I am an experienced teacher and understand how important it is to build confidence by experiencing success. I am methodical but patient, and I tailor my teaching according to the age, ability and preferences of my students. I am a 3rd year student at Oxford University and obtained an A* in GCSE maths and an A* in A Level maths in just one year. Whilst my academic attainment is evidence of my capabilities as a tutor, being a good tutor is about more than this.
I specialise in teaching Maths at GCSE level and A level, as well as some areas of undergraduate Maths. Each student is different, so I try to adapt my teaching style to suit each particular student. Some students this prefer a very flexible approach, whereas others (often younger students) require a curriculum.
My teaching method is such that I break down the topics into the most simplest way possible so that even the students who are struggling to learn would be able to learn. I'm very determined and passionate about helping others that I would not easily give up until the student fully understands a topic.
- Classes Kumon provide individualised Maths and English programmes. Attendance at class is on a "drop-in" basis during class times as each child works on their own individual programme. Children take approximately 20-30 minutes per subject and attend class once or twice a week. The Kumon programmes work in a logical sequential way to develop mathematics and English skills and competence.
My teaching methods are simple. I explain concepts in a simple manner in which the student can understand and can apply this knowledge to questions in science. I always introduce the topic to the student, give them as example of how to work a question out (in maths), and then we do a question together. They will then do a question independently. Homework is set based on the lesson.
I provide one-to-one and small group coaching. I help students develop understanding, technique and confidence. I respond intelligently to individual students, helping them find an approach to studying that works well for them and that they can extend as they progress. I am happy to work with students doing GCSE maths, embarking on an A Level or tackling the maths component of functional skills.
My teaching method is very simple relying on the student to guide where the lessons go and the pace that they go at. I have several methods of teaching which allows me to work with all different types of people.
I do not have a specific teaching method, together we can try and work something out tailored for your needs.
I approach each topic according to Curriculum requirements and follow schemes of work closely in my lesson planning. I explain exam techniques, subject-specific vocabulary and strategies to ensure success in exams, using the best available resources and past papers for practice.
I am a rare element, with a positively charged formula - a full-time expert chemistry, maths & UKCAT tutor, dedicated to budding white coats & collars: medics, dentists, vets, pharmacists, scientists, finance, & tecchies needing grade A*, A or B.
I will teach students according to their need. I will try to tune myself in harmonium to the frequency of the student needs. I strongly believe if I can get a chance in working as a tutor, I believe I can be a part of children’s growth in their studies and can fill with a wonderful experience in dealing with the international children. I am quite good at Math, Science, and English.
With 43 years professional experience I tutor in all major subjects of Civil Engineering. Examples: 1) Hydraulics 2) Concrete Structures 3) Steel Structures 4) Mathematics 5) Management 6) MICE qualification I live in central London and accept students to my teaching space. I do not visit students.
I am a University student so my lessons will be helpful for teen up to 17 or 18 years of age. My methods are simple and mainly theory based but I believe that every case is different so after the first lesson it will definitely be easier to make a plan.
I give lessons to Primary pupils I tend to use demonstration i.e. visual learning and pratical learning. I try my hardest to make my lessons enjoyable and easier to understand. I work best with children who find it harder to learn maths.
My approach is totally based on student, I will first listen to the student and then try to develop notes as per his/her understanding. I am open to taking lectures that falls into my area of expertise. I am more focused towards building concepts by developing the lectures as simple as possible.
My teaching experience has been with all ages from 6-16 specifically in math and science not English. I will preferably teach gcse math however can teach any level below this as I atained at 9 at GCSE and strongly believe I will be better than an Adult tutor at this as I sat my GCSES last year and everything is still fresh in my mind.
-I evaluate students learning styles and implement lesson plans concentrating on their abilities. -I develop instructional materials to help students understand the concepts of mathematics easily. -I assess students often to determine their understanding and progress.
Every student is unique and I seek to tailor my teaching style to suit their way of learning. I can create a relaxed, enjoyable but also challenging learning environment for students to maximise their learning potential.
I use a lot of question and answer techniques and going through exam style techniques to tackle specific tasks which prepare my students for every possible type of question. In my explanations I often use comparisons and analogies, especially if we are covering new material which the student has not encountered before. This helps them to make links with previously acquired material.
Mathematics isn’t just incredibly interesting, it is also fun to play with. There are three stages to learning: (i) listening / reading; (ii) writing / doing; and (iii) explaining. You will become a master of Mathematics or Science if you can do these three simple steps. My job is to help you using these stages and for you to enjoy yourself along the way.
I have a strong life-long commitment to working for universities and industries. I worked for over 15 years as a university researcher, lecturer, and digital engineer for a number of universities and industries.
My teaching style is hands on, I like to make sure my students understand what is being taught by giving plenty of examples and explaining the work followed by letting them practice themselves. I then would go over the work with them to see if they understood and work from there to help them further.
I hаve а pаtient аnd eаsy-gоing аpprоаch tо my tutоring thаt аllоws me tо mаke the leаrning fun аnd enjоyаble fоr yоur children. My teaching motto is "slow and steady". Through first building the child's confidence in a particular area through mini-games and quizzes, I will then start to reinforce concepts, give a test at the end and then grade their work using their educational syllabus.
