I am flexible, adaptable, and open-minded. I aim to create a respectful, caring, and safe learning environment for my students. My teaching method is based on collaborative and student-centered learning in order to encourage my students to become natural inquirers.
I structure my classes around the needs of the students using creativity, imagination and heart. I can suggest tools to use to make learning easier.
My teaching methods are as follows: 1) Finding out the strength/weakness of each student 2) Designing my syllabus based on the student's needs I like to follow student-centered teaching model, where I and students play an equally active role in the learning process.
My teaching method is rigorous but approachable. I believe that in order to improve one's writing, a student must be held accountable for doing frequent, low-stakes writing assignments, which is why tutoring is the perfect space to grow.
Passionate about differentiated instruction to help all students learn in their own way. I like to teach with visual aids. My classes are based on respect and success, using a positive approach with structured lessons and flexible instruction. Teaching students Kindergarten to grade 10 in any subject area.

The study and interpretation of literature should be an opportunity to foster intellectual curiosity, sharpen critical thinking, and expand one's capacity for empathy through speculative discussion and writing exercises that are anchored in the details of the literary text.
I can help beginning readers develop skills in English literacy; whether they are children or adults. It is very important for beginning readers to understand the phonetical concepts involved. If they understand how words are built and can break them down into understandable segments, even unfamiliar words can be read with confidence.
My classroom is open to students from college-level to kindergarten! I start off with a consult to discuss problem areas; then follow-up with a plan of action to ensure success.
As an educator, I believe that students function best within educational settings when they feel respected, able to express their own individuality, and supported. With these priorities in mind, many of my lessons employ a specific chronological flow. Firstly, I dedicate a prominent amount of instruction time to introducing concepts and/or skill sets.
I try to gear my lessons to the needs and personality of the student. I am versatile and innovative and enjoy hands on, interactive learning processes.
I believe that learning should be fun and never intimidating, that is why I approach tutoring with a positive and encouraging attitude. I will utilize flash cards, work books, and creative play to ensure that the learning process is engaging and productive.
Over the past fifteen years, I have had the privilege of teaching many students: ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders in a small class or online setting. Each teaching experience has shaped the educator I am today, and my philosophy of teaching has subsequently evolved.
I adapt instruction to the learning style and needs of each individual. I incorporate fun games and activities to keep learning engaging and fun. I also keep learning meaningful and help students make connections during instruction by building on their prior knowledge and skills.
My teaching style includes assessing a student's individual needs and providing work that challenges them. I like to tailor a student's learning materials to their personality and interests as much as possible, such as creating assignments that incorporate a topic or something they enjoy, like a favourite TV show or sport, in order to keep their interest.
My approach to teaching is to be a learner myself. My first priority is figuring out what's important to my students and what obstacles are keeping them from reaching their goals. I strive to help my students master skills and become problem solvers, not just memorize steps.
My methodology is firstly I build a good rapport with my students and make them feel comfortable. I make them read the chapters thoroughly and then give them dictation from the particular chapter to build their vocabulary and improving their spellings. Then I proceed further with the question answers and exercises. Then prepare a proper test paper for them in later class.
I am an experienced teacher and tutor, with Masters of Teaching (Primary) and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) qualifications. My lessons are based around your need. I can help with a specific project or I can prepare general content to support you to excel in your areas of weakness and to build confidence.
My believe that in order to learn properly, it is important to include fun activities which encourage learning so the student does not become bored of studying. I also like to encourage learning by relating things taught at school to the real world so students understand the importance and purpose of the content they are getting taught.
English is not about memorization so what I want to develop is fundamental reading and writing skills that are essential for excelling in any subject in high school. My focus will be on how to write strong essays, how to break down English assignments and passages of literature to be more understandable.
My skills are best suited for high school students and first or second university students that are looking to excel in their studies. My approach is to work on current needs (i.e. sentence structure) and provide proved strategies for success at critical writing.
This class is for students who want to get ready for the endless assignments of uni life, academic writing, citation and even research methods would be thought.
First and foremost, I like to cater my lessons towards the individual student. Everyone learns differently, so I always try my best to work at a pace that I believe will provide my students with the best results. As an English tutor, I do like to provide students with different vocabulary words each session, so they can continue to develop their ability to express thoughts and ideas.
I have individually tutored 2nd through 8th graders in Math as well as working as a regular teacher for 8th grade Social Studies. My teaching method is engagement and accountability. I base my classes on learning should be fun. I approach topic by introducing relevance and pretext to inspire thinking. A great teacher is one who can inspires their student to think and ask why? Students should be made to feel free to actively express themselves which can also helps them to learn faster and absorb the moral.
My key is cultivating passion for writing and reading, to take time to perfect the craft such as essay and creative writing. I am a kind and willing teacher no matter the ability or skill of the student, i will be patient and encourage the child.
- I see what the student wants in our lessons - if they have specific needs for the lesson - I assess strengths and weaknesses and work with them to better the lesson - I try to keep things compelling and entertaining - a modern approach to things - experience with children with ADHD and autism
I approach the topic by raising some questions about the topic, then make them read their lesson, discussing and explaining the topic, enquiring whether they are able to understand difficult words and phrases in the chapter. The approach is very interactive. First I explain it to them then they will have to make me understand.I keep on stressing on the techniques of answering the questions.
The first meeting is partly diagnostic. I request students to bring a writing sample (anything they wish to work on!) and we discuss the students' concerns. After reading the sample, I determine which areas the student is struggling the most with.
I don't really have a teaching method yet since I haven't done this for a job yet. However, I hope to make learning English fun for the kids. I am a good speller and I want the kids to become good spellers too.
