Please accept this information and my CV for your reference with regards to my teaching experience for a Primary or Secondary tutoring post at Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 – UK National Curriculum - PYP & MYP- CPP. I would also consider an applicable Secondary tutoring role relevant to my teaching experience – English and Humanities up to Key Stage 3.
I am a 30 year old male and a qualified teacher with over six years of diverse teaching experience. Having studied languages myself in an academic setting, I understand the individual needs of learning and the immense pleasure that can be drawn from studying languages. My lessons begin with a diagnostic approach and I then prepare classes and course for individual students or small groups.
My lessons are targeted towards young students seeking to improve their written and spoken communication skills, or improve the structure of essays. Example essays will be provided along with study support and engaging activities designed to improve understanding of essential skills.
I teach my students by giving them a variety of topics to write on and then proof reading them all and pointing out not only their mistakes but also telling improvement techniques so that they could do better the next time. Alongside, I work on the grammar and tenses; reading practices with tricks.
My teaching method is entirely based on the individual student. As no two students are alike I will adapt my teaching to that student. Some students prefer to listen and sit still, so those lessons will be teacher-based. Some prefer to be heard and move around, those lessons will be student-based. I believe in nurturing the strengths of a student first before tackling the weaknesses.
I aim to make each lesson engaging and exciting by providing students with a range of activities. I initially begin with a starter to inspire the student and to encourage their creative thinking in preparation for the lesson ahead. The final five minutes will be spent recapping on the lesson and noting any further concerns to address in the next session.
I have taught a range of ages of student, from primary school up to adults. My teaching method is to tailor the classes to suit each individual's needs.
The two teaching methods I use are the lecture and communication techniques. The lecture method, I would tell, explain, describe or relate whatever information the tutee requires to learn through listening and understanding. It is therefore teacher-centred.
My passion is helping children and adults achieve their potential and rediscover their love of learning. I specialise in finding creative ways to make learning interactive, rewarding and fun! I find that when learners are motivated through exciting activities and challenges, they can achieve more than they thought possible.
My teaching method is student led. I listen to what the student wants and needs from the session and help them develop tools to improve. Although I have given lectures, I prefer having dialogue with my students to improve their confidence, going through their work together.
I am able to teach years 3 through to 11, of any gender and background, and can also help more than one student at a time, however I like to limit my groups to sets of 3 so that each student is given adequate attention.
I aim to teach beginners, using my signature teaching method: weird hand-movements and funky dance moves until you understand the language perfectly! It works every time, and you also learn some new skills for Pictionary. I focus on teaching how to speak with confidence (even if you lack the skills at the beginning).
I pride myself in taking the time to get to know the students I am working with. I believe that mutual respect is paramount to a successful learning environment. With a passion for making all aspects of learning fun and real-life with confidence and self-belief at the fore-front.
I use a flexible teaching methodology and change the structure of my lessons based on student ability, knowledge and understanding. I focus on the requirements of the GCSE syllabus but I do this using stimuli that are relevant to the students' experiences, that they find interesting, and that they can engage with.
Experienced Oxford graduate who believes in tutoring with passion, empathy and kindness. I have eight years' full-time experience in the education and tutoring sector. I have tutored over 100 individual students aged 8-22 years old in this country and abroad as well as delivering interactive workshops to 2000 young people across the UK.
I base my teaching on books being read by students, plus grammatical and spellings aid. I also like to improve student vocabulary and write in a concise and fluent manner.
My teaching method is very simple. Each child is unique and so my method of teaching varies accordingly. I always encourage two way process where the child will always be given a chance to clear the doubts, given homeworks and conduct lots of discussion in order to understand if the child has understood properly.
I base my lesson structure on a persons needs and learning style. Offering written and oral examples of work as well as fun examples and tests to motivate and inspire. I like to plan each students tutoring experience differently based on their own needs and requirements.
Need some help with your English work? I base my classes on what my student wants to learn. I know how to get the best results by tailoring all classes to individual needs. My teaching methodology is simple: expect the best to achieve the best.
I enjoy one to one teaching and have helped students gain confidence and enthusiasm in English and Maths. I have worked with students learning English as a Second Lagauge and helped them to undertake ESL Courses. - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach across the Primary Curriculum including French.
I aim to make lessons as engaging as possible through the use of interactive games, physical activities, open discussion and ICT. I get very enthusiastic about teaching and I like my lessons to be high-energy too. I encourage my students to be as passionate about the subject as I am.
My approach is to show them it can be fun, and leads to a wonderful world that you can be anything and go anywhere .
As a teacher I bring enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication to my classes. When working with students my aim is to boost their confidence, and in turn their ability, through friendly, patient and creative tutoring, which the student finds both enjoyable and challenging.
I am calm, approachable and friendly, and I ensure that all resources are suitable for the student. My teaching has been graded as Outstanding, and I have lots of experience working with intervention with small groups. My results at GCSE level are excellent, with teaching that is tailored to the students’ needs.
I ensure my lessons are fun and enjoyable as well as informative and challenging. My lessons are tailored for each learner to ensure maximum progress.
I use a range of methods including task based lessons and PPP. I can tailor lessons to suit students needs and diagnostic testing. I can create lessons from set supporting material but I have created a great deal of my own lessons using materials that I have collected over the years.
The focus of my tuition sessions is always on the student: What are their needs and goals? What is the best way for us to achieve them? How can I craft an experience that they will enjoy whilst giving us the outcomes that we want? I believe that all teaching is a collaboration between both student and teacher.
I tutor online. I will offer to tutor to primary school students, KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. I am a big believer in embracing different learning styles. I am knowledgeable about the best ways to study for those that prefer auditory learning vs visual learning. I like to make the syllabus fun by engaging with it in a creative way.
I believe children to to be exposed to education that is meaningful to them and not just pen, paper and books. Children need to see how their education is relevant in their everyday lives. I strive to make my lessons fun and engaging, as well as challenging.
My preferred teaching method is using hands on, visual and fun activities to make learning enjoyable. I begin my lessons with a short starter, to gain an understanding of the child's previous knowledge and reinforce concepts from the previous lesson. This may include 'splatting' the correct number with fly swatters.
