I cater my approach to each person because everyone has different ways of learning. I know that many students hate a tough grader, and if I am truly honest, I can be strict in my critique and feedback. However, I will make sure that it is only for the benefit of my students, and not at the expense of their overall self-esteem.
My teaching method is based very heavily on the Swedish method, where independent interests of the student shapes the topics of the lessons we work through.
I base my lessons on the needs of my students- I focus on using Reading and Writing Workshops methodology, and use material that generates high student engagement. My lessons consist of collaborative and independent work, with a focus on inquiry into topics of study. I work at an Inter Baccalaureate school, so student inquiry is a main pillar of our lessons.
I will give lessons to anyone who is willing to put in the work to get better. I will teach by giving the student tools that help them improve their writing. Then I will give them significant feedback and edit their papers thoroughly.
My teaching methods focus on improving academic performance, improving occupational skills, or preparing for academic or occupational tests. The lessons are catered to each individual student as I recognize that every child learns and progresses in their own way so the method in which we learn should take that into consideration.
I use a student-centered approach, beginning with what students know about their own learning styles and experiences as well as their goals. I add my expertise and teaching experience to create the best individualized approach for each student. I rely on feedback from the student to make sure that we are using the most effective approach.
The method I use in teaching is determined very largely by certain givens such as the learning styles of my students and their needs and wants. I do not impose in methodology under whatever conditions. Of course there is a technique which I prefer over others: "the flipped classroom". I really like for my students to take the lead and discover new things on their own.
I try to make my lectures engaging, accessible and relatable, and use a variety of media. Since every student learns differently, I try to offer a variety of ways for them to excel, including watching films, writing reflection papers, interesting and applicable reading materials, and extra credit options.
My teaching methods are based on building relationships with my students and making connections between the real world and subjects taught in school. My lesson structure is simple: thought provoking intro, I demonstrate the skill/concept I want the students to learn and then I will assist them in mastery.
Students are often treated like drones, expected to all learn the same way. Unfortunately, students are not all the same. I treat my students as they should be treated: distinct individuals complete with their own ways of learning. No child is alike, so it follows suit that no learning style is alike. I make sure to pay attention to their needs and quirks and tailor my tutoring to fit them.
I am willing to teach students from the ICSE board, between classes 1 to 6. I have myself been a student of the aforementioned board and hence have a clear idea of what the academics demand. I approach the one on one teaching technique which ensures every child getting my full undivided attention. This also ensures the teaching structure for that class to be specifically designed for the child.
My teach method is to not go too challenging and let them go more at their own pace. I will make them feel very comfortable trying to learn unlike at school and maybe being picked on. I taught my brother and he is top of his class.
In order to increase results, or acquire a better understanding of the subject your student needs tutoring in, I believe setting out short term and long term goals, are necessary for success. Through these goals we can acquire a greater sense of achievement through education.
Some say that student motivation to learn has dwindled in the past years and students from this generation lack the desire to learn. I disagree, I believe it is not the students who are at fault for creating this kind of learning atmosphere but the teachers instead. Educating students is all about execution.
I help students to read and write English without committing grammatical errors, difficult words will be pointed out and I encourage students to find the contextual meaning within the paragraph.
I take pride in having a relaxed classroom. I found through my student teaching and internship that students respond better to instruction when the students enjoy the class. Choosing literature and activities that students enjoy and can engage with creates an atmosphere that allows students to achieve at a high level.
My teaching method is to explain the concept with clear instructions, encouraging questions, and then to provide a practical activity to consolidate the student's learning. Going through the students work together as I offer constructive feedback is an ideal learning situation. I cater to all learning styles and will adapt as needed.
I try to help students apply what is being taught in lesson to their everyday lives as much as possible. I have been teaching middle school English for 7 years. I try to keep lessons engaging with things like music as well.
I work closely with students and clients to help them draft an essay, assignment for school, personal statement, or CV etc. Through Skype and Google docs, we collaborate on making writing into a polished and professional piece of work. Please contact me for references.
I prefer to tutor children 7th grade and younger, as that is the curriculum i am comfortable with and where my experience lies. I usually run my lessons as follows; - first, we would start with guided instruction, I would model and provide thorough examples. During this time the student would be taking notes and observing.
My teaching method is based on working hand in hand with the students, to see what their shortcomings and strengths are. I will help them improve the difficulties they may have with the subject but focusing on them solving the tasks.
Modeling and practice are the keys to teaching and learning. I try to describe my thought process to my students as I model the skill they need to learn; then it is their turn, and I ask them to always be conscious of how and why they are doing what they are doing (i.e. writing) so they can explain it to me later.
I first evaluate the student's strengths and weaknesses and create an individualized learning plan. I also discuss with the student what his/her's goals are. I focus on teaching structure, organization and testing skills as well as self-confidence. I believe these skills will not only lead to academic success but life success as well.
I teach a topic and then take exam the very next day before starting a new.. It helps students to memorize it properly. I do take weekly tests and help students to complete their studies as far as possible in front of me.
My teaching method is basically aural, translative , gramatical approach. These strategies are determined partly on subject matter to be taught and partly by the nature of the learner. The approaches for teaching can be broadly classified into teacher centered and student centered.
It is through my love of phonics and unique teaching style that I am able to help students perfect and become fluent in one of the hardest languages in the world.

I can teach elementary up through high school aged students. I prefer to show students how to do something, or present them with an example, then see if they are doing it correctly and offer constructive criticism or do it with them depending on their level of understanding of the assignment.
My teaching is methodologically individualized: I teach to the student's need, depending on age, background, and objective. Generally, though, if you want to learn to write better, it is useful to read as much as possible and as well as possible. Writing requires practice and patience, but it also requires soaking up good writing. We read, we write, we live.
I approach topics like conversations using relevant examples and I change the language based on their age. I always make sure to leave the lesson on their favourite topic. My lessons are geared towards children who are starting out with tutors and students who may be shy or have reservations about tutoring.
