I am a first year Engineering student studying Mechatronics and Robotics. I studied Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Business at my A levels. I have a very no-nonsense approach to teaching. When planning lessons I always refer to the specification of the specific course in order to ensure all targets are met and that I don't over-complicate the lesson.
I believe that students should be understanding the content rather than just applying a method to a specific question; this means that students will be thus adequately prepared for a variety of different question styles. Furthermore, I can help students with any topics or homework questions that they are struggling with, including any guidance that they require to fine-tune their academic skills.
My teaching will aim to get the student to be enthusiastic about the lessons, using work sheets and fun games to get their brain whirring. I have gcse's at A grades in chemistry, Biology and maths and am working at A-grades in AS.
I am looking to give lessons to Primary, Secondary and GCSE students in Maths and Science. I aim to give students the best possible chance of succeeding. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, encouraging and opening doors for students would be such an accomplishment. How I teach? Firstly - Test! Like any other teacher, giving a test is necessary.
I'm a friendly and approachable tutor who has helped a whole range of students in the past, ranging from students in years 8 & 9 to adult learners. My teaching method is fairly straightforward, Together with the student I sit and plan out a week by week agenda with all the areas we feel need to be worked on.
I like to let the students lead each session to encourage good self-study habits, allowing them to choose the areas they want to focus on. I use a combination of textbooks, revision guides and online resources to cover the content, and apply the knowledge using past exam papers to develop strong exam techniques.
Tutoring lessons will be accommodated to the student's academic capability and level of understanding. Then the lessons will be further categorized into modules suitable for Primary, Secondary (GCSE) or AS Level at college.
I would work alongside with whatever you are learning at the minute and developed areas weakness, I would also try to work with the same methods as you to avoid confusion however if necessary I would adapt or introduce different methods to suit your requirements or needs
My teaching methods involve going over papers, doing questions and going over topics the students struggles at.
I am an honest person who will help any primary school children who need help on any subjects. For example; Trigonometry in Maths. Grammar in English! Whoever needs it I will help.

I base my lessons on the fundamentals and focus on the core concept of each particular subject. In one-to-one sessions, I find it best to figure out the best way in which each student learns, and adjust my teaching method based on this.
I help my students achieve their potential by giving them encouragement, understanding & individualised attention. I am a friendly and inspiring tutor, and many of my tutees exceed their expected grades. I am now starting online tutoring also using Zoom, you can download this for free.
Teaching Philosophy In one phrase or statement my teaching philosophy is that it is my job to help the student become the best they can become at whatever subject and whatever their abilities are. If the best is a D, then let it be, but if the best is an A then let it be an A. My job is to help the student realize their potential and get that mark.
I am a degree qualified teacher who specialises in teaching Mathematics to students who have experienced difficulties in learning Maths due to missed schooling, social, emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties.
I am currently a full-time student who studies A-Level maths, physics and product design. When mentoring students I like to be very subject and person specific and ensure they fully understand each piece of content before moving onto the next.
ONLY A's and A*'s is what I achieved in every single GCSE exam. Due to my academic experiences still being fresh in my mind I am able to relate to the student about what they are going through and teach them new updated information and techniques. Naturally I can only put in 300% effort into any task I take on so I will push your child to be the best. There is no other option.
I aim to make every lesson engaging, but also have an element of difficulty to encourage you to push yourself to the very best of your ability. Usually, each lesson will focus on one topic which we will go through in depth, and then I will give you a selection of questions to complete with me, as well as some to do on your own.
Students, providing a unique learning experience and attaining the highest grades are my key priorities as a tutor. Attention to detail, brilliant planning and timing skills ensure your passion for a subject transforms into your highest potential. - Which subject(s) do you teach? My main subject area is English and maths from KS2 - KS5, GCSE and A level.
Currently a full time teacher of mathematics at a secondary school. Excellent relationship with teachers, students and parents. Love teaching.
Lessons will always be structured with theory covered first followed by simple questions to help students understand theory and finally leading up to homework questions which will be difficult exam questions that will cement the theory and help the student grasp a real understanding of the work. Practice makes perfect.

- Classes Kumon provides individualised maths and English programmes. Attendance at class is on a 'drop-in' basis during class times and each student works on their own individual development plan. The students are at the class from between 20-30 minutes per subject depending on their age and ability and they attend once or twice a week.
Whilst at university, I volunteered as a STEM Ambassador, which involved running fun activities in schools to encourage more students to pursue a career in STEM. Prior to university, I coached trampolining to children ages 5-15. Therefore, I am familiar with varying learning styles between pupils and can adapt my approach to teaching for the individual.
We learn best when the work is challenging and engaging. Key knowledge is the building block for developing other skills.
I can assist with: 1: homework/project work 2: exam practice 3: grant／academic／job applications 4: Maths and Physics teaching up to University first year. A-level is my best level. If you tell me the topic, I can usually provide an experiment, a video, or some hand-outs. Not boring! Every topic will be done differently.
My approach to teaching is to understand your requirements then finding a learning style that works for you to tackle any questions that you think are challenging.
