My teaching methods are individually designed for each student or group of students. I have a extensive understanding of the mathematical concepts in GCSE and A-level mathematics and a strong ability to convey this to the student.
My method of teaching is dependent on the student I am tutoring. Initially, I would provide the students with a test to identify their current level, then cover each topic the student struggles with whilst continuously testing the topics they understand in order to strengthen their knowledge of it. Regular testing will ensure progress can be tracked.
My teaching is going topic by topic, focusing first on the students weaker topics, giving clear methods (with the simplest route to the answer and layout for maximizing marks) for common styles of questions that are likely to appear in an exam along with explanations that provide understanding of why the method works and the aim/outcome of the method.
My classes are individual based. It will be tailored according to the needs and learning style of the tutee. They will be interactive and challenging. Most importantly, there will be constant reflection of the gaps in knowledge/exam technique of the tutee through means of short tests.
Lessons are for A-level students taking core 1-4 classes and Statistics 1 classes I approach each topic with a step by step into the basics of the topic then go into the different kinds of questions which are asked by the test papers
I base my lessons on providing specific help that the student needs. I will work through exam-style questions regarding the topics/areas that need work and will ensure teaching of the basic methodology of the topic is covered so the student is confident.
I can offer maths lessons to GCSE students as a I received an A at that level and AS Level Maths students as I received a B at that level. In terms of teaching English, I can teach all levels as I am a native English speaker.
I approach each student individually and base my teaching off of their own personal needs, the pace of the lesson would depend on the student as I would focus on a topic until I would be certain the student has understood, I would quiz the student to test their knowledge on topics that have been taught.
I like to use visualisation of concepts where possible and try to simplify my explanations for easier understanding. I use well structured PowerPoint presentations. I always start from the basic of a topic and build up to ensure full coverage of the topic.
I like to follow the specification so that you know exactly what you need to know, answering any questions that arise from this. I'd also teach exam techniques and methods (from experience) as these are the main struggles for exams.
I prefer to go topic by topic, give loads of worksheets so that an individual has done enough practice. After this take a topic test to see whether my teaching has been effective.
I teach according to the need to individuals need with lots of practical session and relating to surrounding environments of Human life. Hence, it becomes part of life and student remembers it rather than becoming stress for memorising the subjects.
I will make you understand from the basics. Fast way but I will definitely allow you to ask till you understand.
First Lesson will be a free Assessment. Second lesson we will go through the marked work and address where the strengths and weaknesses are. Third lesson onwards we will be working on those weaknesses and going through real exam questions as practice for each topic. Please note the maths tuition will only be available to foundation tier students. - 100% Guarantee Grade 5.
I run through the curriculum to identify gaps in knowledge, then create exercises to help the base understanding of the problem and how to go about solving it. If a problem arises during solo study, particularly the tricky questions at the end of the paper, I'm on call to help.
If you are having trouble with homework or class work, have the work ready and I will go through it with you. I normally like to go through questions in time conditions depending on how many marks are given as it is good practice for the real exam.
I like to first let the student have an attempt at the question. I’ll see how much they are first able to do and where they’re stuck is where I’ll come in and help them. If it’s a completely new topic they haven’t done before I’ll walk through with them explaining everything they need to know on that topic.
I approach each topic individually step by step with clarity and patience. With help of diagrams and self-made projects. I can teach in English & Romanian.
Is your child struggling with maths and/or English at school? Do you find that the days are just not long enough to schedule enough time to support your child? Whether it's for the 11-plus exams, GCSEs or just to catch up at school, I can help.
My teacher methods involve learning individual topics in small bitesize pieces in a creative way, whether that be through songs, images, flashcards or A4 sheets. Students will then apply the knowledge learned to practice questions in order to understand how to answer exam questions.
I strongly believe in learning through practice especially past exams, so encourage as much practice as possible in the areas of doubt that individual may have. Young children often learn through fun, interactive practices, so I can cater to this.
My basic approach is to impart a concept based learning by placing examples from day to day life. I particularly lay more focus on building the fundamentals of the students and then grow them on a regular basis. This helps in long retention of the knowledge and most important - the students start liking the subject.
