I can teach GSCE and A-Level students. My teaching style is to write notes for the students during the lesson as we go through topics and ensure they understand what i have taught them by giving them past paper questions.
My teaching method is making the topic appealing to the student.
Studying Maths and Further Maths at Watford Grammar School for Boys, 1st year. Looking to teach from primary to GCSE level maths, able to do weekends and afterschool hours. Lessons consist of working systematically through topics, teaching core theory, going through exam questions and helping with any further understanding requested.
I like to teach through worked examples such as practice papers and like to help students learn methods I have used to solve complex problems, which has been proven to work in the past. Since I have personally done the new GCSE (9-1) I will be able to teach the current specification.
The subjects I am interested in teaching are best taught through practice and thus I will mainly assist students in practice questions and help them understand what steps are needed to solve a problem.
I believe in a method of understanding and practice as opposed to memorisation and repetition. Having been taught through a range of different teaching methods, I understand what works for me, and can reflect these methods upon prospective students. I am very familiar with the current Grade 9-1 GCSE Curriculum.

I have been tutoring secondary school and university students mathematics in topics ranging from algebra to advanced statistics in the math tutoring centre at my university. I have helped students from all sort of skill sets by figuring a person's existing knowledge to figure out what to teach them without wasting their time on anything that they already may understand.
My teaching is going topic by topic, focusing first on the students weaker topics, giving clear methods (with the simplest route to the answer and layout for maximizing marks) for common styles of questions that are likely to appear in an exam along with explanations that provide understanding of why the method works and the aim/outcome of the method.
I am looking to teach those who have just begun secondary school, year seven, as I believe this is the age I work best with. I approach each topic with an overview and explanation of the topic as a whole, I then go on to complete various exercises and short tests to help my student feel confident with the topic.
I am a Medical Student at studying at Barts and the London, Queen Mary University of London. Having been through the GCSE and Alevel exams at Watford Grammar only a few years ago, I am sympathetic, experienced and understanding of the knowledge required for you to achieve the top grades. I tailor each tuition to suit the individual to ensure that you will feel confident with the content.
As a student, I have recent experience in doing my exams. I can provide students with tips and how to achieve the best grades smartly. I give lesson to students below the age of 14 and will be able to boost the students grades up within a few months.
My teaching method would be mainly based of completing worksheets on math, English, reasoning, science. Children would also learn about Geography and other topics that they are interested in. I would provide 1 to 1 support, and focus would be on mastery through repeat practice.
I use worksheet that I have previously used and some books that’s have really helped me. I love children and they catch on quickly using my methods of learning simple maths for primary school students. I am a very happy and confident person who wants to help other children get good exam results.
My teaching methodology is starting with the basics at first , this allows me to have an understanding as to what level everyone is at and what I need to focus my teaching on.
Currently, I am a student in second year of A levels who is seeking to tutor mathematics to young students (primary and secondary level). Having tutored AS mathematics for a year, I have come to the realisation that it is essential for young students to learn the basics correctly. I will provide a free lesson to demonstrate my teaching style.
To begin, mathematics has always interested me and I feel as though my passion for maths enables me to be very confident in my problem solving skills. Having done further maths, maths physics and psychology, I am now proud to say that my mathematics and physics knowledge are very high.
Currently, I am a second year A level Student studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Alongside this I wish to spend some of my time providing support for students who are struggling with maths. Helping improve students` maths is what I aspire to do. I will teach topics that students feel that they are weaker in and set homework based on those topics if necessary.
Feedback based method, encourage the student to give feedback to prevent repetition of material, so the student feels they are targeting weakness' rather than repeatedly consolidating the same material. Encourage the use of examples of problems so the problem solving process is understood rather than only partially understanding a problem.
I teach by explaining each topic and individual aspect of the work and then following the work up with written questions on the subject, ensuring that the student knows how to do the work. then homework will be used to help the child stay on track with the work.
My teaching method is catered to every individual students needs but has a rough outline of practicing topics in order to in perfect state by the time exams come.
A calm, patient university student offering Mathematics lessons to GCSE and A-Level students. Outside of Core Mathematics, I specialise in Statistics. Lessons will be based around building a core understanding of concepts using multiple techniques tailored to how each individual student best learns and then applying concepts to exam questions over a range of difficulties.
I give lessons to any KS3 students (after 11+ examinations or Yr7- Yr9). I offer one to one tuition for all students and have a variety of different techniques and methods that I use to help my tutees such as going through methods step-by step, doing lots of examples and practice and making sure that that you understand everything as fully as possible.
Initially, I will get a feel for what my student requires from me. Then I will teach them in a way that they understand the subject the best.
My teaching includes detailed learning which is specific to a learners individual needs. I personal experience having also taken exams for A-Levels and GCSE so can implement methods of success and good preparation. I come across as personable and friendly and can tailor my methods of teaching in many ways to suit different learners.
I give lessons to children up to A levels. For A level and GCSE students, the lessons consist of first consolidating knowledge and then practising exam style questions. I understand the importance of following the particular specification and set regular homework in which both exam style questions need to be answered and consolidation of what I taught in lesson.
