I have just returned to the UK after living in Barcelona for five months teaching in a primary school. I have four years' experience in teaching Spanish to children between the ages of 8 and 18.

When I teach Spanish, I like to make sure certain basics (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar) are understood by learners as soon as possible, in what we might call an academic approach.
