Firstly and most importantly I would say that I am a very approachable teacher and I will always try and make my lessons fun. I think structure is important for a good learning environment, but there is no substitute for enjoyment - in my opinion it's the only way you ever truly get to grips with a subject. So this element of enthusiasm comes across in my teaching.
I understand that every student is different and has their own unique learning style, therefore I tailor all of my classes accordingly to allow every student to access the lesson. I use a very methodical and patient approach which has proven very successful over the years.
The teaching method I use is discussion methods, where I will explain then start a discussion on the topic to get information and make sure everything is clearly understood. Also brainstorming ideas and get a representation of what is understood before going on to teach. If reaching a group, give them some time to discuss ideas.
I will discuss this in the first half-hour session with the student to gage what their needs are. This can be done via phone, skype, or email. I can provide comments for improvement, proofread for spelling, grammar, and semantic mistakes, and encourage the student to approach their writing in a more appropriate manner.
Teaching methods can vary from student to student, as each child learns and understands things differently. But I feel as though the best way to check a child's understanding of something, is to have them explain it back to you. I am very friendly and a good communicator, but I will assure that the children remain concentrated and focused at the task at hand.
I plan enjoyable and engaging lessons in maths, English and other primary subjects and use different teaching approaches to suit a variety of learning styles.
I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible so as to engage the learner. As I get to know a student, I can q quickly assess the gaps in their learning, and tailor my lessons to address them.
I base my sessions on the individual needs of each student but aim to provide a mixture of activities to limit boredom and to build a variety of skills.
I like to get to know the individual and take it from there. I think learning should be engaging and fun and tailored to the needs of the learner.
Every student has different learning methods, and I try to accommodate all needs. However, distributive practise (studying little and often in order to retain information) and practise tests are compulsory, as these are the most effective proven study methods.
I teach Key Stage 3, and GCSE students, between the ages of 11 to 16. I teach according to the wishes of the students. I follow the revision guides, and go through the topics in which the students are struggling with. Nearer to the exams we go through past papers so the students are familiar with exams.
I give lessons to students taking their GCSEs or A Levels. I encourage different methods of revision, and incorporate progress checks into my lessons over time to see an improvement. As someone who has experienced these courses and received the highest grades, I can confidently say that I can give the best advice and help.
Attending a Kumon class is very different to attending a traditional 'school type' class as each student is working on something different, tailored to their individual needs.
I perfer to teach in a fun way that keeps the student focused and engaged in learning. I like to organise my lessons in a constructive way. I do not like to move on to the next step until I am adamant that the student understands the topic. I relate well to children and am good at motivating and encouraging to build high self esteem.
I am happy to teach students of all ages and levels, and base my methodology on the student themselves and their own skill-set. I first like to get an idea of the student's abilities, and create a lesson plan from there, as lessons must be individual.

I construct lessons to the individual students needs. Generally sticking to a PPP approach but also am able to use alternative and less intimidating methods to gauge a student's interest of English Literature. This includes games, activities, and discussion. Furthermore, i give a wide variety of revision methods which allow the student to continue learning in their own time.
