children and adults, business specialist After a first meeting to check your skills and have an intro discussion, we set up a plan to reach your goals, be they for exams, school, holidays, work or fun! I have various years of eperience teaching music and foreign languages all over London.
- I am now studying in Birmingham Conservatoire, and I give lessons from beginners to advanced levels. - For beginners to intermediate level I try to incorporate a range of activities in the lesson including singing, aural, sight-reading, and improvisations, to ensure that my pupil is more holistically trained and not restricted to just learning new the music.
My teaching method is friendly but focused. I aim to guide the individuals when needed and challenge them when appropriate. I encourage practise/homework but I believe the main focus should be on staying interested, motivated and challenged.
I provide piano lessons for all ages from beginners up to grade VIII standard. This may be your first time playing the piano and have always wondered how to approach learning your favourite song. On the other hand you may have already had lots of experience playing and you are seeking expert guidance on how to pass your music exams with high marks.
I have over ten years of experience teaching to all ages and abilities. My lessons are fun, friendly and effective – tailored to help you reach your goals. Due to my training at LIPA, I have an extensive knowledge of musical theatre and I put a strong focus on "acting through song". As well as this, I also am experienced in contemporary and pop singing.
Every time someone says they will teach you music, they are full of it. The best way to learn music is on your own, but since you can't I will guide, but mainly motivate you into doing so. The only way to truly excel in what you're passionate about is by putting in the effort yourself, but not everyone has the fanaticism I had when I learnt music.
I believe we are all musical, and it's just about finding those skills and bringing them out! We can work together finding pieces of music that you like, and I will show you how music actually works - it's really easy!! We'll start from the bottom and build your knowledge so that you can play what ever style you want. Jazz, Rock, Classical, Folk, Soul...
Having played in a wide variety of styles throughout my musical career, I am able to teach a range of genres in a number of different ways. My approach to teaching will always be moulded to the student. Whether that means focusing on the reading of music and progression through graded exams, or learning chord theory in order to play songs, compose and improvise.
I do not have one specific lesson method as I usually adapt according to the needs of my students. I plan the lessons as we go along, in line with their respective expectations and goals. I can teach following a given book if needed, just as I can prepare more spontaneous lessons. I am also able to teach music theory if need be. I am generally a very flexible teacher.
I use traditional vocal techniques and my extensive experience as an International performer as the basis for my teaching complimented by a fusion of contemporary vocal methods incorporating such styles as Pop, Jazz, Soul and Folk.
I like to cater each of my lessons to be individual to the student in question and adapt my teaching style accordingly. Students have the option to learn at any pace they feel comfortable with. Lessons are given in the comfort and familiar surroundings of your own home in and around the North East area that's a reasonable distance from North Shields.
Learning a musical instrument is about YOU. Each person is an individual and each person has a tailor made lesson schedule made especially for them. Each pupil comes from a different point in their development. I approach teaching on an individual level. I teach Piano/keyboard to beginners, violin to beginners, and singers from beginners to advanced.
I believe in an inclusive and adaptive approach to learning, and therefore will make small adjustments to his teaching methods to ensure that each student is fully engaged and able to improve. My students usual practice routines consist of scales, arpeggios, finger speed/strength exercises, pieces, and sight-reading. Music theory is also incorporated depending on the student’s ability.
My teaching method would be very much based on the ability and ambition of the pupil. I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit the pupil depending on whether they prefer a more relaxed style of learning or if they have a specific goal in mind - such as a song, or grade they want to aim for.
My teaching is based on an interdisciplinary methodology which extends peoples understanding of music. I use technology and improvisation as a main practical tool that helps my students understand more all the theoretical aspects of music. Ι strongly encourage them to compose their own music and express themselves through this highly creative process.
My teaching methods will vary according to the ages; I base my classes on the thing my students would like to learn and I will carry out the teaching plans; I approach each topic by introduce the general frame first then go through the details

As such, you can be assured that I will customise the lesson to match my teaching pace with your learning pace. And of course, we will learn your favourite songs too! Soon you might be composing your very own pieces.
I know each student has their own style of learning so adapt every lesson to each student with my own exercises. I teach Maths all the way up to GCSE level, Music up to undergraduate level and Piano up to grade 6.
I am able to give lessons to beginners and more experienced students and favour the simultaneous learning approach that encompasses aural, pieces and theory - this helps students to make connections between important musical concepts such as improvisation, performance, notation and scales.
