- If I had to choose one particular method, I could not choose any. My goal is to choose the methods that best fit to my students, not to force my students to adhere to any limiting methodology. - Personally, I really enjoy to teach languages through the music, it is a useful tool for language learning. Language and music are kindred spirits.
I have a Master's degree in Philosophy and experience teaching Social Sciences in Spain and Italy. I have the QTS from UK and I have been teaching Spanish for 3 years in primary and secondary. Since last year I am teaching GCSE and A level Spanish. I am also a tutor and an examiner of DELE by the Instituto Cervantes. I adapt my lessons to student's needs.
I help people of all ages and abilities learn Spanish, English and other languages for exams, holidays or business. Learning another language is such a worthwhile thing to do and can open up many doors. I find my work enjoyable and very rewarding.
I am from originally from Venezuela and can teach basic to advanced level Spanish to all age groups. The courses I teach are split into three levels, basic, intermediate and advanced. Each level is around 50 hours in duration, and split into 5 units.
I base my teaching method upon the needs of the individual or the group, basing the lessons of the topics of the syllabus mixed with current affairs, which I believe creates interest and engagement in lessons as well as allowing expansion of vocabulary and greater understanding of syntax and idiomatic phrases.
I organise my lesson based on what the student wants completely, I tend to try and do each lesson so it links with the last and each topic logically follows on from the one before.
my teaching method is based on the needs of the student, from comprehension to oral and written expression, learned in a simple and understandable way.
