Given my recent degree achievement, I am more than capable (and confident) to tutor students up to the age of 18, however I have most experience with younger students (aged 9-14 years).
I base each of my classes on the curriculum according to the age of the student also I set a 1 to 1 session with each student to discuss their strengths and weakness within the subject. Once I have complied the necessary information , I create a personalised learning plan for each student. This learning plan will detail a week by week schedule which will cover all areas curriculum.
- Classes Tuition is provided in a small group of up to 5 children of different ages and abilities. Student-led: working to each student’s individual strengths and preferred learning style. In order to gauge this it is important to assess the student’s prior learning and their learning goals, using testing, questions and looking at their portfolio of work. Breaking down the issues they are facing so it doesn’t feel like a mammoth task in order to improve.
