My lessons are fun, interactive and give a deep insight into the processes involved in studying Mathematics and Physics. Although the proofs are an important part of understanding these subjects the real challenge lies in being able to solve questions quickly and easily.
I taught students at the university. We had a problem that we needed to solve. I asked questions which they had to answer to understand how much knowledge do they had about the topic. After, I explained the situation, the way we should solve it and the reasoning.
My teaching method is the one to one individual style because it offers the student the opportunity to ask vital questions to deepen their understanding of the concept being explained. I base my classes on understanding the base concepts and then using the principal ideas to solve problems by working on sample questions.
My method of teaching is figuring out the student's weakness and spend more time with them on those topics until they come to a clear understand and spend less time on those topics they are excellent with and they understand.
Motivational but building confidence with practice. Students sometimes just need a good focus on revision or note taking. I particularly work on these skills to enhance their outcome.Usually I work with KS3 or KS4 students but have had Chemistry A level students.
I teach Maths by laying out a structure of working to solve a problem, and teach how to identify a problem to then to use the newly learned structure and break down the complex question into easy-step solutions. It is a method I use in Engineering Maths at University and is a technique that arms anyone with the ability to solve a complex maths problem.
I base my lessons on simplicity. A wise man once said that if you cannot explain it simple enough then you probably dont understand it well enough. We must relate the abstract to the simple daily life for the students to grasp.
I am comfortable teaching from Year 7 through to A-level and though I can teach groups, I feel I can bring the best value in a 1:1 or 2:1 scenario. In terms of approach, I seek to assess each students learning styles and inorder to adapt my learning methods accordingly. The first couple of sessions will be focused on understanding where the student is and developing a plan moving forward.
The way I teach is by, doing practicals rather than just explaining it. I believe that if something is taught by explaining the method, topic and by doing an example, a student will learn much quicker as they are able to relate to the topic more. Therefore, it is easier to pick up.
My teaching method is expand a students current knowledge and helping to improve their basic overall knowledge. I do this as i know without a level starting field its hard to build on higher subjects. For example you wouldn't teach algebra if someone cannot rearrange equations.
A teaching method comprises the principles and methods used by teachers to enable student learning. These strategies are determined partly on subject matter to be taught and partly by the nature of the learner. For a particular teaching method to be appropriate and efficient it has to be in relation with the characteristic of the learner and the type of learning it is supposed to bring about.
Socratic which is based on probing the student in discovering. As a teacher I do set the scene for students to find best methods for them to learn in different ways and the discoveries will motivate them to learn more.
Hi, I'm Chris and I am a fully qualified teacher of Physics with great passion and enthusiasm for the subject. I always endeavour to relate topics to current events and give them real life context to make it more engaging and memorable for students. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Biology, Chemistry and Maths up to GCSE, Physics and Applied Science up to A-level.
My teaching methodology primarily focuses on an oral, student-centered Differentiated Instruction process, which involves understanding the students needs and ways of thinking, and providing a variety of analogies and imaginative techniques to broaden an individual student's grasp on the topic.
I will teach primary and secondary school students who may be struggling to grasp science or maths concepts using what I have learnt and the methods I used to memorise my facts before my exams. I will try to be amicable with students and focus in detail on areas they struggle with until they can do it confidently and accurately.
I am a young and creative tutor that is keen to look at students' School/College work and lesson plans in depth as to prepare fun and effective lesson schedules that enhance and maximise a student's understanding in each topic. I love finding many different ways to explain the same concepts should a pupil need a more thorough approach to their learning.
My aim is to streamline the learning process through teacher-guided student identification of learning needs and targets. Additionally, I advocate for students solving their own questions via inquiry based learning.
I find tutoring across a range of subjects immensely rewarding and want students to discover and develop the skills and knowledge to achieve their goals and build their confidence for life. - Which subject(s) do you teach? GCSE Maths, Physics, Science A level Physics, Maths 11+ & 13+ (inc. Maths, Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning) - Tell me about your qualifications.
I give lessons to GCSE students who need a boost or some one on one attention to reach the grade they need (whether it be a C or an A*). I believe that all students learn differently and have varying strengths and weaknesses, especially in Maths, so I do my best to cater to each student's individual learning style.
My method of teaching is simple. I focus on each topic and move forward completing one topic at a time giving exercises related to each topic simultaneously. I believe this method helps students to understand and clear their doubts thouroghly.
I make sure to contact the teachers and stay in constant contact with them to make sure that the student is improving and that we coordinate class material. This way the material we use in our tutoring sessions is identical to what they are doing in class.
I aim to have a friendly rapport with my students, with the goal of making my students feel like the can "get things wrong". I want my students to feel comfortable with me and not embarrassed to try and fail! This way we can work out where the fundamental misunderstandings lie and work on them together.
I am a private tutor specialising in online tuition via skype in mathematics and the physical sciences. I am willing to provide ongoing tuition or one-off tailored revision sessions, depending on the needs of the students. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Mathematics and physics, from primary school up to A-level, plus university-level Physics. - Tell me about your qualifications.
I find it important to work with my students and to listen to what motivates and interests them. I link the science content to their interests them and make links between the content and their interests. This makes it easier to remember. I also seek out my students' misconceptions and correct them. This leads to a deeper understanding of the subject content.
I am able to teach students from Key Stage 3 up to GCSE in subjects relating to maths, chemistry and physics. Lessons would be based on your current knowledge of the subject, and built up from then on.
My teaching method varies depending on the individual, I like to structure it best around how they learn. The main idea is to provide the student with an understanding of the topic so they can tackle any question they are faced with.
Nothing is more satisfying to me than introducing difficult concepts, explaining them thoroughly and bridging the gap of understanding for you, my student. We will work together to determine what you understand so far and then plan the path to your goal of understanding the concepts and developing your practice more completely.
My approach is thorough, based upon traditional methods and content, as well as a very personable nature. My results are consistently excellent, normally in the range of two to four grades for GCSE students and two grades for A-level.
Establish organizational goals, performance objectives, guidelines and best practices. Psychosocial, practical and teaching support to children facing difficulties. Assessment of their needs, and continuous every day rearrangement of goals and countenance approaches. • Creating long-lasting trustful relationships with children and the staff. • Excellent inter-personal skills.
When I am teaching I hold close to your syllabus and relevant text book. We willbe looking at exam papers and mark schemes, which is key to discovering what examiners are looking for and how to gain those crucial few marks that will improve your grade.
