My preference is year 11 and below for both English and Music, as those are the ages I have helped before. I approach teaching perhaps a little differently to most... I don't believe that every person should be taught the same way. I teach in a way that allows the student to feel as though they are a person with individual needs. Below you will find one of the covers I have done singing.
I tutor children of primary school age. Ibase my lessons on the individual needs of the child I am tutoring. Usually I focus on maths, reading and spelling, punctuation and grammar. I have a relaxed style of tutoring and I use my keen sense of humour to get the best from my students.
I tutor from home in Heckington Lincolnshire, but can do online tuition too. I work afternoons and evenings. I initially assess what help is needed, then set targets for us to work on each session. I work up to ks4.
I approach each topic by finding a point of interest for the student that encourages independent learning and enjoyment of the topic.
I use accurate assessment to determine exact areas of need for my teaching. I will then work with the student to develop a programme of teaching tailored to their educational needs as well as their personality and interests, allowing learning to be both challenging and fun.
I love learning and listening, we will be on this journey of education together. We will treat each other with the upmost respect and handle each topic with care and a great level of detail using play, discussions and bags of enthusiasm. I am Nottingham based NG15 - and will travel.
Aim to make sessions fun, relaxed and stimulating with you gaining confidence in your abilities. Sessions are based on what you currently understand and what your targets are. I encourage positivity and reflection on achievements.
I am a firm believer in whole, part, whole. Look at the task as a whole then break it down into it’s constituent parts. After solving the individual parts bring them together to create the whole again and have a greater understanding. For example when learning to spell. Look at the word as a whole.
My best teaching method is always topic based learning. Whatever topic a child maybe learning, the child is emerged wihin the topic through the different subjects (for example, teaching science light and sound, teach measurement of how far a light can travel in a straight line whilst being reflected/bent.
My teaching method is examining the student and focussing on the weaker areas and making sure the stronger areas still remain strong. I approach each topic precisely and in detail and teaching the student in the way that suits them.
Basically, the most important thing to start learning a language is to know words and meaning. I approach my teaching by reading a short story, then find the difficult words by students , then make the example of the each word in sentence. That is how the brain function to remember the words and exercise.
The teaching methodology is dependent on the type and age of those who are seeking to take the English class. Classes given to children are more interactive, include activities and visual interaction with material in order to learn without getting bored. As classes given to adults will include listening, reading and writing.
I am an English graduate offering lessons for students up to university level. My lesson stucture will vary based off of what or how the students respond best to; my methods of instruction will be flexible, solely depending upon the student.
My teaching methodology is practice ! To learn a language is essential to practice it, especially for new vocabulary. To do it I like to encourage my student to do role play. I practiced theater for 5 years and it's really helping in the learning of a new language.
My lessons are geared towards GSCE, A Level, or undergraduate students looking to improve their essay writing skills. My lessons will be structured around approachable writing tasks for practise. For literature students, I will provide relaxed exercises in practical criticism.
mi método de enseñanza es mucho hablar jugar preguntas y respuestas ejercicios practicos ver videos escuchar canciones compresión de textos audio hacer exposiciones escritos con cada temas conversaciones siempre me adapto en lo mejor enseñanza métodos que ellos se sienta conforme y pueda ver los resultados a poco tiempo
I have a great passion for teaching English. I practice communicative approach and offer logical explanations of grammar and vocabulary. I recommend self-study techniques and closely monitor your progress, so you can achieve great results. Try your first lesson for free.
I am a positive, enthusiastic and easy going individual with a passion for teaching and have taught in the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a range of inner London schools. I am a qualified play therapist as well registered with PTUK and the tutors association. - Which subject(s) do you teach? English, Maths, Science - Primary school level - EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and help transitioning into secondary school.
My teaching method is a hybrid style encompassing both subject delivery and facilitation. my tutoring is tailored to assessment writing and dissertation for a science-related subject at university level. I believe in critical thinking and literature preparation, reading and understanding before writing an assesment.
My teaching method is very fun and thoughtful and suitable for all ages and education levels which include set tasks that could include watching a snippet of a relevant youtube video to a fun scenario for you to get creative with and expand upon as a student of creative writing.
Teaching at its best is helping each student to grow in confidence, proficiency and love for the subject. (And yes, I am more than ready to prove to budding scientists that being a star at English will lift them above their peers!) I work with individuals and small groups, typically planning four session blocks around specific areas of focused improvement.
My teaching methods vary from client to client based on their needs. For those approaching GCSE's I am able to focus on the curriculum work they are studying and ways to approach their exams and revision.
I am a freelance tutor, teaching those who like to improve on their hobbies alongside those who study creative writing degrees. My methods are casually answering questions and working with my student/students to tackle certain topics they would like learn themselves. I am fun and laid back, so don't stress! Unwind and learn your favourite subject at ease.
I will set reading tasks at different levels to see where the pupil is working at and if they are needing exam prep then I would also set this up for the pupil to practise as homework or lesson tasks depending on timing.
My teaching method is to discuss the student's ability and what subject area they are finding difficult in advance of a lesson. I then source material to enable me to teach the student and boost their confidence and ability in the subject.
As a tutor I would cover each topic thoroughly and explain the key concepts of the topic to a student. I will then solve some example questions for them , and once I feel they understand the topic I will test their understanding through some practice questions.
As I am passionate about theatre and performance I have a unique approach to teaching. I will include games and drama exercises to boost skills such as confidence, concentration, memory and focus. This has been proved to be a highly effective way to increase intellect and understanding of topics.
My teaching method is target driven, I approach my lessons by covering the basics then identifying any areas where the individual may need extra help and setting targets and activities around those areas to strengthen the individuals knowledge base.
Back to Basics. I believe that somewhere down the learning line that a link may have been missed and that by going back beyond their present ability builds confidence to approach the more difficult learning that they currently struggle with. This scaffolding approach has been tried, tested and proven to work.
I approach each of my lessons on English it can include different topics such as: -Poems -creative writing -reading -news report -speaking and listening -writing -grammar, punctuation -full stops -capital letters -moderation texts I can also, do different subjects such A: -maths -science -welsh -welsh baccalaureate -religious studies
