My style of coaching is pretty much hands-on ensuring that basic concepts are fully understood before doing plenty of practice using past papers and appropriate mark schemes. This is of course done taking into account of the students needs and focusing on the areas they may find challenging.
I am An A-Level Mathematics Student. I tutor Maths for all years up to Year 10. Every Tutor sessions I make sure that the student understands everything, and I set homework to make sure skills learnt are practised and revised.
Being an artist myself, I have some unique and interesting ways of teaching. Mathematics is all about how much you enjoy it. If you understand the games I make you play, you understand the subject. It's so simple! Maths can be easily related to your real life problems.
- Classes Every student has a programme that is built just for them. They concentrate on getting to grips with topics that they are covering in school whilst also working on a parallel thread that is put together to fill any gaps that may exist in their core skills. * The MagiKats programme supports the National Curriculum. * More than tutor 'hot-housing' and more than learning by rote.
I pride myself on my very personal method for teaching students. I like to keep an eye on the course structure comprehensively, but I acknowledge that within any course students' skills with modules will vary. I check any student's aptitude at a subject by going through a few questions with them, and will cyclically teach them and practice with them until I feel like their strength is sufficient.
The approach i use is to firstly explain the method in a way that would easily be understood by a beginner. Making sure the student is more than comfortable to ask any questions as we go along. If they have not quite understood the first time, I would explain in a different way until they have fully understood the concept.
I prefer to make issues simple and clear so that student can easily understand. In terms of practice, exercises should be given from low to high level of difficulty. I believe the more practice, the more students will improve, therefore I appreciate the hard-working attitude. I am happy to help students solve their study problems and make them enjoy their lessons.

I am willing to provide lessons up to A Level. To start, I will make sure I am first familiar with each student's exam board. I will then begin with the absolute basics and make sure students have a clear understanding of the subject area as it is broken down before going more in-depth.
My preferred teaching method is to work from the existing notes of the student, as to teach the subject from another angle can cause confusion. I am sensitive to the need of the student to get the maximum out of the lesson, so I give the student complete freedom to direct the lesson.
I completely believe in 'practice makes perfect' and feel people learn best with examples. I am very aware Maths can seem very boring and we always get the questions 'will we ever use this' however I'm a firm believer that Maths can in fact be interesting and I aim to grasp an enthusiasm in my students first as I believe the learning follows well from there.
I have A-level maths in Algeria and a GCSE in maths here in the UK. I teach my student the lesson then I give them some questions to answer to see if they have any problems. Most student finds algebra difficult and I know how to teach them an easy way to remember.
Teaching is a learned process but the process of imparting humans is intuitive and charismatic per se. Although people go to learn how to teach but there are people who find it easier to communicate what they know without going to learn how it could be done;that is where I belong. All my past student have always said ,I am a good teacher and I take cognizant of that.
I tailor each lesson to the topics that the pupil needs help with. I try to use the books and material that the pupil already has from school so that I do not add any confusion. I believe that it is important to practice the skills that have been learnt and will set additional work to that end.
I would give classes to students who are also going for their GCSE's and I would base my lessons based on what they personally find difficult in the subject. I try to let the student tell me what they would do before I teach him the method and correct them if they mess up.
With recent experience in the 1-9 GCSE exam, I am able to easily relate to the situations of my students, allowing for more personalized lessons. I teach anyone at GCSE level who is focused and ready to progress. My teaching method is relaxed yet organised.
I like to teach concretely (practically) and this often involves walking outside the class. Often we do not understand something on paper but when we do things practically in a fun and adventurous way, suddenly we do grasp the new concept.
For me the whole process is about building confidence. Children will always thrive when they feel they can do it! Small steps set within achievable timeframes has always been my key to all the children I have taughts, success. I enjoy building confidence in a child’s ability to succeed. My main motto would be ... if we grow our confidence we have confidence to grow.
I adapt my teaching method to suit each individual to help maximise their learning. I focus on strengthens and weaknessess within their specification to ensure full understanding before moving on. I achieve this by utilising lots of past paper questions.

As I study at one of the top state schools in the UK, I understand the different levels of maths very well.
My teaching is normally on a one-to-one basis, or in small groups, to support and develop a student's progress at school, following the curriculum as required. I set appropriately high standards for each student, with the aim to extend their thinking and so improve understanding, but also to enhance confidence at every stage.
I try to develop students knowledge and extend their learning at all times. I try to include a practical task to give students time to reflect and assimilate. I try to make learning relevant and enjoyable for students and ensure they understand the process and development of a topic.
My teaching method is to make sure the students don't feel intimidated by the subject by breaking it down to a basic level and then building it up.

Flexible teaching approach depending on the the child. Having taught and still teaching my children has given me experience and expanded by ability to adapt to different teaching methods. Identify specific problem areas and support in those specific areas. Then working through exam type questions to see how to answer the questions.
My teaching method is to first analyse how the student learns and teach them accordingly. Using visuals, smaller assessments and simpler strategies I can better aid their learning, teaching them how to answer complex questions, making it effortless to understand.
