I usually start with a thorough diagnostic assessment . I also like to find out what interests students have so that I can plan lessons around them individually as far as possible. If it were literacy I would usually do a Woodcock assessment. For other writing/ reading skills I would ask for an essay to look at to get me started on where "gaps" in understanding or skills lie.
An educator must facilitate an environment that fosters a sense of safety and security, both physically and emotionally, while acknowledging all students as individuals with brilliant thoughts and compassionate hearts who deserve the opportunity to learn all that is available to them.
I would like to get to know my student first because that will help me to prepare my lessons.e.g. whether my student can work for a full hour then take a break or whether my student needs a break every 30 minutes. To begin, I would usually start with asking the student if he/she have any homework or assignments that may be due soon so we can work through it.
My teacher methods will be tailored to each individual students. I encourage students to make connections to the material in order to develop a deeper understanding. I try to make things as fun as possible during a lesson, while still maximizing learning time.
My approach is based on meaningful learning, where I am a guide for the student, valuing more their productive capacity rather than highlighting their mistakes in the process. I worry about promoting learning environments oriented to the interest in knowledge.
I tailor learning to meet individual student's needs. First I gather as much information about a student as possible, using records, testing, interviews, portfolio statements, parent information and behaviour/work habits checklists and anecdotals.
My teaching method is personal and caring. The most important person in the room will always be the student; this is an idea that has guided the entirety of my tutoring and teaching career.
My teaching method is to approach a concept from where the student's understanding is clearest, to build a firm understand from the foundation up. I love empowering students and helping them to realise their own potential, helping to build a brighter future.
My teaching method is hands-on, engaging, and as real-world applicable as possible. Lessons are age-appropriate, vary based on the student, and are crafted for their specific learning style. I believe learning should be fun and should bring out the creativity in every learner.
I tailor my classes to the curriculum of every individual student, working on the key skills and constantly referring to the rubric and criteria.
There is no greater gift than the gift of knowledge. You will see my passion for learning, education, and helping students grasp the material they are learning from the first time we meet.
My teaching includes descriptive methods. It is based on interactive sessions, where, to get the maximum output, a discussion is organized and different viewpoints are carried forward. Also applying Bridging technique where the students' prior knowledge is tested with the concerned concept and then the session is carried on forward.
I approach each topic by offering new approaches and examples. In academic writing, I have experience teaching the frame case method. I like to try and show students how much fun writing can be and how to interject a part of themselves into their writing.
I am a teacher who is comfortable working one-on-one or in small groups. I value the theory of Lev Vygotsky which puts emphasis hands-on learning and group collaboration. I provide clarification as needed and work with the student to assist them in coming to an answer.
I strive to make learning fun and engaging through the use of props, games and creativity. I am not only able to tutor in reading, but in math as well. I will meet the student right where they are in their learning and will get them to the next level academically.
English is not the spoken language in most Indian households. Hence vocabulary of English words is only introduced to most children when they start school. Yet again, English is a language which has 26 alphabets out of which 42 phonic sounds are formed through different permutation and combination of the alphabets which needs guidance of specialized teachers.
My lessons are really simple: Reading texts, comprehending them, then answering questions and writing about them. Nice and basic lessons to build the most important skills of English, literature, reading and writing. I also build confidence and self-esteem in my students.
My classes are aimed at people with difficulties of verbal and written expression (of all ages and genres) who want to improve in both aspects. We will go through the grammar, but the focus will be on textual production, we will write until you become familiar with that art. Reading also we learn, but we have to learn to read.
I can teach simple and understanding way to the students what ever they require. With their need and their requirements I can teach to them simple and a good method to pupils knowledge and requirements. So plz can u show.
