant to their level. I can teach on a one to one basis or to groups, explaining the topic and going through example questions so the student understands what is being taught.
Through the years working with tutoring companies the one thing which stood out for me is the lack of addressing the students needs. My teaching methodology is tailoring my resources to each of the students needs to ensure that their strengths and weaknesses are specifically addressed.
My teaching method is to use past papers and assesments to see where they are at in terms of progress then i see their weaknesses and find the easiest way that the child will understand so that i can use that to teach the child.
My teaching method is to understand where the student is at first and what their goals are. Then we can plan how to approach the teaching. My aim is less teaching and more practise. I like to use past question and explore the ways we answer exam questions. I like to adopt a practical way of teaching rather than a more traditional teaching method of lecturing.
Any topics related your doubts I can teach you....... But you should practice regularly whatever I will teach you in class....So It will be helpfull for you all ..... Maths is one subject which is completely depands on your own practice .......
I will be teaching my students in an interactive way. They will be also given questions afterwards on the topics they have learnt in the lesson.
I approach each topic carefully ensuring the students will understand completely, then move onto more challenging questions and exam practice, to ensure no question can throw the students off the ball. I feel exam practice is key for a good score in any exam at any level.
I have been giving lessons to a secondary school student via Skype, I am delighted to continue giving lessons from home via Skype or meet personally somewhere in London. My lessons are based on my students, as I do not intend to do extra specific preparations but solve problems and point out weak spots together.
My teaching method is learning what the student's level is in the subject and topic by doing an overview of the basic first. Then I proceed to expand on it and do multiple questions on a given topic they struggle on so that the student feels comfortable with it after. I then go by the specification and do everything else following the same routine.
Online tutoring connect students with tutors anywhere in the world over the internet. Sessions are carried out in real time, and there are a variety of tools available to support the teaching and learning experience. So how do you get going? You just need a computer linked to the internet, and a good broadband connection. A computer with microphones and webcam..
I first access the student to check his overall level in the topic. I follow the curriculum of the student while working on any issues detected during the accessment. When I feel that the student is more confident and has gained some edges, I will move tower higher level in the topics.
My teaching method is very patient and slow so the student can understand how to do questions on the topic easily. I will use a lesson plan which will help the student and i have a structure of what i am teaching and they are learning. I will also encourage homework so that the student does not forget how to do questions and will go in their long term memory.
Using systematic methods to approach various questions. Aid students to notice different problems that can easily be solved once noticed. Easy to read revision material to understand methodologies off by heart. Identify areas that need most attention to. Looking at past exam papers, seeing the questions (identifying a pattern).
My teaching method is to learn each new topic and use the most effective tool of all to perfect mathematical skills. Past papers and questions . Working through past papers will allow students to learn how to approach each question in the exam.
I approach each topic by demonstrating the method which is compatible with the students understanding, followed by examples which vary from relatively easy to more challenging style questions. The knowledge is then re-enforced through practicing all past papers available regularly.
We can base our classes based on your lesson on your school so that we can be sure to put it in practice. On this way, we can see the result of our classes based on your performance on your own school.
My teaching method is memorizing and mind maps, first i take an assessment of your child to see where they struggle, then looking at each topic i use practice questions to allow them to gain confidence in that area, once finishing a topic i will give them another test to allow them to see their improvement and boost their confidence
My teaching method focuses on the student. I try to understand the strong and weak parts and then make amendments in my teaching. I prefer a friendly way of teaching . I prefer making concepts clear in a practical way rather than theories.
I teach students up to GCSEs and the methods I use vary from student to student. My usual approach is to first allow the child to understand the fundamental concepts of Mathematics and then near exam time I make sure the child is able to answer any style of question.
My teaching method is focusing directly on the main points of the lesson, which helps to connect the students quickly with the course, understanding the difficult points, and practicing on the important sections of the courses. Students achieve the best results with a Face-to face meeting .
My teaching method starts with gaining a good understanding of where the student is currently and his/her strengths/weaknesses in the subject taught. I like to determine whether current difficulties are based on a lack of knowledge in particular areas or confusion and misunderstanding of the processes involved.
I believe that mathematical dexterity can be achieved through knowing the reasons for why something works mathematically. Forcing students to simply accept that something is true is not good enough as it requires students to just memorise processes. Maths is not a subject that requires much memorisation; it requires logic and a patient understanding.
Demonstrating is the process of teaching through examples or experiments. For example, a science teacher may teach an idea by performing an experiment for students. A demonstration may be used to prove a fact through a combination of visual evidence and associated reasoning.
base my lesson plan on uk curriculum.
I have developed specific teaching methods for each topic within each subject. Being young allows me to communicate with my students well whilst still having vast experience in doing what I do. These methods have been created through past experience and these methods will be modified as my career builds.
