I am happy to teach anyone who is willing to learn. I pride myself on having a teaching style based around whichever student I have. I excel at looking at texts from a different perspective and making even the driest of subjects seem interesting.
I tailor each class to every student, and make lists of goals they would like to achieve in the time we work together. I like to be creative with my classes so mix poetry, creative writing, podcasts, grammar, but ultimately reach the student's desired goals.
I have worked 1:1 and in small groups, getting to know children and helping them to identify they gifts. I have used this rapport to help them develop problem solving skills. I have experience working on all primary subjects and preparing children for national tests.
My approach to teaching is a very innovative one. I involve a number of activities in my lessons in order to make learning fun and my aim is also to promote communication from the learners. I constantly test the latter throughout my teaching via both formative and summative assessments and my long-term goal is to attain excellence.
My teaching method depends on what works best for the student. Every individual is different and learns differently. If I were to teach a group, I would combine visualisation, cooperative learning and inquiry-based instruction in order to help each student succeed.
My approach will depend on the group or the individual I'm teaching - I'll do a SWOT and analyse your learning need and we shall work on that together.
I give lessons to Primary, KS3 and GCSE students, mostly in English and Maths. The majority of my lessons are one-to-one but I do give group lessons on occasion.
While I was teaching the PE lessons that I have in the best, the way I did this was to learn the ways the children learnt. I would do a couple of lessons with different structures and the ones in which the children engaged the most and got the most out of is the ways I would carry my lessons on.
I would like to build a method that would help with improving the students language skills, that differs as each is unique and have different grasping abilities.By that I would like to focus on each students weakness, like some may have poor reading skills while others may suffer with poor spelling skills.
My teaching method is aimed at entry level University students and those within Further education. Lesson styles: Auditory through Skype conversations and/or Read and write - Highlighted annotations for corrections. Methodology: Will review submitted work using the Homonym check and the Paramedic method.
I base my teaching methods on flexibility and adaptation to the individual child. Each child is different and learns in different ways. I have a strong belief that everyone has the potential to learn if given the right access and guidance.
My teaching method is very much like those in school. I teach spelling and creative words, poetry, story writing and creative writing. I also teach 'How to improve your chances of employment'. I have never experienced any issues with things such as important documents and applying for work.
I base my teaching on what the student thinks they need to work on. Once I know what they feel needs improvement I will seek out the resources that they need. The student leads the teaching.
My name is Kevin Crookes and I have over 16,000 connections on social media. I have given lessons to children from the age of 5 to 18. My technique is to keep it simple understandable and easy to learn in a comfortable atmosphere.
By developing simple yet effective lesson plans and extracurricular activities to help further students strengthen writing and literacy skills, I have helped numerous students achieve greater success on English exams, produce stronger essays and creative writing, and raise reading levels. On average, my students gain more than 3 levels of progress on their class grades throughout the school year.
classes are tailored for each individual student, be it a beginner to advanced. I speak with a BBC London accent. I have a set of IELTS books & can also teach English as it is spoken (colloquial & slang) if the student is coming to the UK to live or study.
I am able to teach one-on-one or in groups, and make lessons enjoyable and engaging with younger students. I will regularly monitor progress, and where suitable provide homework to ensure effective results. My experience as a tutor allows me to effectively engage with a variety of students and offer a wealth of resources to a number of subjects.
I base my classes on my knowledge from my A-Levels, knowing exactly what examiners expected of students. I create a very relaxed and friendly environment built on mutual respect. I have a different approach to teachers, I am straight to the point with what is needed in essays and exams.
I have a program made of personalised exercises and lessons. I pay attention to each student's best way of learning and then make the most of it by being flexible. I mostly use recent references such as the news to work on the grammar while learning about the world. I sometimes give "homework" such as writing tasks to keep on the progress students are making.
I aim to be friendly and approachable, so the students feel comfortable to ask questions. I believe everyone has potential to achieve as long as the work is put in with the right guidance. So I will work my hardest to motivate, encourage and support.
I can teach children from age 5 with literacy skills and reading as well as GCSE students studying English Literature and Language. A level students for English Literature. I have a particular interest in tragedy, post modernism and political and social protest writing. I am enthusiastic and passionate about English, I use multi media such as videos and books to teach as well as film.
I specialize in giving lessons to year 6's and below. I have more experience working with individual students rather than in a large group because my qualifications do limit my ability to work with a larger group.
Patient teacher that will adapt their methods and approach to suit the students needs. Targeted approach within each lesson to ensure the students goals are achieved. Happy to provide lessons in person or online via webcam. Flexible on timings, evenings, weekends etc.
my teaching method is based on your pace. My student will first read, and then I will note down the mispronunciations, and correct them. I teach primary, high school, secondary school, and degree level. Am very patient with my students .
I teach through Social media (skype/vlog) and one to one sessions. I carry out my own research first and ensure that the students understand the work as they are going along in order to help them achieve their goal. I can teach a broad level of students from GCSE, 11+ & A level and university and preperation for work.
I like to teach through interactive resources and games. For children this engages their interest and a hands on approach helps to build better memory and recall of knowledge. I always tailor my lessons to the children's interests, to make sure we engage them fully in the subject.
Being a student that tutors other students, I understand what it's like to be in education. Not everyone has the same approach to learning and that's why I cater my lessons to your specific needs. If there are certain ways you like to learn then we will revolve the lesson around that approach.
I like teach pupils through engaging with their likes and learning style. I am firm yet fun in my approach and believe that boosting confidence in a subject they are struggling in is the best way to help somebody improve.
My teaching methodology is highly interactive. I like to allow my students to lead on their own learning by determining the areas which they would like to focus on in order to fill gaps in their learning.
