My teaching methology is to teach you and make you understand the topics not memorising in order to nail the exam!
¡Hola a todos! Are you looking for a fun way to learn Spanish from a fully qualified teacher in modern languages? My lessons are creative and dynamic, encouraging conversation and increasing confidence through sound grammatical and vocabulary acquisition.
My teaching method would vary depending on the student's level in the subject. I would focus on the weaker areas of the student's Spanish and try to improve these. Grammar and vocabulary would be what i would focus on teaching as other aspects of the language come easier once these basics are understood.
I will at first speak to you to see what your needs are, then we will try different methods and I will see if you are more a dynamic or visual person, according to that I can personalise each class for you to learn in the best way. In every class we will learn and practice grammar, listening, and speaking. In each class we will set a goal and try to reach it at the end of the class.
Lessons are structured based on students' needs; whether you're looking to learn phrases for a trip or trying to find new solutions to learn complex grammar, the lesson plan will be structured according to an initial consultation. I believe in being adaptive to students - there is no one right way of learning a language, so my lessons are tailored to each individual tutee.
My classes are dynamic and personalized. I like to approach the topic based on the needs of the student. I have previous experience teaching all levels, including A-level and GCSE. I also have experience teaching adults and begginers. Classes can be face to face or online.
I adapt my lessons to the objectives and needs of my students. Some may want to study Spanish for their holidays so we focused on practical Spanish and oral abilities, others may want it for an exam so I follow a different methodology. That's why my approach may differ signifificantly from one student to another. I always try to encourage my students and give them confidence.
I try to keep my classes fun and relaxed whilst still focusing on grammar and achieving an interesting vocabulary! With GCSE/ A level students I am aware of the exam technique expected of you, so therefore I aim to incorporate this in the classes!
My name is Marcos Mendez. I am a 28 years old native Spanish teacher, qualified to teach in Spain and with the Qualified Teacher Status to teach in the UK too (QTS: 1669999). Currently an undergraduate student with previous work expereicne at GCSE level in a secondary school. My lessons would benefit students who are looking to prepare for their speaking exams.
I worked as a teacher for two years and I volunteered in the educational area for two years: one in Romania and one in Spain. Now, I'm doing my Master's in the UK, and I'm excited to teach and show people my teaching qualities. I love and miss doing that.
My teaching methodology is determined by the learning required by the learner but in all cases, I always aim to break things down in to short, simple part in order to reinforce learning from beginners to experts. I use an array of online and paper based resources.
I teach my students the language using daily life examples so they can see it is useful. I also focus more on the communicative skills so they can be able to speak the language. I like to use games, songs or films in my lessons.
My teaching techniques vary in function of the students' needs and I try to use Spanish as much as possible in my classes. The grammar is an important aspect of the language, I think the best way to interiorize it is to understand it, practice with exercises and start to introduce it into our conversation.
I am in my final year of an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages at Newcastle University. I am offering tuition for students up to the age of 16, in particular with help at or approaching GCSE level. My teaching can be flexible depending on what the student needs, I can tailor my teaching to you! Essentially I can offer support in writing, reading and speaking.
I always adapt my teaching methodology to the student. Lesson structure and content will change according to the needs of the student. There are just two things I always try to maintain: at least 15 minutes of free conversation (no book, no rules, just speak about whatever you find interesting) and homework for the next session.
