The most effective teaching method I utilise is by first outlining what my student needs help on, then designing each lesson to suit their learning type. Following on from this, I then direct quizzes and assessments to monitor progress and learning.
I try to make learning fun and tailor it to the individuals tastes, there are different ways of learning and I utilise those various teaching techniques in order to assist in the tutoring sessions. That being said, the quality of teaching and the material being taught is not compromised by the more fun way of learning.
My teaching method is a controlled and organised approach to texts, focusing on verbal discussion and extraction of information, followed by precise short write-ups and summaries of texts. This will be followed by longer essay-style questions and mock examinations which will be marked in line with the mark-scheme and feedback will be distributed.
My qualifications: MA, BA Hons, PGCE, RSMA. Writing skills for students in schools, community, F.E and HE. Person-centered lessons, responding to your needs and identifying your aims and targets.

Given my recent degree achievement, I am more than capable (and confident) to tutor students up to the age of 18, however I have most experience with younger students (aged 9-14 years).
My teaching method is personalised to the needs of the individual, this means that no two sessions with different students will be the same. I will work with you to design a learning experience that works on specific targets to meet your goals.
I love to provide a type of knowledge that is going to be useful for students once they are in a real context.
My teaching method is completely unique. I ask the student how they learn best and I take it from there. This may consist of reading exercises, writing, exam practice, spelling and finding hidden meanings. You will learn a lot from me I can guarantee it.
My teaching methods are flexible and adapted to my students needs and interests. My aim is to build student's confidence to allow them to approach topics independently. As a tutor I am attentive my student's method of learning.
VARK questionnaire is how I start off, then I move on to how the student feels they learn best, pre assessments and activities to determine the learners knowledge in the subject. The learning style can change in due course. This can be done online, in person, at my home, or at a local library etc.
I'm a first class honours student offering tuition to primary level students, from 5 through to 11. I use motivating, engaging lessons which are adaptable to each child. From developing phonics stories for each students interest to creating physical activities to engage the most fidgety of learners.
My teaching method/s is classroom based with a bit of fun when needed. I will introduce the topic / title, then ask my students whether they are familiar with it, their thoughts as to what it may mean ,then I will clarify what it actually means and entail.
I offer lessons to students studying towards their GCSEs, AS and A Levels, and undergraduate degree level. I am an approachable and engaging tutor, focusing on adapting my teaching to the students' needs. I specifically like to use visual learning techniques to develop creative thought and engagement with work.
My teaching methods are fully tailored to the needs of my student. I assess the learning goals or targets for the student and through discussion with them plan and develop relevant resources that will help to scaffold focused activities to promote effective learning.
I take a student- Centred Approach to learning, where the children/child being tutored has an active role in the teaching process. Although I would still remain the main figure of authority, in a student-centred teaching approach, the student/students are just as much apart of the teaching process as I am.
I like to work with students to figure out what their strengths and weaknesses are and tailor lessons to their needs. My tutoring will be personalised as my goal is to ensure students get the help they require. All students are of different abilities and they can all improve in certain areas.
Dear students! I was an A level student just as yourselves, and I am open to giving lessons to anyone who is struggling with their A levels, regardless of where you are or think you are in your exam grades! My techniques in teaching, are short snap-revised video lessons or using pictures as well as in typing, depending on the subject topic at hand, in a cohesive, short and easy to understand...
Sessions are built around student's needs and learning styles, so they are delivered in a way that ideally matches them.
I am very fond of making learning fun! I try to incorporate many practical elements within sessions to make learning more fun and engaging for students! I believe that learning practically has a positive impact on students learning as children are more likely to remember and reflect on the session!
I am a primary school teacher, having taught all across ks2. I took the 11+ test myself as a child so have good experience of the expectations. I tailor my sessions towards each individual child based on what suits them best.
I completed my International Baccalaureate in 2017 and will be going to university in September to study literature. Focusing on more interactive lessons is important to me, because I know how hard it can be to concentrate.

Hello, I am a qualified, secondary school English teacher (BA(Hons) English, PGCE), offering one-to-one, in home tutoring. My name is Malaika and I am a 17 year old college student who is motivated to teach those in primary school, secondary school or those going through GCSE's how to do well in English language. I have different methods in teaching and believe that practice makes perfect.
I like to give sample essays and help people understand them, showing them how to reach that level. I start each topic by asking students what they know about it, and I progress from there. I like to give structures and easy ways to remember how to structure essays or remember the rules in the languages.
I offer a wide range of lessons including sessions for pupils that are struggling and need support. I am currently working with pupils on their reading, writing and maths. I love seeing children make progress and develop their confidence. My main hope is to create a love of learning so pupils can succeed and thrive at school.
My teaching method is very simple but at good quality, I prepare work accordingly to the child’s weaknesses and work on improving where necessary and I work accordingly to what schools expect of their students. I set homework weekly to identify where the student can do better and to see what their strongest links are.
I like everyone to enjoy the teaching process, it's easier to learn in that way. From children to adults, ensuring that the learning environment is one that allows the person to relax, yet maintain discipline, so there will always be common ground rules for working.
