My teaching is predominantly one-to-one and student led. I teach chemistry, physics, geography and geology up to A Level and up to GCSE mathematics.
My teaching style builds from the ground up and is aimed at A-level students and below. This target group has been chosen to ensure that I am capable of covering all bases necessary for a sound understanding in the subjects as well as offering exploration and additional learning beyond and into Degree level topics.
I can tutor anyone at the pre-uni level. My strategy is to approach each student differently, make him or her understand the whole concept and actually enjoy physics which is my greatest passion. I never had to learn physics by heart and I don't want my students to do it - instead I want to teach them how to think in a proper way.
I teach each lesson based on the students needs and abilities. I From years of studying the respective subjects, I can offer an in depth explanation to the relative subject matter which allows the student a whole different perspective from the approach taken in the classroom. I hold the view that rigorous past paper practice is the key to achieving good grades in exams.
My teaching method consists of getting to know the student and working around his strengths and weaknesses with regard to that subject. I strongly believe that the application of theory to important examples (from past papers and relevant books) will help out a lot. I personally like to use a whiteboard to explain as simple and as fun as possible such that the student gets a hang of the concept.
I like to make sure the student understands the concept in depth and logic before trying to teach further into the topic. For example, in Maths, not understanding the basics properly and completely can later lead to greater incomprehension and setbacks.
I try and find out what pupils find difficult about a subject, and then talk through the theory and offer different methods to approach problems, providing plenty of examples and questions to make sure the content is understood! Having not always enjoyed or been good at science and maths, and having taught numerous people, I am sympathetic to how frustrating not grasping something can be and will...
I provide lessons to students in IB Physics SL, HL and IB Math SL and HL. My teaching method is results-driven and is focused on tackling basic understanding before improving on exam performance. I thoroughly believe in a patient teaching environment, predominantly driven by the questions from the student.
Once I fully review a topic I try to work from first principles were possible and by encouraging the right questions, ensuring that the student has an understanding of why the material is true. Past papers and example questions can then be used in learning how to apply that knowledge.
I am comfortable giving lessons to Primary school, High school/ Comprehensive school and GCSE students who are struggling or just need help with a particular topic. I feel that I am easy to get on with and approachable as I'm kind in nature.
I am a senior lecture in Engineering Mathamatics and Physics at a leading university in London and also an experienced A-Level tutor. Maths is my passion and I do really enjoy teaching mathematics and physics.
I have been passionate about sciences since leaving school 40 years ago. After 15 years as a private tutor I have found tremendous satisfaction helping students understand the complex issues introduced at A level and GCSE. - Which subject(s) do you teach? A level Chemistry A level Biology A level Physics GCSE science GCSE maths - Tell me about your qualifications.
As mentioned, I have tutored at GCSE, A level and degree-level. I cover AQA, EdExcel, iGCSE, and IB exam boards. Every student is different, so I tailor my tutoring approach to the needs of the student. However, I have noticed some trends in the problems that students often face.
I will give lessons to anyone doing GCSE/A-level maths or physics. Typically the lesson will be problem focused, they will tackle problems, with some small guidance from me- this will give students confidence in their own ability as they achieve progress themselves.
ABOUT MY SESSIONS The structure of my sessions depends on the needs of the student. I can structure sessions in the form of content, so teaching you by asking questions of key terms etc and giving you the key points needed for your GCSE examination. I make effort to include exam questions into my sessions.
I aim to give maths, chemistry and physics lessons to students up to, and including AS Level I approach teaching with a fun and can do attitude in order to keep students on task and prevent them from switching off. I tend to engage with students regularly, asking them questions and giving them a chance to respond rather than just talking at them for the full session.
I teach using problem based methods, rather than introducing concepts abstractly, which I think makes them less understandable. Working through problems exposes problems in understanding which can them be addressed, and then gives students confidence intheir ability to tackle problems.
My teaching method is through clear and proper explanation no concept is ever too complex for someone to grasp. And then practice on top of that will always make perfect.
It's important to always recognize who you're teaching before starting with them (age is an undeniable modifier), with that being said it is good that I have taught different ages so I am adaptable to any child to young adult.
My teaching will focus on GCSE as well as students starting their first year studying maths at A-level, teaching will focus on topics that students struggle on but won't be restricted to just those areas of the subject and will likely go into further detail to ensure a solid understanding of the topic.
My teaching methodology is simplify every possible problem, question and answer in the easiest way. This way broadens the users understanding of what is being asked while proving to the user to learn from any specific subjects foundations.
My method of teaching is to give as little input as possible to allow the student to do most of the thinking themselves. This allows them to fully understand the topics they are required to and so they have an ingrained knowledge of the subject area with which it becomes easier to revise with and achieve a higher grade at GCSE.
All my lessons are delivered as presentations to help the student visualise the content. In addition, I provide a work sheet and a set of GCSE's past exam questions on the subject of each lesson. I encourage students to answer as many questions as they can, so that they are well prepared to get the most marks from each question.
My teaching methods is a topic by topic approach with small tests to check that everything has been properly learned and understood. I am more than happy to help with any work above the syllabus to ensure that the student is ready for the challenging exams that come towards them.
level: GCSE subjects: Maths, statistics, further maths, physics I aim to teach in a way that is personal to the individual. I would change the lesson that I am teaching depending on factors such as: understanding, focus and memory. I will also make lessons engaging.
From tutoring others over the 2 years of 6th form, I have developed a clear idea of what is required for exam preparation. In schools, the way maths concepts are taught are very rigid and fact/ memorization orientated, which is the main source of difficulty for students when they encounter something ‘unfamiliar’.
My method based on the originally made structure for each set of unit. This structure will help students to understand the theory well. My order is very neat and student will gain confident while learning it. Subject will be more interest with visual aids.
My teaching method depends on the student. I evaluate their needs and compare them with their strengths and weakness and with that see how to approach the issue. Usually, the method I would choose is to learn by with time, fully understand thing requires time and cannot be rushed so planning how to approach a study topic requires establishing manageable goals.
My objective in teaching is to make sure you understand the key idea and I get to know if you understood by making sure you solve exercises that I would use to judge your understanding. Also, I try as much as possible to device techniques to help with proper understanding and learning.
My teaching method is getting to know the students first, once we know your strengths and weaknesses I can then prepare materials for you to best develop your growth towards your learning. I use videos, google drive to share additional documents as well as prepare colorful motion power points if you are a visual learner and need help picturing your focus.

Physics is the study of of the entire universe down to its smallest form. From atoms to the interaction of protons, neutrons and electrons, all of life is made up of these items. Of course, it is far more complicated than this, and for many students, it is complicated to the point of simply not understanding the subject matter. That is why using the help of private teachers with physics private lessons is such a good idea. With the help of these private lessons, any student, no matter how much they are struggling, is going to receive specific, tailor crafted lessons and plans to help them understand the subject and give them the tools to move forward in the class.
Not all students learn the same way, so going in and hiring physics private teachers is such an important option. With the help of these electricity private lessons and the engineering private teachers, it is possible for any student, regardless of how they learn, to finally grasp the set topic. Learning these topics is not always going to be easy, but the private teachers are there to discover how a child might learn and what is the best way for them to understand the subject.
Our Physics tutors write articles on their subject to help you better understand the material.
