I design all of my teaching resources in line with the topic and curriculum being studied and to meet each individual students needs and learning preferences. I use both online and textbook resources including written and visual aids to contribute to each topic setting homework weekly and assessments termly for students to track their progression.
I have taught a mix of primary and secondary school pupils and they have come up from C's to A's. First session will mostly be introductory, closing looking at the task in hand or goal waiting to be achieved. Every plan is personalised to the student and their ability.
I am a qualified SENCO with experience of teaching in mainstream schools and specialist schools. - Which subject(s) do you teach? - English Key 2, 3 and 4 - Functional Skills English - Literacy support - Social skills/self-esteem. - Personal development. - Emotional literacy using a range of resources - Transitional support for pupils/parents moving from primary to secondary school.
I will be giving lessons to primary and secondary students. I am flexible with what my students want me to teach. I will focus on the areas in which they are weak while enhancing what they are already familiar with.
My teachings methodology is really personal to the student, but I like to make it as engaging and interesting as possible because as long as the student is enjoying what they’re doing, it’s very rarely seen as a chore.
Due to studying English language at A-level I am familiar with how people learn to read because of this knowledge I am able to adapt my method of teaching to the particular person to achieve the best outcomes
I can help strengthen skills such as reading, literacy, grammar, handwriting, comprehension, essay writing and maths skills. Younger children are ideal, 7+ or 11+ level, however I can also cater for older or younger children too (about 4-14 age range). I am able to adapt to many different learning styles in order to suit the student.
Over the years, I was taught that if you do well in school then you will have the best chance to get a good job and earn a substantial amount of money. This is partially true. However, how many A's you achieve in school, does not necessarily equate to the amount of money you make in the future.
I feel confident tutoring all abilities from primary school to degree level. For me, it is important that the student looks forward to our sessions and feels engaged. I do this by ensuring a variety of learning techniques are used and a comfortable atmosphere is created where the occasional joke is appreciated.
My teaching method is delivering materials through power point slides then discussion or questions and answers session.
My teaching is primarily student - centred. Rather than 'lecturing', I aim to elicit the maximum possible feedback from my student(s). I always review taught material, again, in a student - centred fashion.
My teaching methodology is to allow the student to explore topics they like, while teaching them special skills to help them improve their own learning. I try not to make lessons too serious, as I find being fun is much more effective.
Tests and examinations are, of course, important but good preparation does not lie simply in working test papers. Such an approach will not uncover the cause of a pupil's difficulties. My approach is to try to identify what the child has not grasped, teach it and provide practise before requiring the pupil to finally work through test papers.
My teaching method is personalised to the needs of the individual, this means that no two sessions with different students will be the same. I will work with you to design a learning experience that works on specific targets to meet your goals.
My teaching method is quite hands on whilst allowing my pupils to think for themselves. I approach each topic by easing my pupils in by using examples and allowing them to try things for themselves whilst guiding them through it. I track progress by revisiting topics we have looked at in the previous session and testing them on these topics after each session.
I love to provide a type of knowledge that is going to be useful for students once they are in a real context.
My teaching method is finding out what the student is well at and also what they struggle with. I then help them improve on the parts they struggle with so they feel more confident in all areas of the topic.
I give lessons to students taking their GCSEs or A Levels. I encourage different methods of revision, and incorporate progress checks into my lessons over time to see an improvement. As someone who has experienced these courses and received the highest grades, I can confidently say that I can give the best advice and help.
I like to teach interactively allowing students to have fun whilst learning as all students learn best when they enjoy what they are doing. I'm comfortable on an individual level and also in a group. I believe in learning from mistakes and allowing people to make mistakes is the best way to succeed.
Depending on the individual my teaching method changes, but I take a very hands on and fun approach as I believe the more you do something the better you will become especially if you are enjoying it and actually interested
The best way to teach and learn is to understand in your own individual way and to think in a way you understand. My method is to approach each student differently and to learn the best technique for them.
I am an ACCA affiliate and M.com with 3 years of teaching experience at home. I have taught more than 25 students. I start each lecture with a story that helps student to develop an interest in the topic. further more i involve students in lecture by constantly asking question. i helps them to listen attentively and remember things easily.
I first and foremost look at the curriculum the student is studying. Then discuss (with parents also) their goals and what they wish to achieve or gain from tuition. It is important to adapt to the students style of learning; and make sure they find the task at hand exciting. I try to make all my lessons fun; as a bored student will never put in 100% effort.
My teaching method is using visuals and writing, with practical repetition to engage. Use of methods which adhere to ‘teaching is the best way to learn’, thereby using student engagement to reinforce knowledge.
I adapt the lessons and topics according to the students' needs. I encourage students to be confident and expressive. I will always make lesson plans and long-term goals for students' progress but I will also try to make the classes fun and spontaneous. I can also teach mindfulness to those students who find studying/exams stressful.
I'm here to show you various ways to understand math and you have to choose the best method which works out best for you. In my opinion there is no preferred method or approach.
I am a very patient tutor, as I currently work in a retail setting I am exposed to people of varying ages and walks of life. This experience allows me now to be able to adapt my communication style to each individual. So whether you are still in school or more mature, I am confident we will work well together.
My teaching method is based on identifying the weakest areas and creating a solid understanding of these before building on knowledge and most importantly skills of the designated subject. I would use methods to test understanding after the things I have covered.
I to I teaching to meet the individual needs of my pupils. Lessons adjusted and reviewed weekly to ensure progress. Fun approach to motivate and engage reluctant learners. Detailed feedback given to parents. Homework can be provided if requested.
My teaching methodology is constructive to gain the best results from students, allowing both their ability and passion to grow. The most essential way to achieve and understand English is to enjoy it at the same time! My main teaching focus is English Literature however I am also happy to tutor English Language.
