I am an aspiring Psychologist and would like to share my knowledge and passion for the subject with others. At AS Level, I achieved A* in Psychology and an A in Sociology - currently, with four months left, my predictions are the exact same.
I believe that good teaching and learning is based upon: 1) developing understanding of subject matter through critical thinking and enquiry 2) developing self-belief, self-confidence and self-expression 3) combining the above with independent study. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I work in most aspects of management and social sciences, from foundation degree to PhD.
"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn." - Which subject(s) do you teach? I primarily English up to A level and the 11 plus for entry to London day schools. I also have experience teaching maths up to age 11, having taught at a London prep school.
I teach all levels of students from all backgrounds, even with language difficulties. I can teach in groups aswell as individually. First an assesment is made according to their educational level and then targets are structured to act as guided plan. Alot of support is available at any time.

I am a veteran professional having graduated in 1974. I have taken many exams and I know how to pass in my chosen subjects. I am happy to help anyone who is keen to learn. I am based between Putney and Richmond - on 3 major bus routes and short walk from Barnes - Which subject(s) do you teach? Law History-all eras Economics. English as a Foreign language - Tell me about your qualifications.
I personally tailor my teaching to the needs of my pupils, ensuring that I am working on aspect of the course that they find particularly challenging. In most cases this is the topic of research methods or evaluating different psychological theories of research.
A happy student is a successful learner! I am a lecturer who has previously taught students at level 1 to level 4. I believe in interactive methods of teaching, incorporating digital teaching methods where ever possible. Rapport will be created to ensure that the lessons will be based on the students needs and desires.
I approach each topic using powerpoints and white boards, making sure my student is well interacted and understands before we move on.
During my time at University, I spent a significant amount.of time supporting and tutoring other students on my course. I enjoy being able to help other students and specialise in being able to link theory with practice. I am a mum of four children aged 3-11 and so spend a lot of my time supporting and enriching their learning at home.
My teaching methodology depends on the pace of the individual and what approach suits best for them. For example some may prefer reading out from a textbook and then breaking it down into simpler or understandable words followed by practical examples or using a presentation and delivering a lecture. Either way there is always a chance to ask questions and get concepts clear.
My teaching method involves approaching each topic and module through discussions, presentations, examples, case studies.
- Classes With most school classes packed with 25-30 children, it doesn't take a Maths genius to work out how much one-to-one time your child is going to get with their teacher per hour. Our class sizes are 9 maximum, with an average of 6. Or you can choose one-to-one. - Ages and Levels Covered We provide tuition for children between the ages of 4-18.
I have worked as a teacher's assistant at my Polish Saturday school helping children (8 years old) both individually and collectively with their reading and writing skills which evidently boosted their grades and satisfaction with their school work.
- Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach A-level and GCSE Psychology. - Tell me about your qualifications. I hold a BSc(hons) Psychology with Clinical Psychology. - How much do you charge? I charge £15 per hour. - Where do you teach? I'm flexible will travel to areas in Hillindon, Ealing and Brent. - When are you available? flexible.
My teaching method is one-on-one and selective. Prior to a session, I will ask the student to bring a list of topics that they feel like they need help with, which I will carefully go through, one by one. As an ex-GCSE student myself who attained almost all A grades or above, I can also provide study tips tailored specifically to the student.
My teaching methodology is much more excellent when am in class or when I talk to someone face to face

I am a PhD research student who has been tutoring for three years. I provide 1-1 tutoring sessions for undergraduate, postgraduate and AS/A Level Psychology. Sessions can be held either face to face or online to suit the needs of the student.
I have been tutoring all ages in Maths and English in person and online 3 years. I focus on positively encouraging and engaging students, focusing on improving grades and confidence. I also tutor psychology, science and history. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths and English from Key Stage 1 to GCSE. I also tutor 11+ maths, psychology, science and history.
- Classes Children follow a programme, the starting point being determined by an initial assessment. The basic programme is Maths & English - from number recognition to GCSE algebra. It includes topics such as shape, time, measurement, area/perimeter, series, etc. We will also help with applied topics as required.
I approach each topic chronologically from the book and as I do this, I also go through the specification, to make sure that you’re covering what the examiner is looking for.
I prepare notes for my students to take away and use for exam revision and also create lessons that are interactive and lots of discussions as well as practicing past exam papers. I give my students advice and tips on how to answer the more longer and complex questions as well as going through assignments given from colleges.
My method is by using more humorous ways to remember things and with repetition on these they have been proven to make memories last longer.
HI! I am doing now my second master's degree in clinical psychology. I am looking forward to helping people (High School, Undergraduate courses) with their understanding of psychology and social work subjects. There is no need for boring lectures because I know how it feels. I prefer interactive activities and dialogue.
My lessons will reflect GCSE or a level content and will flow along what the pupil needs help with.
I can offer extra support for students, breaking down any module in psychology, into a concise and easy to learn experience. I can do this through presentations, academic research handouts and enabling the student to gain familiarity with the modular content, through mock exam preparation and research skills enhancements.
Teaching is something that I have always enjoyed doing. It helps me connect with different students and influence their lives by helping them teach. I have worked with variety of age groups from primary to secondary to special needs. My teaching methods are customised depending on the needs of the student.
My teaching method is fundamentally collaborative. The pupil and I will identify the areas which need the closest attention and work together to create a comprehensive overview of their subject in accordance with the curriculum and exam specifications. The most important thing a pupil can take away from our sessions is a growing sense of confidence in their ability to master the subject.
Having only just finished sixth form, I am very familiar with how tedious GCSE and A-Levels can be.
