My teaching method is a range of methods I can adapt my teaching style to any students learning style through engaging and fun activities.
In my teaching I mainly tend to follow the UK curriculum but a different approach can be used in case of adult or overseas learners. My methods are based on many years of practice and are pupil centred .
I like to take a relaxed and calm approach, because I think people learn best at their own pace and when they feel comfortable.
My teaching method is based around the child's needs and abilities. I base my lesson structure in a creative manner and follow up With a plenary.
My teaching methods are setting specific learning goals and reading over the aims of the lesson. After, this carrying out a starter activity, a main activity and then a plenary is done. At the end of the lesson, I ensure everybody has learnt something new and that they have understood the lesson properly.
I like to focus on my students main concerns and try different exercises with them until we find what works best for them. I like to start off with a basic lesson, then an interactive lesson, and then we complete a home made work sheet.
My approach to teaching is to make lessons fun and engaging by using a variety of resources and activities tailored to the individual needs of my students. I have a strong knowledge of synthetic phonics and have helped several of my pupils to make great progress with their reading skills and confidence.
I endeavour to teach each student according to their preferred learning style and encourage them to fulfill their maximum potential.
I make sure my lessons are engaging, relevant and fun for everyone. I cater for the individual and group with making the learning as memorable as possible top priority.
The classes that I taught varied from year 5 to year 7 students at school that struggled with English as a subject. My lesson structure consists of going through basic information and then allowing all students to express their own individual ideas.
I tutor for 9-15 year olds GCSE and IGCSE English language (OCR, AQA and Edexcel). Revolving my methods around your experience and knowledge of this vast language: I will build on your skills, teach you techniques and push your limits so you can attain the results equivalent to your potential.
Each lesson I give will be based on the individuals needs and goals which we can discuss and create a tailored plan of action to help you fulfil your potential! I am able to give lessons for English Literature and Geography up to A-level
All lessons are carefully prepared in line with specific exam boards and the needs of the individual. I welcome feedback from pupils so that I can adapt to best suit personal needs. I have a good sense of humour and believe I make sessions engaging but also varied and enjoyable.
My lessons are fun and creative.
I tailor my classes to the needs of the learner.
