I assess and tailor each lesson based on what my student needs. Firstly, I assess what they need help with and design a teaching plan. I teach topics that they require help with and pick up topics that I feel they need to work on. I teach according to their syllabus with regular assessments. I set homework every week and go over any questions they need help on.
My teaching method is not so hard, I teach as easy that even a IV or V class students can learn matriculation level chemistry and trigonometric. If someone can't get me then i provide extra classes at their own cost to make them equal to others.
I customise my teaching based upon my student's needs. While some students like me to go through theory more extensively before jumping into questions, others like to practice exam questions together. I create worksheets and solve the problems my students need help with before each session, and try to hone in as much as I can on their areas of difficulty.
Hi! I am a Undergraduate Student currently studying at UEA, Norwich. I obtained a results of ABB for my A levels for Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. I also obtained 3A* and 4A for my GCSE O Levels, A* being Mathematics D, Chemistry and Accounting while A for Additional Mathematics, Physics, Biology and English Language.
I have a simplistic approach to teaching, which I learnt gave me the best results when I was a student at each level of education
GCSE Maths & Science/A-Level & IB Chemistry Tutor. I believe it is important to build a friendly and equal relationship with the student and I hope that my experience of the ups and downs of school, and university, can help the students beyond Maths and Science.
My method will be addressing individual needs with particular topics, I excel at explaining in Leymann's terms, so the concept can be grasped, then diving into the technical aspects. I will tutor topic-by-topic on a specified syllabus, until each topic is understood.
I prefer to think of teaching as about a specific topic, rather than at a particular level. My teaching style will vary from topic to topic, but I try to be as interactive and hands-on as possible.
My teaching method is logical and problem based learning. Going through each chapter in the specifications to ensure the student fully understands the required information.
I have just finished my A-Levels and therefore am very familiar with current A-Level and GCSE material. I employ multiple approaches to ensure I tailor my teaching to each student. Each lesson focusses on a key subject with a recap and a plenary at the end and beginning respectively.
If there are any questions from GCSEs or A Levels, I could use example to explain and to coach. Using different examples is always the best way to illustrate.
My teaching method is based around using past paper questions to develop exam technique and further the students knowledge in the subject.
I like to teach by first recapping the basic concepts of a topic, and then develop the concept and work them into harder problems, progressing the students' skill level with a topic until they are confident and proficient in an area. Once I feel the student is ready I will test them with past exam questions, which we will go through the mark scheme of afterwards.
I am able to give lessons from primary school to year 11 (GCSE). I will teach by going through the topic and providing questions to practice (if applicable). I am an incredibly friendly and patient person, and am hoping to become a primary school teacher.
I am happy to tutor anyone up to and including AS-level students for Maths and Physics, but only up to GCSE standard for any other subject. For other subjects, you may need to check I did them at GCSE and whether I would be confident to tutor you, as I did not excel in all subjects.
I finished A Levels this summer (maths, further maths, physics and chemistry), and received A*s in all four. Will be studying physics at Durham University. Able to tutor with maths and physics up to secondary or AS level. I think it's important to really understand a topic rather than simply memorise facts or a method and that is how I aim to teach.
I am a head of science at a successful Norfolk School. My focus is advancement of progress and results, enrichment of science and increasing the popularity of single science GCSE and Advanced level qualifications. I have personal experience of programmes running at CERN and NASA projects. I teach all sciences from KS3 up to year 11 GCSE level, then specialise in Physics from there on.
My teaching is based around your needs, I am here to help you understand and work out any problems you may have.
My teaching method is very creative and influencing. I use modern technology and daily life examples to teach you important concepts. I will teach to to make strong you base in the subject. After taking my lessons you will have strong grip on the subject.
