Hi ! I give lessons since 3 years, I taught saxophone to 3 peoples during 2 years for the first one and 1 year for the second one. If you are a learner I will teach the basics with few notions of solfege (it's important). If you still have a good level, we will listened a lot of songs, isolate some parts and worked on this pieces in aim to understand how it work.
I usually teach 50 minutes long lessons. That is enough time to do a proper warm up, work on some exercises, look at some new material and most import and play some real music. I like doing duos or accompany on the piano if possible. I usually bring classical music as well as jazz, pop or folk music to the lessons but I´m generally very open to the student’s musical preferences.
