I like to base my teaching around the students I.e some learn better by visual help, some may not. I realise that teaching is better when it is centred around the student and their individual needs. I would work better giving classes to 11+ year old students.
I tend to fit my teaching to the type of learner your child is. Whether they are a kinstheitc, auditory or visual learner I can adapt my style for what works best. I try to teach a 40/60 proportion of skill and knowledge depending on the age range.

What are the student’s goals? What does the student find difficult? Do particular areas need attention (e.g., for exams?) The first session will assess preexisting knowledge, and from there I will produce a plan with the student on areas to be worked on.
I like to approach each lesson differently to make sure the pupils stay interested. I do this by using various techniques for remembering information, as I am dyslexic myself I am knowledgeable of all the different ways to learn information. I like to approach my lessons in a more active way as I feel pupils or more likely to remember thingsif there is a story behind it.
I like to support children in their best way of learning. If they learning better at reading, we can do this, practical - offer extra calculations etc. I take in to consideration learning speed and offer full support where necessary on subjects they struggle with most. If they need more time, we can do this.
I strive to build a student's confidence so they can learn how to become successful without self-doubt. I apply a growth-mindset to my lessons so students will persist in achieving outstanding results. With lower level students, I give them a realistic view of what they can hope to achieve and the tools needed to get there. I also place importance on revision techniques and tips.
I teach 11+ Creative Writing, helping students to organize and structure their ideas, plots, how to develop action and build up suspension and how to reach a satisfactory solution.
I tutor all primary pupils for all general subjects (English, Maths, Science, Handwriting, religious Studies). My teaching method is to start off by sharing my passion for learning. Making learning seem fascinating and not 'boring'. I want my student’s voice to be heard more than my own. This allows my students to not tune out and lose interest.
I create a positive learning environment where students can feel safe to learn, explore and grow in confidence and knowledge- I am totally student centred and can teach to a student's strengths using VAK amongst other approaches. I create and deliver Indivdual Learning Plans built on baseline assessments, which then allow me to focus just on the areas necessary for improvement.

Hello! The way that I will teach will be specified from lesson to lesson, with teaching the specifics of how to write well and creatively - not literature or such whilst these skills can help intensely with things such as CV writing and becoming a better, more interesting person (not that you're already not, of course.

- Classes Every student has a programme that is built just for them. They concentrate on getting to grips with topics that they are covering in school whilst also working on a parallel thread that is put together to fill any gaps that may exist in their core skills. * The MagiKats programme supports the National Curriculum. * More than tutor 'hot-housing' and more than learning by rote.
I like to tailor my teaching style to the child. All children learn in a unique and beautiful way, and I hope to help them surpass the sometimes shallow-minded teaching that occurs in schools. I am personally a visual learner, but know how to tailor my lessons to aural, verbal and physical learners also.
My teaching method is to start at the bottom and work our way up. Different strategies work for different people; the key to success is find what works for you! Through practice papers, revision and general work you will soon gain an sense of understanding and confidence to succeed in education and build the skills you require thereafter.
I find that working with an individual at their own pace and level is the best way for a student to learn their subject without the pressure of feeling they are behind their class mates. I will work with a student at which subject and level they need support with. I have experience of working with students with A.D.H.C and Autisim. I am very patient and approachable.
