As a native speaker I will teach a proper Spanish way to speak. Lessons will be adaptable trying to make them according to the level and interests of the student. For beginners we'll start with common expressions and simple vocabulary and some bits of basic pronunciation. Students with a higher level can ask for thematic lessons and advanced grammar.
I adapt myself to the students needs. Usually, to make it more productive, I try to focus the content of the classes on the areas that most need to be improved. I can make theoretical or practical classes. Normally the student need a balance of both. I always try to create a friendly atmosphere, but I also can be serious if necessary. I am very patience.
My teaching method for Spanish is to engage with the material. When learning new languages, it is especially important to be able to practice the material in and outside of the classroom so listening to Spanish music or TV shows will help in the learning experience. Memorizing grammar tables is part of it but also speaking and writing and listening to the language are essential to learn it.
I always follow bibliography to my lessons: the structure and the progression designed for some editorial are very interesting to follow. This is because this kind of bibliography starts with elementary resources to fix a proper base, and it is increasing the difficulty gradually.
Hi everyone, I am Carmen. I am a Spanish native speaker from Huelva, a southwest city in Spain. I offer Spanish lessons for all levels. I ran a Spanish course for beginners in the Bath College for over ten weeks last winter. I graduated in Teaching English from the University of Bath last year and since then I have been teaching English and Spanish.
My teaching method is tailored to the needs and interests of the individual student and lessons can be adapted to focus on diverse topics covering the four essential skills of speaking, listening, writing and reading comprehension.
My methodology is mixed, we will work on improving grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking through cases, videos, articles of interest, roleplay, online applications. It is about making it fun, simple and applied to the personal and working life of each student, so that learning can be fast and fun. For both courses the student must be at an intermediate level in General English.
My teaching method begins with the understanding of the needs of each student and their interest so that we can work on these things during class, generating interest and a pleasant time for learning. I like to give the lesson and then propose some practical exercises to control how the learning experience is going.
The methodology that I use in my workshops is very dynamic and flexible. I like to start with the practice and from there go to the theory. One of the best ways to learn is by doing, for this I use the game and the interaction with the everyday, that is, with the things you do every day, the places you move around, etc.
My lessons have different stages: lead-in, while, and post. I try to use many techniques to enhance my students' language skills. I always come up with cultural notes and humour to draw the learners' attention into the topic of discussion.
My teaching method is based on the 4 skills of reading writing listening and speaking. Lots of variety and different activities. I use media and engaging material, interactive activities and diverse methods of teaching. I have a Spanish degree and the Certificate of Education teaching qualification. I can help with preparing for exams GCSE, A'levels and Degree level.
I teach Maths and Sciences at various levels. I coach my 16 year old daughter for her GCSE exams. I coach also my Graduate colleagues in Master level materials. I teach Maths and Sciences to Undergraduate students. A class would be structured as an initial theoretical section then exercises and problems solutions.
Mi método de enseñanza es hablar con el alumno sobre diferentes temas todo el tiempo en el que dura la clase y corregirle tanto la pronunciación como en la conjungación de verbos así como enseñanadole nuevo vocabulario y expresiones con lo que mejorará rápidamente
I preferably teach young children as I said before from ages 5-8 because for me it is easier to interact and I have more techniques to make a child learn Spanish than I do for an adult. Depending on what the goal is I use different material and methodology.

Hi there! My name is Javier, I am a 19-year-old Aeronautical Engineering student at Imperial College (London) (and open uni Philosophy student). Rather than describing geeky stuff about my undergrad or saying how passionate I am about my studies. Instead I would rather explain my vision of teaching and how that can benefit my students.
I am a Year 12 IB student who was born in Bangladesh but was raised in Spain. I lived in Spain for 11 years and attended both, primary and secondary school in the country. Hence, I speak Spanish fluently. I arrived to the UK nearly 3 years ago and sat my GCSEs, obtaining 10 A* to B/grade 6) results, with A* in Spanish and Grade 9 in English Literature.
My lessons are structured according to students needs. Each lesson has learning outcomes which achievements are constantly checked. The students can see their progress during the session and decide to come back to any stage or go forward according to their goal. the lessons are dynamic, fun and participatory.
I consider myself a very enthusiastic person and I adapt my teaching method to every student. I like my classes to be creative, stimulating and dynamic. My aim is to make my students engage at all times and that is why I try to choose topics that interest them and that they can relate to.
They key to learn a language is to learn how to communicate (that is what languages are used for). So communication is both my method and my goal as a teacher.
My method is to provide 1 on 1 tutoring sessions for beginners up to intermediate Spanish students at all ages.
I hold the Certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults GCSLTA by Instituto Cervantes in London, the official Spanish Language and Cultural centre. I am graduated in Tourism by Deusto University in Spain. Languages go hand in hand with the culture of the place. Learning is a beautiful concept as everyone is unique in their own way.
I believe that every person learns differently, I don't like to limit myself to one technique. Everyone has their own way of learning so I like to first get to know the student to I can evaluate how they learn and help them the best way I see fit.
You've probably tasted tapas and heard some flamenco, but sure you like to know more about our culture. Anyway I can adapt the lessons to your interests in the basic level up to the intermediate level (A1-B2). I like to organize the one-hour classes divided as follows: 25 minutes for grammar and answer questions, 15 minutes of vocabulary and 20 minutes of conversation.
I can help with any homework or specific grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation aspects of the language you need extra time with! My lessons would be very student-oriented; I would find out their needs in terms of their problem areas and organise lessons tailored to them and the materials/resources they have.
I aim to make tutorials engaging and fun by tailoring the sessions to the pupil’s interests and including a variety of activities. I break tasks down into manageable chunks and encourage pupils to think for themselves and be independent learners.
I try to addapt every single lesson to my students' needs and interestings, preparing a variety of materials and activities (including games, songs...). I try to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible so that my studnets could get into language learning and feel comfortable and confident on it.
I am able to practice speaking, writing and reading Spanish with beginners, pre/current GCSE or A-Level students. I can help with the understanding of grammar, with the use of textbooks and videos.
I have an Advanced Teaching Diploma and managed a Practical Class of biologists for three years. I discoverd that ones own passion is what make a Student engage in learning, and for languages, 50% is about passion for the language and the culture. Making the learning experience fun and discovering all the culture behind it is a priority.
I like to understand where the students have gaps in their knowledge in order to approach their doubts in the best way.
