Once I fully review a topic I try to work from first principles were possible and by encouraging the right questions, ensuring that the student has an understanding of why the material is true. Past papers and example questions can then be used in learning how to apply that knowledge.
My lessons are based around a students individual needs. A student will discuss with me what they require support with and I will go on a back to basics method to give me some knowledge of where the student is and guide them through the gaps needed to learn in order to succeed.
