My teaching method is quite flexible and will often depend on each individual student and their preferred learning styles. I base my lessons around the current curriculum - can be AQA/Edexel/OCR (for GCSE or A-level) or up to KS3 level. I tend to approach each topic in smaller sections and break core units etc. down into easier to absorb sub-units.
My teaching methods are setting specific learning goals and reading over the aims of the lesson. After, this carrying out a starter activity, a main activity and then a plenary is done. At the end of the lesson, I ensure everybody has learnt something new and that they have understood the lesson properly.
I like to make lessons as fun and as enjoyable as possible. I use props, and reward systems.
I am a very positive and encouraging teacher. I approach each lesson on the individual child's needs and confidence level to build their learning and understanding gradually.
I endeavour to teach each student according to their preferred learning style and encourage them to fulfill their maximum potential.
lesson structure depending on level of skill already acquired from basic pronunciation to advanced reading skills, sounds and basic understanding given
My teaching method is very thorough but most importantly focused on communication and identifying problems that are hard to comprehend and breaking down the barriers of understanding.
I have experience in and my main passion is in teaching early reading, writing and mathematics using fun games and activities to engage young learners into eager, independent learners
If there is any work which you need me to look over and proof read I can. If you need me to help with reading I can support as well.
My teaching method is ensuring that everyone understands everything at every stage of the topic.
I am able to teach up to degree level, but am happy to teach all ages. I am patient, but have a disciplined approach to teaching, with my main goal being to achieve visible results.
The best way to get students to learn and reach the goals they have set is to cater to their specific needs - besides this, there is no prescriptive method.
I base my classes on the individual, playing to the strengths and interests of the classic whilst trying to maintain a high level of professionalism with enjoyment, and an enthusiasm for learning.
I will pick books that are typical for a child of the pupils age group and ask them to attempt the text to see if they need something easier or more challenging. Once i find out I will find the necessary texts and read with them, I will make obvious mistakes as I am reading giving the child opportunities to correct me.
I have a degree in English Language and Literature and a PGCE in Secondary English teaching. I have taught from Year 6 to Year 13 and can cover the entire Language and Literature curriculum. Each of my sessions involve clear learning objectives and desired outcomes so you can chart your progress.
I base my classes using my own school books, textbooks, as well as my own knowledge and ideas. I also use online resources and collate all these resources to ensure the student achieves a high grade. I am able to teach using a range of different sources, for example, flashcards, mindmaps, and essays. I can adapt from each student and easily find out what revision material they learn from best.
I like to teach in a way most suited for the individual, whether that be teaching them a catchy song to remember what the fruits of the spirit are or whether that be sitting with the child and a whiteboard going through each challenge step by step. I think its extremely important for both the tutor and the student to know what level they are working at and what they need to do to improve.
My teaching methods range from group work to one to one. I go over topics through tests, games, activities and worksheets.
I base my lessons around the strengths and weaknesses of the person I tutor, this way they are able to fully improve on significant areas/topics.
Making sure the lessons and activities are accessible, fun, dynamic, multisensory and pitched at the appropriate level for the child to access, yet challenge themselves
My teaching method is by looking at each topic and assessing them one by one to help my students understand and learn that way
I firmly believe children learn when they’re immersed and engaged and having fun. I encourage children to recognise and celebrate their achievements and to use this as a foundation to the learning. Tutoring sessions can be one to one or in small groups. Workshops for parents are available.
I like to see what the students can do first and then adapt my methods according to their individual needs.
I enjoy helping people build their confidence by teaching them new skills. After assessing their current level, I will create a bespoke programme based on their likes and their ability level.
My teaching methodology is to go over what the student requires help in and create tailored programmes with ongoing support
I think it is important to know each individual and develop my teaching method dependent on how each individual learns best.
Methodology conforms to each student, as my belief is that everyone has his/her own way of approaching the process of studying
I have a kind, caring and patient approach to teaching and I believe that every child has their own learning styles that a teacher must understand to help them achieve their full potential. I strive to bring out the best in every child and I encourage them to aim high. I love the learning journey and I enjoy the challenges I share with my pupils.
