- Classes We do only 1 to 1 classes. We look after each child and help them in achieving their goals. We undertake different levels of students and coach them through sample and past paper questions. All students are initially assessed and then placed into the class according to their ability.
I would prefer to teach lessons topic by topic but at the student's own pace.
Having studied at Oxford I learnt the unique method of teaching which combines lectures and tutorials. For tutorials I cherry pick questions and prepare test papers for my students.
I begin sessions by asking them what they are currently studying in class at their school and what problems they may be having currently so that they don’t fall behind on the basics. From there, I can build on that foundation and help them excel in their lessons and get into the secondary school they would like to go to.
I have just finished my A-levels in Maths, Biology and French. I have now applied to study Biomedical sciences at University I have experience teaching students Maths as I have worked in a Tuition centre and was part of the Maths makers programme helping young people with their Maths.
I am an A level student and I currently give lessons to anyone from KS1 to GCSE. My method of teaching is to understand the student's areas of difficulties and target problematic areas with lots of practice and questions.
I am not another teacher, I have had recent and more importantly personal experience with GCSE's and so have mastered ways of understanding, explaining and revising the syllabus. I will work together with you, and the exam specification to go through exam questions and techniques for high grades. I'll also teach tricks that i used during my own exam.
I aid learning through the use of flashcards, practice questions, whiteboard work, interactive games and other methods to aim to provide a fun learning experience for your child. These methods encourage a positive environment for your child, to help aid them academically, and to achieve their full potential.
I teach children form primary school to A Level Maths. I have always had a fascination with the subject, having been tutored myself at a young age, I know the benefits that tutoring can give. I was never naturally good at Maths, but with hard work and good teaching I was able to get a very good grade. I now hope to pass that on to others.
So what are you waiting for… Tutoring Experience: • My most recent students excelled in Maths and Further Maths, getting equal or higher grades than predicted by their schools . • I have copious experience in teaching students, relatives and friends through 11plus to A Level and above.
My name is Utsav Somani and I teach Maths, English, Science, Spanish, Computer Science, Graphics and History to Primary and Secondary school students. I will teach the children efficiently and help them make quick progress in their learning.
I prefer to give lessons to students in primary school up till year 8 as well entrance exams. I prefer to first find out how much the student already knows and how confident they are in each topic of their curriculum and then carry on from there, making sure they get lots of practice on their weaker areas.
I try to teach students Fundamentals/Concepts of the subject and believe in building strong foundation. For Example - All the problems of Speed Time and Distance can be solved easily with speed = distance/time. If we understand this basic concept, we can solved toughest problems in this area.
While teaching, I use tact, patience and persuasion to understand students’ psychology, develop rapport and build strong relationships with them to have effective two-way communication and make lectures more enjoyable.
I strongly believe that sessions should be tailored to a students specific needs to suit the way they learn best.
I like to approach topics in a structured way, whereby for my student to understand the basics and build onto harder questions that can have many steps or tiers. This normally leads to a natural progression of the question and builds the confidence for them.
I have many years’ experience of highly successful teaching from Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 Science, GCSE Science and A Level Chemistry. I have a Post-Graduate qualification in Chemistry. My pupils have fun while they study and are always proud of their progress.
My approach is very student-centred tailored to each student's individual needs. I use a variety of teaching techniques such as discussions, slides and white board. I focus on problem areas the student may need to work through. I make sure students leave my lesson with all questions answered. Regular feedback and tests will be given to students to check progress.
I teach maths and English to students age between 5 to 15 years old who attemp to pass their exams with good grades and achieve high results for their future academic life. My main aim is to make the lessons more interesting for the pupils by using maths and English computer tests as well as my own written tests, depending on the pupils' level of understanding.
I prefer one on one academic tutoring, where I can understand the student and help him to understand the subject and excel. Mathematics for me is a language, with proper understanding and practise a full control over the subject can be obtained.
I believe in practical and hands on teaching methodology.
I like to teach in a unique fun way so it eases learning and helps those who struggle learning the old fashion way. I feel by understanding topics better they can be used in real life settings and this way not forgotten :) I work on each topic by breaking them down and getting through difficult sections first and creating revision notes as I go.
I give lessons based on the structure of the exam boards the students are studying with, so that their learning with me is in line with what they are being taught at school/college. I am a believer in active learning and use whiteboards and a lot of interaction in my lessons.
Online lessons through voice calls and video chats. Lessons set up to cover important areas of the spec I have personally found may not be covered by teachers too well and require more time. Flexible to adjust lessons based upon student needs.
