I understand that everyone learns differently, coming from a corporate background, I know how to adjust to any skill level and communication style to teach others appropriately. I want to get to know you, what helps you, and utilize that so we can work together to ensure you are successful in your endeavours.
Most of my lessons have been to high school students, though I have met with college students as well. Generally, I ask the student what they want to achieve through our lessons and if they have specific goals in mind. From there, I gauge the kind of student they are and adjust my methods according to their needs. So far this methodology has worked out well for both my students and me.
My teaching methodology is to engage students through the use of multi-sensory activities and lessons. Every student is an individual that has specific goals and needs, and the use of differentiation of instruction can help to meet the unique needs of each student.
By spring of 2019, I will have a Bachelor's degree and be certified to teach anywhere from K-8. I have also worked with students younger than kindergarten while at a daycare. I base my lessons off of the needs of the students. This depends on whether the tutoring needs to be aimed towards spelling, writing, editing, reading, etcetera as these each require different structure.
I give lessons to high school students. I approach each lesson first learning a bit about the student-- their experiences and passions provide an insight to me as to how they view the world, which is vital when it comes to the interpretation of literature or writing essays.
Hello, my name is Ms. Wilson and I am currently available for tutoring sessions with primary school age children. I prefer to design a lesson plan that is individual to the student’s needs. We can begin instruction by reading aloud and see where we need to go from there.
My method of teaching is a combination of interactive and instructional methods. Also giving practice after each lesson and surprise assessments to gauge the understanding of the learner.
I have a Master's degree from Northwestern State University in Gifted English and believe that all children are gifted. We have to meet the children where they are and bring them forward to where they need to be. It doesn't matter where they start, it only matters that they finish successfully.
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame. Eventually I let the student work through an entire problem on their own.

Since I am an internal processor I like to give my students the space and time needed to fully grasp concepts and understand the material at hand. I am very patient, and I flexibly adapt to different learning styles. First, I start the session asking the student what they know so far. Then I ask what materials they have been provided to aid in their understanding. Then we go from there.
My teaching methods vary depending on the students individual learning style and needs. My curriculum is different for each student. Each student is different and each student has different needs and goals. I get to know each student individually before I teach them.
Each individual has something to offer. I believe in fostering the already existing skills of my students to better fit their unique needs. I am able to adjust to the learning style of a student. I am firm yet understanding. Learning should be an enjoyable experience not a chore. Students should walk away with new knowldege and a desire for growth.
