I like to work from a problem or a task and work with my student as a team to create ideas for an outcome. I lead by example. I make mistakes, but learn from them, and have a bit of fun. I use all of the methodologies of teaching visual, oral, kinaesthetic, verbal etc. And then the student is let loose on a project with more autonomy.
I base my teaching around the needs of the learner. A fun and experimental approach to get ideas flowing. I believe anyone can draw and be creative and my job is to remove any barriers and assist learners with finding their artistic style.
I believe that any student with the right amount of commitment and passion can achieve the grades they deserve. It is with this positivist attitude that I run my lessons. I happily will teach for any age and any level.
