By effectively using online textbooks and finding out my weaknesses. I was able to improve my grade from a 4 to a 7 in GCSE Maths last year (Low C to A). I give the student questions to answer to go with the studied topic and mark with the student in order to show them an easier method of calculating the answer or how to get the answer they were looking for.
I have succeeded in facilitating slow learners in Maths, Science and English to get through their exams successfully. I use my own flexible methodology depending on the children's needs and skills.
My teaching method is all based around the student and how they wish to learn. My main aim is to get the student through there GCSEs without the same pressures school teachers sometimes apply. Furthermore, I hope to teach in a way which students then feel confident going into there next exam.
I find the strengths and work on the weaknesses of each individual student. I believe that everyone has the ability to learn given the right motivation and chances in life. I have not found a learner yet that cannot learn.
I am a student currently studying chemical engineering at the University of Bath. I have a flare for mathematics and chemistry, as well as a love for both the subjects. At A-level, I achieved 3 A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry. I am offering tutoring in mathematics and chemistry for GCSE, AS and A2 through the summer.
On the whole my teaching method depend on what the student is trying to achieve. For example if the student wanted to pass a class test on a specific area then getting to know the area back to front with varying examples would be the way to go about it. If the student has an exam paper coming up then learning each area extensively wouldn't be ideal however getting to know the exam papers would.

I am a business students looking to help younger students achieve the best grades possible to gain an advantage when it comes towards their personal goals for the future. My lesson structure will depend on what the students prefer. This can be visual presentations or through listening and explaining everything in thorough details.
Individual lessons catered to the students learning needs and styles. Working at their own pace but with clear end goals in sight to encourage progression. Friendly, calm and relaxed teaching. Experience of all ages, including adults, within the education sector and with students not in mainstream education.
I have worked as Maths Teacher at Downham Market Academy, I have specifically taught Maths Intervention classes for students who struggle with Maths, I have taught small groups, large groups, as well as whole classes and this, has given me a range of experience with working with students of all sorts of levels.
I can hold lessons at the students house, however many prefer to have them at Sudbury library which is a convenient learning environment. My teaching method is adaptable to most students however with most of my lessons I ensure they have a good understanding of each unit with comprehensive notes and straight forward and key points that exam boards require to achieve the best grades.
I am giving tutoring to secondary and primary students, in maths, english or science. I work on a one to one basis with the student, working with them at their pace. No rush to get through content, but no time wasting will be involved, time tutoring is used sufficiently.
Each topic is handled on a case by case basis. Using lots of worked examples to help the student understand.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching. I have 30 years of experience teaching both Maths and English to primary and secondary students.I teach up to GCSE in both subject areas. I also enjoy working alongside pupils with special needs and children who are being home educated. My youngest pupils are 7 years old and my oldest are mature adults.
I am currently in my first year of studying Engineering at the University of Manchester and I intend to go on to do a masters. I am an incredibly hard working and friendly individual, who enjoys working with other people. Personally, I feel a reward based system, works very well.
- Classes Before enrolling, your child will benefit from a Free Assessment. This will determine where on the programmes they will begin and will ensure that your child's Kumon study is individualised to their needs from the outset. Once enrolled, students will attend their local centre every week and will have individually set worksheets to complete at home.
When it comes to maths most people you come across will shudder in fear of the mention of the word, however when it comes to teaching it I always try to explain everything as simply as possible, maths doesnt have to be hard as long as you get a good foundation in it and that's what I would be aiming to do, building up on what the student knows already and helping them gain confidence in the...
My teaching method is to go through what was done in class that day so the knowledge can be secured using different resources to suit the students preferred methods may it be mind maps or flashcards. We would also over time keep going back to content taught earlier in the year so it can be refreshed.
My teaching method is to get to know what exactly the student would like to go through in terms of topics. To walk them through those topics step by step and to get them to do some questions and then give feedback in terms of both their topical knowledge and question answering technique.
- Classes After an initial assessment, a study plan is devised with targets and goals set. Initially, the work is aimed at developing the students study skills and ensuring that all the foundation building blocks are in place. Progress is closely monitored with feedback being given at the end of each session. Students progress at a rate which is suitable for them and their learning style.
