I take a personal approach with each of my students and find that my relatively young age helps me to relate with them more than most other tutors. I am passionate about not only assisting them in passing there exams but instilling within them an intuitive understanding for the subject.
I love to start from the basics and work my way to the complicated stuff while ensuring efficient use of time. This is necessary regardless of any previous knowledge the student might possess. I also love using natural phenomenoms (for example, the bouncing of water droplets under conditions to explain surface tension. etc) to create a vivid image of whatever is being taught to the student.
First of all I try identify the weak and strictly points of the student. My methodology is based in work clarifying the theoretical questions and after using exercises as a tool of fixation of the contents.
I believe in teaching the fundamental building blocks first and working our way up from there. This ensures students can take skills and transfer them into unknown areas (Actually learning) rather than being stuck once an unknown problem is seen.
I have a syllabus focus approach and this is beneficial as it ensures the tutee covers all examinable aspects of the course and gain an understanding of what exactly is expected of them come the exam. This further helps in breaking down topics to easy to digest chunks and keeps the students motivated and focused to achieve their goals.
I cover the teaching syllabus with the students but specifically focusing on areas they struggle with. I give detailed feedback after each session and provide the students with homework to complete that summarises the sessions work and then go over any mistakes.
I use a detailed and simple true life analogical method from true-true, false-false or true-false, false-true to be able to break down simple logical problems of subjects that engages in the scientific aspects both statistically and logically.
My classes are mostly practical so students can get the most valuable experience out of the classes. We would start doing exercises together and then going over them in order to analyze the different strategies and ways of solving a problem.
My teaching method varies from student to student. During the first lessons I usually spend the first 20-25 minutes playing game talking to the student finding about them to understand how they learn and what they stugggle with. I then plan acordingly.
My teaching method is very analytical and not memorisation based. I like teaching my students by making them really grasp the concept so that you can apply it in daily life. I am very patient and can manage the pace of your need.
Revolutionary, innovative, fun, highly effective & affordable. I believe every student deserves every opportunity to learn, progress & achieve their full potential without any restrictions or limits. I teach/tutor students of all ages for the following: AS-Levels, A-Levels, GCSEs, SATs, 11 Plus, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3.
I teach by relating with simple things that students know and advancing concepts slowly by giving practical solutions repetitively. My method has proved to be effective since students need to relate complicated concepts with simple things that they know. I give many examples that ensure that the student completely understands the concepts.
Having already received my GCSE results, I give lessons to a Year 11 struggling with Maths, Physics and occasionally Chemistry. - Able to provide a clear and logical approach to a problem. - Able to provide alternative routes to a problem if need be. - Completed the new GCSE system (9-1).
I provide support to GCSE and A-Level students who mostly need guidance and tips in achieving those top grades! My main method of teaching are going through past papers and recognising the topics that the individual needs extra support with. I then creating a lesson plan using this information and give my advice on various methods that you can use.
I like to teach using analogies, which makes it much easier for students to grasp the subject matter that can otherwise be difficult to imagine at first.
I am an Engineer working for a bank as a Transformation manager. I have been tutoring since I was at University and specialize in helping students of all ages ranging from KS3 to Degree level. My method of teaching is more based on personalized help rather than just going through course work.
After discussion with both the students and parents about what they would like to focus on and the students aims are, I will structure lessons by a brief introduction to the subject followed by completing a prepared workshop questions with the student. The workshop questions will be tailored to the student and their aims.
I am currently in my second year study of material science and engineering at Imperial College. I would use objects or events from daily basis to explain scientific ideology Therefore, my methods would tend to be more focusing on understanding the concept rather than doing examples.
Proactive and intuitive teacher who pushes learners to aspire to maximum potential using the 3 Rs - recall, research and record. Lesson delivery is up to level 5 /6 of further education. Summary sheets provided at the start of a lesson, activity sheets introduced throughout lesson for interaction and lesson evaluation at ending.
I like to take my teaching right back to basics. We look at the simplicity of the subject and gradually build up. I believe that by fully understanding a problem or topic is the best method, as it means knowledge can be applied better. Do not worry! No question is too silly...
My teaching method vary depending on both the needs and level of my students. However, when a student approaches a new subject, I find that an effective way to do that is by concrete examples the student can easily visualize.
My teaching method is focusing on your weaknesses first and making sure that you understand this fully before covering what you already are confident in, i also look at what is your best method of learning and use that to help you progress further
My teaching method is to understand need of my students and provide possible options/ solutions so they can implement too.
I base my classes around you, and what you think is best. I am patient and able to explain concepts well, as I already mentor a student in my school. I am able to teach from the new GCSE specification as I learnt from it myself.
I am delighted to see all my students excel including those that may be somehow regarded weak students. I do my best to simplify all concepts, making derivations and showing exactly how different concepts are interlinked both within a given subject or between other subjects.
My teaching method is that I go over every specification point on the syllabus and then go through various questions in order to strengthen the knowledge and improve exam technique on the topic covered.
My method of teaching is based on the fact that students/ people tends to remember when the topic of discussion is explain and understood fully in a simple and concise manner. As such I break down complicated topics into understandable smaller lessons.
As in my opinion the most efficient and reliable way to learn maths and improve the ability to solve different math problems is by going through many examples, therefore in my sessions we will focus on applying a before introduced method/concept to solve different problems.
I dont have a pattern of teaching or a method, i fully observe the student, their level of understanding, their strenghts and weaknesses, how they respond and behave, their seriousness and responsibility of being capable to learn and know what is being taught, ALL THE FACTORS.
My teaching method is to explain to the student, give them some resources like worksheets and questions, and let them have a go at answering the problems. I will assist them when needed, of course but there must be an element of independence in most cases! My simple and excellent way of teaching has never failed and my students never leave the lesson confused.
