I approach a topic by having to brainstorm all the ideas and thoughts that are needed to complete an essay. Essays are not the easiest things to write, but having the ability to spew different kinds of ideas allows the writer to scribble these ideas and organize them into coherent paragraphs; for a successful paper.
My teaching methodology is different from student to student. First I analyse the students capacity and knowledge level and then according to that I give my input to the students. I am teaching for students from standard 5 to 12 in both CBSE and State board.
I approach a topic by giving my student the chance to share his/her knowledge or opinion about the one in question and then elaborate on it till he/she gets the complete picture. It gives them a sense of importance and accomplishment.
I firmly believe that not all students learn the same. Students require differentiated teaching strategies in order to acquire a new skill in given subject area. My teaching method vary by subject taught, but I normally begin by understanding a student's area of need then moving forward to introducing a couple of strategies that can support the student in meeting their goal.
I prefer to teach with authentic sources to develop students' oral and written comprehension and put them in direct contact with the true French language. I prefer active teaching that puts the student at the center of it. During a class we will work on a resource that can be a video or a text, understand it globally then in a more refined way.
I tailor my class according to the learning abilities of the student. If a student is weak in English language skills, I can teach them in Hindi also. I explain in detail so that the student does not face any difficulty in understanding.
I like to take each student, assess their needs and build my lessons around their most critical needs first. The student-centered approach is where I am able to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material, and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessment, like group projects, student portfolios, and class participation.
My teaching methodology is based on the student, the way a student can grasp knowledge easily. Also, I like to offer the knowledge in a more practical way so that students can retain it for longer periods in their minds.
I am a first year medical student at WSU (absolutely loving it btw) and studied two years of a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Medical Science at UTS before this. My experience in multiple disciplines has provided me invaluable insight into the world of humanities and sciences.
I believe in making the student understand the topic with practical examples and focus on completing the syallabus way before time to give the practice space. I also try to prepare regular tests to check the preparation of the student . I converse in English and Hindi as per the comfort of the kid.
I do not have pre-planned lessons. While I do prep for my students in advance, each plan is specially tailored to best meet the students needs. Students are not empty vessels, each person has a wealth of knowledge on the inside whether they know it or not. As an educator, it is my responsibility to observe, guide and help lead that student to become better than they imagined.
My goal is to help students reach the "a-ha!" moment, especially if there is something they have really been struggling with. I use a holistic approach, drawing connections across various subjects to help students understand; and incorporate a number of techniques, including hands-on, repetition, movement, art/craft, music, technology.
If there is one thing that I have learned over the last few years, it is that each student has a different way of learning. It is up to me to help them figure out what that is and play to those strengths.
Writing is an crucial skill in any field. No matter what you do, you have to be able to communicate to others why it matters. I approach my writing lessons by finding out how writing applies to your interests. For k-8 students I like to structure each lesson around a topic and, from there, explore the different ways writing helps us to understand it.
I am a part time student, and a full time business owner, who tutored and continues to tutor students in need of help when it comes to the English language. I have completed EARLY college level English courses, and I am willing to tutor anyone at these levels or lower.
I have a passion for writing and reading that can apply to any age group. My teaching method is tailored to each individual student as much as possible. Everyone learns a bit differently after all! In terms of delivering information and advise, I am direct and straightforward.
I am a high school senior currently dual-enrolled at a local college. I provide tutoring for K-11 grade in essay writing and proofreading, vocabulary, grammar, SAT and AP English test preparation, reading, and more.
My teaching method is based on how the student can improve their understanding of the given topic and flourish with their writing skills.
I am currently a middle school teacher who is transitioning to high school. I have a degree in English literature with a focus on Old English. I use a variety of methods in my instruction. I use more project-based learning and lesson teacher-led instruction. However, I do from time to time deliver direct instruction where students are expected to take notes.
My teaching method would primarily depend on the comfort and learning style of my student. However, I emphasize a thorough understanding of the text material.
I teach my students according to their comfortable learning pace. Before progressing further, I ascertain that what I taught the previous session has been thoroughly grasped or not; if there is any need, I revise the lesson. I emphasize reading out loud and lot of writing to induce the confidence within students.
My teaching method is very interactive. Especially as am I teaching a language, I encourage my students to talk with me a lot, since the best way to learn a language is through its frequent usage.
My teaching method is based mostly on my students' needs and of course lots of exam practise to get my students comfortable and confident when they finally sit for their exams.
Choosing a learning platform that works best, whether it's verbal, visual, written, or discovery method. By structuring a program that fits the student's learning style, together we can accomplish the goals we set together and reach success.
My teaching methodology is to approach each student where they are and go on from there. I use as much of my students' prior knowledge as possible and build on it. It's important that my students do the work themselves. I am just the facilitator, there to guide my students through the maze of academics.
I believe expressing one's own way in imparting the knowledge than structuring it and making someone understand the nuances which the students already know. I believe Learning goes hand in hand with Expression which needs to be explicitly interacted and delivered.
My teaching methods are based on live examples. Interactive sessions for better understanding and daily activities for better grasping.
My lessons are highly customised to the individual I teach in order to make the experience as rewarding as possible. Both short-term and long-term goals will be set at the beginning of the lessons with the intention of completing these goals over the tutoring period. Frequent check-ins will ensure we are on track to reaching your goals.
Teaching how to take notes and what key things to pay attention to that will come up on quizzes, exams and essays. I love research papers so I can help with studying and picking areas to expand on or how to bring in related topics to extend the paper. I can read papers and leave comments on how to change or how to improve it.
Teaching is most effective when a student is engaged, and I have seen the positive results of compelling subject material on student performance. I am a strong advocate in allowing students to pursue their passions through different avenues within the classroom, and use their interests as a jumping point in order to branch out into English areas of study.
