Given that each person and their individual needs are different I do not adopt a generic teaching methodology.
I will be teaching KS1, KS2 AND KS3 Maths. My way of teaching is that, I will ask if there is anything that they don't understand or don't feel comfortable with and if there is, I will go through that topic with them. Also if there is any exams coming up, then I will help them with what they need help with in that exam.
I take my students' education very seriously. I usually start with a Maths assessment to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and then compile a list of topics we need to work on. I aim to give the students a test every 6 weeks on the topics we have learned to ensure they understand everything.
I will ensure that I fill in any gaps in a students knowledge. Moreover, help them through difficult concepts and then give short exam questions. My main aim will be that students get the best grades. As a tutor, I will start of by forming foundation then lead on to building a stronger foundation by giving students questions at different levels of difficulties.
I am happy to do tuition in students homes or library. Please let me know if you’re interested.

I like to tailor my teaching based on the needs of the student and approach things from there. I can make my lessons lecture based or do less talking and more working, by going through questions and examples to help with topics.
I base my teaching on the ability of the child and I aim to break the subject down as much as possible so that it is easy to understand. The structure of the lessons I provide would be to use a diagnostic test first to identify specific areas of weakness and then I would work from there, however it is dependent on every child.
My teaching methods are based on classes and approach very easy and understanding methods for students to understand very well
My teaching method is that I want to make sure the student understands maths fundamentally so that when GCSE level approaches they have a solid understanding of maths instead of just knowing maths. My teaching method is based on the pupils best way of learning. I feel that practice and repetition are the key to learning and exercises will be part of my lessons. I am happy to help the pupil find their own method of learning.
I like to break down subjects to their basics to ensure a full understanding of it. I like to use videos, drawings and abbreviations in order to help understanding and memory of the subject I'm teaching, and have no problem with going over a subject several times in order for it to be understood.

I'm a recent MEng Aeronautics student at Imperial College London offering Maths and Physics tuition for secondary school pupils (primarily at GCSE & A-Level). My lessons are interactive with plenty of worked examples and practice questions to help pupils grasps difficult concepts. I also like to put the subject matter I cover into context by relating it to real-world events and phenomena.
My teaching method is to work through questions which progressively get more chalanging. This allows the student to attempt questions he/she can answer and allows the student to learn the steps to answer questions that they do not understand. I also go through topics that the student may request to study.
My teaching method is usually online. I use whiteboards and quizzes throughout to keep it interactive. I set homework based on the lesson and will tailor successive lessons on homework and progress.
I believe strongly, all children have the ability to learn a huge amount. I encourage children's natural learning ability. My focus is on *`I can'* and the glass being *`half full'*. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach maths using a right brain, left brain approach. I use a range of accelerated learning techniques including: visual - e.g.
- Classes Children follow a programme, the starting point being determined by an initial assessment. The maths programme is pure maths - from number recognition to GCSE algebra. It includes topics such as shape, time, measurement, area/perimeter, series, etc. We will also help with applied topics as required. We can provide practice papers for school exams (KS1, KS2, GCSE).
- Classes Kumon provide individualised Maths and English programmes. Attendance at class is on a "drop-in" basis during class times as each child works on their own individual development plan. Children take approximately 20-30 minutes per subject and attend class once or twice a week.

I would first get to know the individual as well as the specific exam board. I would have 10 minutes at the start to review the last lesson, 20 minutes for the new content and another 20 minutes for questions. The last 10 minutes would be for the student's questions and be assigning some individual work too.
My teaching method is, if there are any homework or questions from past papers that you find difficult, come to me for help and email me the work in advance so I can recap and we will go through them until you are satisfied.
