Industrial design engineer based in Bridgend. I offer spanish native lessons to whom it may concern, no matters which age you are or which level of spanish you have.
Relaxed yet thorough teaching style. I can offer support for GCSE or intermediate level Spanish students, including help with grammar, written expression, and conversation practice (useful phrases, slang, and colloquial expressions covered!) I am also a strong supporter of using language games to practice vocabulary and get pupils out of their comfort zone. I am a British native.
I love languages and the opportunities they have given me to travel and communicate with new people. I am patient, hard-working and friendly. I would be happy to support children and parents in learning basic language skills, students studying at GCSE or A level, or adults wishing to develop their language skills for work or pleasure.
My teaching method is to bring topics to students and discuss about real and current issues.
My classes will be different depending on the person that I am teaching to. I will try to focus his interests to the context of the classes. With the aim to create more interesting classes to each person. But without losing the learning purpose.
I base my classes on linguistic and cultural immersion, using the target language as much as possible and supporting my explanations with examples. I use official DELE exercises and texts in order to provide an accurate grammar basis so that my students get the proper vocabulary according to each language level.
Hola! My name is Laura de Armas and I am currently a student in Cardiff. I was born and raised in Spain by Spanish parents. I am looking to spread my knowledge about my beloved first language to those who are willing to learn it from the beginning or to improve their already gained knowledge. My job involves helping kids, teens or adults to communicate and understand the Spanish language.
I focus on the 4 skills (speaking, reading, listening and writing) and adapt them to the student's goal and needs. We try to have very dynamics and motivating lessons. If the student has enough time, we can have weekly homeworks which help to consolidate what we've been studying.
I am a Spanish viola and violin teacher based in London, - Which subject(s) do you teach? Viola, Violin, Chamber Music, Spanish - Tell me about your qualifications.
I'm a qualified teacher and I always have a chat about what are the goals of my students. Children, Spanish for fun, for School, High School, Business or University I would adapt my lessons to your needs. I like to explain the culture while learning the language, I think it's important.
My teaching method depends of my students. I can prepare dynamic lessons including games and videos if my students prefer this was. The first day of class we would talk about the methodology and we would decide together what way is best.
I have experience teaching children and adults, both in schools and in private lessons. I offer classes for students of any level, always with a focus on the objectives of the student. I have experience preparing students for official exams.
I'm a third year student at Cardiff University. I'm 20 years old- I still remember and school tests and being told to memorise useless vocabulary lists- so in my teaching, I try to emphasise every-day scenarios so the student can communicate the concepts and ideas confidently rather than rote-learning things you can't apply.
I can teach French, German and Spanish from beginner level onwards to any age students and aim to achieve conversational standards as quickly as possible by emphasising the similarities of English and French/German/Spanish. Once a student becomes comfortable with the subject at hand and their preferred learning methods, I hope they will be able to progress further independently in the future.
My teaching method is taking all the theorical part into the practice by writing, listening and speaking exercises. Very dynamic.
My teaching method approaches grammar, reading and also conversation. It is important to go through all these so that the student will go more confident on the lessons each day.
Reflection on practice and reflection in practice.
To make the classes interesting! As I know not everyone likes to learn, but as long as you have me to teach you will be fine
I am very considerate to the needs of all types of learners, and I strive to adapt lessons to suit each student’s abilities, personalities and learning styles by applying different teaching methods as appropriate.
I base my classes primarily around the needs of the student and I will provide resources such as creative PowerPoints and worksheets to help with development of ideas and to help ones understanding of a topic/issue. I will also make use of online resources such as quizlet and others to further enhance the learning of vocabulary.
I can guarantee satisfaction from GCSE level Spanish and below. My main goal is to not only tutor the student the curriculum but also to inspire passion and interest in the subject for them to want to study independently which ensures excellent grades.
