My teaching method is mainly focused on following specification for exam boards and helping students hit the key points necessary to succeed in exams. Whilst it's important to focus on exam technique I also feel my enthusiasm and love for my subjects will help students to engage and enjoy topics they find challenging.

I am flexible and understand that everyone is different and learns at a different pace.

I can teach up to degree level. If appropriate, I would start my approach by examining the mark schemes and structure of the course the student is working for or I would simply ask the student what they wish to achieve from the lessons. I believe I work in a friendly and encouraging fashion, without being patronising.
My teaching methodology depends entirely on the person I am teaching. I will often plan lessons out according to the preferred method of learning of the student, be that audio, visual or written. I usually set work so that I can gauge a sense of where the writing needs improvement and plan lessons around that.
I give lessons from any age up to 16. A few of my other teaching highlights include: Continually facilitate an open, consistent, and nurturing learning environment where students are motivated to learn and driven by their own successes and accomplishments.
I am a student myself so understand how repetitiveness can be discouraging in a learning situation, I try to base my work on methodologies the student is comfortable with; using worksheets and a range of questions; with a main example at the top with a step by step guide, but gradually giving less step by step and just questions in a similar format to how the test will be based to help relax the...
My teaching method is bespoke to the student's individual needs and focuses on incorporating the four c's (communication, critical thinking, collaboration & creativity) into their lessons in order for students to reach their full potential. Furthermore, it's important that students can relax & have fun in my lessons.
I base my teaching on the student's level. I make sure I listen and take notes and make sure that the teaching and tutoring goes on the level of the student. It is important for me to make sure that learning is fun and does not have to be difficult.
I like to teach up to GCSE level English as I am still a student & received grade 9's in both of my English subjects. I like to ask the students what they're weak on, and begin to focus on that.
I can give lessons to any ages that need help with studying Classics or Theatre. I would structure a lesson with a range of academic and creative exercises to prompt different approaches to learning, with mainly active discussion, and the use of visual and online materials.
First I conduct an interview with the student in order to analyse his current level, objectives and preferences. Indeed, it is very important that the lessons are interactive and that the subjects studied are enjoyable. Then I build the courses to reach these objectives, the form of which can vary from one course to another depending on the objectives targeted.
I prefer a student based approach to teaching. I find out what areas they need to work on and structure my lessons around those points. I offer everything from assistance with grammar and word selection to textual analysis, essay plans, proof reading and feedback. I will offer advice up to degree level work.
My method revolves around building confidence in core presentation skills and English. Using close text analysis, something not expanded on until degree level to help make any text easy to grasp alongside how to use the gained knowledge to gain marks in an exam context. I aim to teach my students the skills to tackle any presentation or essay with extreme confidence.
Generally I set an assessment near the start of the lessons to ascertain the level of my student. From there, I create building blocks to start somewhere and always have a goal to work towards. I love seeing my students progress and do my very best to make sure they have fun while learning. Lessons range from focusing on reading, writing and comprehension to discussion and oracy about the texts.
Teaching methods are often divided into two broad categories, but i prepared to used the direct instruction method of teaching. This method I believe that I am able to provide more detailed and varied instruction. Instead waiting for my students to turn in their work, I am able to assess how well they grasp a concept while I am teaching it.
I try to make my lessons as fun and engaging as possible to make sure that children are motivated to learn. After learning a skill I like to apply it to the types of questions children will be asked during assessment so there will be no stress and they will be prepared when it comes to taking tests.
My teaching style involves going through the concept with the pupil and understanding where the problem lies, before deciding upon a way to tackle it. The student's method of learning comes first, and my teaching primarily revolves around how I can assess they would respond best.
My teaching reflects the needs of the student. If it is fun and hands-on you are looking for, I can provide this, but also, if there is a need for exam revision and a more serious tone, I can adapt to this as well. As I have experience in primary schools, as well as teaching English in summer camps and schools abroad, I enjoy finding unique strategies to tailor my teaching to your needs.
In order for my students to remain engaged I try to focus on student-centred active learning. Therefore, I vary my teaching styles depending on the nature of the topic. This leads to me encouraging and inspiring students to do their best at all times.
My teaching methodology, is learner centred learning finding a style and way that suits them. So if it means having a walk by a canal or up a hill to find out about the natural world for History or Geography or Science to being in a classroom researching information on the internet or from books.
Offering sessions to GCSE pupils Will proofread creative writing pieces and work with the student to improve them Past papers, essay marking and confidence building exercises I will encourage students to do their best and believe in their own potential. My teaching method is tailored to your strengths and weaknesses, following basic guidelines of your requirement and timeline each session will involve segments of clearing doubts, reviwing previous material and focusing on current task.
