With an extensive background in the SEN sector, I ensure that my bespoke lessons fulfill a range of learning styles and nurture the student to achieve to the best of their ability. My strategies have been developed alongside SENCOs and Educational Psychologists and are aimed at yielding measurable results with a focus on putting the enjoyment back in to learning.
I believe that education must arise from inspiration. I intend to make lessons for my students intensely immersive, organised and fun. School education lays the foundation on which a student bases his life upon. I aim to solidly strengthen that base by ensuring that the basic fundamentals of education are learnt in a way that students will remember their entire life.
I approach lessons on a one to one student basis, by informal assessment. I like to discover strong and weak points and work on both, and keep motivation strong working out what works best and personal interests. Lessons plans are individually tailored around achievements, interests and targets.
I tailor my classes dependant on my pupils and ability. I want all ability's to access the national curriculum and learn at the same level using different approaches to learning. That may include having many practical resources available to help with tasks and visual learning. I will be Starting from basic English language Assessment reading and writing.
What's the point of learning? I believe it is to know what to do when you need to find out or figure out a problem.
My teaching methodology is to identify each pupils' strengths and weaknesses in order to target their potential and work on that. Every child is different thus it is vital to teach every child differently in order to maximise their grades.
My teaching method is a combination of auditory and visual teaching. I like to read into what the student is learning in class, and be able to get a good grasp of exactly what they need to know. While doing so I will ask questions to discover the students strong suits and the areas that need more work.
The best teachers are passionate, enthusiastic and driven by their own subject. I want to infuse my students with a curiosity for the subject and allow them to see how it relates to their own life at a larger level. There is no wasted knowledge or wasted education - everything is useful and develops certain skills, interests, or teaches you about yourself in some way.
I am known for personalising work to get a greater interest and understanding for each individual. I thoroughly enjoy doing this and love seeing the positive results. Students and parents would say I am a fun, approachable teacher who cares about his students and the results.
My teaching method is based on interaction, patience, practice, and repetitiveness. I give English( grammar, reading, comprehension and writing) and Biology( pathology, biology, clinical medicine) lessons to children in high school. As a teacher, I am very patient, attentive, fair, fun and passionate.
My teaching method depends on the subject and student, but I will go through by explaining any concepts that need clarifying, and then working through examples of that concept.
I offer lessons one to one as well as in group lessons. I have the latest resources and push my student to the best they can. I’ve been tutoring for 3+ years and the majority of my student pass there 11+ and do well in there exams.
I am used to teaching students between the age of 5 and 15 and aim to tailor my approach to the individual. I am patient and methodological in my manner and work hard to ensure the content of my lessons is clear and broken down appropriately.
Lots of my work is based around creative writing, as this is the best way to put concepts into practise. I like to find organic ways of thinking through whatever grammar issue or structural element my student is finding difficult.
I am wholly committed to student-led teaching (even when that means that I take the lead because the student is unsure of how they would like to move forward). What this means in practical terms, though, is that I work to get to know the needs of the individual student and I prioritize meeting those needs during each session.
I am currently 17 years old. I have given lessons in higher English, biology and hospitality as well as giving lessons for these subjects at national 5. I have a passion to find ways to help students find memorising for exams easier. This can include flash cards, mind maps and oral reviews.
I like to make sure my students are active in their learning, and so I ask questions throughout teaching to make sure the students knowledge is being consolidated. I also like to plan my lessons in advance in order to ensure efficiency for the student.
I focus on the 9-1 Mark Scheme as, obviously, we need to be fully aware of what the examiners are looking for! Lessons need to interesting and energizing, consolidating student's strengths and working on improving any areas they are not so sure of - all the time working on increasing confidence.
My teaching methods are tailored to the individual student and the subject itself. Generally, it is important to engage the students and making sure the lesson is fun... otherwise they do not tend to learn. As well, ensuring that while students who need help get the help, also ensuring that students at the top get the extra push.
My teaching method is engagement. A student has to see the connection between the subject or subject matter and themselves in order to develop or deepen a passion and interest and so discussion and so 1 to 1 teaching is extremely beneficial.
My teaching method is totally child-centered. At first i explain the whole topic, i tell them to read again and ask if they have any doubt.I prefer to give total freedom to my students to express their own imagination and thinking about each topic.Teaching is a process of learning,so i tell them to explain it as if they are teachers.
My method is eclectic and fun. From project based learning to hands on, conversational methods. Each student is approached in a different way and with a lot of patience and care. The lessons are engaging and fun with a good dose of grammar and sentence structure corrections.
My teaching method includes engaging learners. I have worked with SEN and EAL pupils. I am currently completing a Masters in Education and Leadership in which I am exploring how learning can be developed and challenged. I use effective questioning and provide resources which stretch and challenge learners.
My teaching focuses more on younger students and adults at beginner level. I have often times used various exercises to introduce the subject and get a feel as to what the student can do. I will provide set literary texts if wanted or I can adapt to specific texts that the student is studying although I will have to know in advance.
To achieve top marks in English I have realised how important it is to take things one step at a time, my aim is always to focus on specific parts that you need to improve and attack it from different angles to ensure that you have learnt it in a way that you will not forget, training your brain in certain ways make it so much easier to take in a lot of information yet still be able to put it...
My teaching methods include - Brainstorming - if you are a visual student -I have creative methods of revision which have really helped me in exams - i.e pictograms, color codes etc, past papers and examiners comments, class discussions. I am a very energetic and enthusiastic person who has a real passion for knowledge.
I am a young student In secondary that would like to help infants and juniors in primary.
My teaching method is to do a brief overview and then to go into further detail. I try to use different methods for myself as well as advising others. If there is any reason as to why I cannot reach you, I will try my hardest to provide you with homemade quizzes as well as other resources.
As I have had experience in teaching students in secondary school, especially on the topic of English, I intent to give lessons to students who are in primary or secondary school currently. The techniques and methods of instruction cannot be consistently maintained throughout each lesson as each student would require something specific as to their needs and issues on a particular subject.
My name is Callum Hardwick and I am currently in my third year of studying English and Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow. I am comfortable teaching from primary-secondary levels and I aspire to attain a TEFL + CELTA qualification subsequent to completing my degree. I am a grade-A student, and while I would not say I am particularly intelligent, I definitely know HOW to study.
