My teaching methodology depends on the student and the course . First i asses the student to place him in a certain level and the based on this assessment the strength and the frequency of the course will be decided.
I want to encourage my students to ask questions, including the ones that they feel they should already know the answers to. I am patient, knowing that success and failure are both important parts of the learning process.
I can teach any student who wants to learn GCSE, KS3, KS2 and KS1 maths, Physics and Chemistry. I am a very friendly person with a calm and friendly approach; as I am a student myself I can understand the common areas students may struggle in.
I teach my students all of the content required - I find visual aids/models to be particularly helpful. Practicing exam questions are also a big part of progressing academically! 100% pass rate with all students exceeding their teacher predicted grades.
I'm not your average tutor. I'll bring everything down to your level and build a solid foundation from which we can build a thorough understanding of the subject. I'll try my best to make it as easy to understand as possible.
I am happy to tutor students about Organic and Inorganic Chemistry to a degree level. Also Chemistry, Maths, and Physics at any level from primary school to 6th form. I like my classes to be relaxed, so that the student(s) and I can build up a rapport, which helps to solidify learning.
I am completing my Bachelor of Science program. My typical lesson structure is going over the student's materials on the subject, explaining everything to make sure their understanding is complete. I also prepare my own materials and go over those, skipping parts the student knows. Then we do questions to practice for tests, from textbooks and ones I make myself.
I adapt my teaching methods to best fit my student. I usually go over the core syllabus and give my students homework and see if they are making any progress. I am attentive and am a good observer, such that I can spot the students weak and strong areas and thus plan my lessons accordingly.
First try to quote a practical example from my vast experience in research field of physics and mathematics(automobile) to help understand the topic and then dive into further details of theory for better understanding. It works well to connect practical knowledge with theoretical.
I can help you get your head around concepts in a fun yet concise manner as well as providing relevant exam technique advice. I am happy to travel short distances to your house, or alternatively you can come to me.
I approach my teaching methods on the students ability and focus, often looking to stretch students to their full potential, as well as simplifying problems for understanding. I aim to develop students exam technique and often use example questions to make new topics clear.
I approach topics by building foundational knowledge first. I structure my lessons around short intervals with breaks to maximise retention. I am able to produce revision materials and help students develop efficient revision techniques with integral incorporation of scientifically proven methods such as spaced repetition along with many others. I can adapt my style to all types of learners e.g.
I begin any lecture by giving the brief introduction about the topic and contents of the topic. I also emphasize on the definition. I also believe in teaching by giving examples which gives it the whole meaning. At the end of every topic I give few points which summaries the whole topic. I feel comfortable in teaching to middle and secondary grade students ( in Indian system upto 10th class).
I am teaching GCSE and A level Physics students and my lessons generally last for an 1.5 hours. My approach is to spend 70% of the lesson explaining a particular topic and the remaining time guiding the student in completing exercises (generally past paper exercises).
I am looking to tutor secondary level students (Years 7-11) in maths and science. I am happy to help with homework, go over areas where your child may be struggling and provide questions for them to complete. I can also be of use to those students who need help pushing themselves further academically.
I am an engineering student and aim to base lessons around the government syllabus for the required school level, focusing on specific problem areas for each individual. I aim to cover the main points making sure the student understands what and why they are studying and reinforcing this with practise questions and past papers.
Your first tutoring sessions will start by establishing what you want to achieve from the sessions – what exam you’re preparing for, what you already know and what topics you want to cover. It’ll also give us a chance to get to know each other a bit! Before each session, I will prepare specific material for the tutee – what areas I like to cover and how.
I have a very good understanding of the national curriculum and an excellent knowledge of all the subjects I teach. With that I can go into as much and as little detail as needed. I always find a way of linking subjects together and I break everything down to a simple explanations.
I think it is important for a student to have a good understanding of a topic before attempting to apply it in an exam. Students all have very different ways of thinking and I try to accommodate for as many mindsets as possible. Maths, in particular, are often difficult when they are not explained or practised properly - many issues can be resolved by explaining things step by step.
My teaching method is through diagrams and representations, i feel that feeding information at people does not work effectively. However monitoring my previous teachers and lecturers I feel that by demonstrating concepts and methods in a much more concise way is a very efficient way of teaching.
I try to make my teaching method whatever suits the student best whether its lots of questions or a more practical approach. I will try to make the lessons as fun but educational as possible. I can supply with alot of material that will guide them through there course.
Practice makes perfect! Understanding a question and being able to do a question are two different things. Distinguishing between the two separates a grade A student from grade C. I aim to give my students the ability to understand what they are doing in order to be confident with any type of question they come across.
So far most of my students have been A-level physics and A-level maths students, these are therefore the subjects I am most comfortable teaching. However I have occasionally tutored GCSE maths students and helped fellow students with advanced calculus at university.
I believe a student should always work smart not hard. I try to explain or portray any problem or theories in a way to make the students understand them with ease. I help student to understand everything rather than memorising them.
I learn through visualisation of problems - I model examples on real life experiences and am patient when explaining. I will adapt to your way of learning and help you through any issues you may experience in school.
The best teaching methodology with the subjects I’m offering to tutor is no methodology, I will tailor the lessons base on the topics you struggle with. I’ve mentored a high school maths class for 3 months before, and really enjoyed that experience.
My teaching method would vary according to the aims and learning style of the student. Generally, I would aim to instill a strong overall understanding of the topic while also working through exam papers in order to become familiar with the question style and so that the student follows the expected method.
I am very thorough in the way I approach my lessons. Compared to other A-Levels i believe maths is one of the easiest ones. There's no controversy when it comes to answers, it's either correct or incorrect, there may be multiple ways to approach questions but they will lead to the right solution if done correctly. This makes it one of the easiest A-Levels to prepare for.
I just try to make the students understand the concept and offer them an easy guide to under the problem and how to reach to the solution.I try to minimize the time taken to solve the question and at the same time ensure the students get it right the next time he approaches the similar question.
