I like to adapt my methodology to the requirements of my students, I do not believe in one single successful methodology, therefor I will directly ask the student which they think is the best way to learn, or perhaps simply if they learn more by writing, listening, speaking or reading and adapt the lessons in their advantage, however this does not mean that that will be the only one used.
My teaching method is mainly based on the communicative approach mixed with active learning, by building the student self-confidence and raise the interest in the cultural aspects. I believe all learners can speak a foreign language by being consistent and enthusiast.
During my lessons, I like to use a learner-centered approach where I can let students understand and infer the meaning of words and grammar through observing and using different examples. My lessons are always based around conversation and I like to use speaking games and activities such as boardgames and role plays to practice grammar and vocabulary.
I always try to combine grammar and exercises with something more entertaining such as videos, pictures etc. I just want to make sure students learn about culture, traditions and history as much as grammar and vocabulary.
My teaching approach varies according to the needs of the student; yet, all lessons are student-centred and engaging! I use authentic material such as songs, movies and different text genres in the language.
Having graduated with a 2.1 in French and Spanish, I can confidently teach up to degree level. I like to mix my lessons up between Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking activities. I find that this way the lessons are varied and really help to improve in the language.
I try to follow well-established syllabi to cover as much ground as possible, with regular check ups every step of the way to make sure that we're making good progress. It also helps immensely to include all four skills and a good bit of fun whenever possible.
I teach Photoshop, Photography, InDesign, Illustrator, Social Media, Spanish and Chess to professional, art students or amateurs people who would like to improve their work and portfolio or enjoy their hobby. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Use of Photoshop, working by layers, digital cameras, composition, exposure, shooting, lighting, file formats.
I am willing to give classes to anyone with any level - from students to those learning for fun! I aim to provide dynamic lessons which would be adapted to fit the student's way of learning (kinetic, visual, auditory, or reading/writing).
My teaching method is highly personalised to work closely with the tutee in order to best achieve what they hope to get out of the teaching session. I aim to always maintain a focus throughout on a real interest in the language and culture that's being taught in order to foster a real level of engagement with the language.
I believe that teaching and learning a new language must be fun, so I would engage with lots of interactive material together with fun facts, easy tips and cultural references, giving examples such as songs, movies, TV shows...
Personally, I am a visual and practical learner therefore I try and teach my students the same way I would like to be taught. I find interactive classes are more stimulating than standard read and remember methods, and therefore integrate as many interactive methods as I can in my classes.
Whatever stage you are at with learning Spanish, I want to find out how you like to learn and work with you on creating a fun environment for you.
I believe in learning through the mistakes as a methodology, so a big part of my lessons is normally a reciproque outcome. That is why I like to immerse my students in the language by sharing the lead of the lesson and encourage them to speak as much as they can until they feel confident with themselves constantly making mistakes as a part of the learning process.

The students can see their progress during the session and decide to come back to any stage or go forward according to their goal. the lessons are dynamic, fun and participatory.
I consider myself a very enthusiastic person and I adapt my teaching method to every student. I like my classes to be creative, stimulating and dynamic. My aim is to make my students engage at all times and that is why I try to choose topics that interest them and that they can relate to.
They key to learn a language is to learn how to communicate (that is what languages are used for). So communication is both my method and my goal as a teacher.
My method is to provide 1 on 1 tutoring sessions for beginners up to intermediate Spanish students at all ages.
I hold the Certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults GCSLTA by Instituto Cervantes in London, the official Spanish Language and Cultural centre. I am graduated in Tourism by Deusto University in Spain. Languages go hand in hand with the culture of the place. Learning is a beautiful concept as everyone is unique in their own way.
You've probably tasted tapas and heard some flamenco, but sure you like to know more about our culture. Anyway I can adapt the lessons to your interests in the basic level up to the intermediate level (A1-B2). I like to organize the one-hour classes divided as follows: 25 minutes for grammar and answer questions, 15 minutes of vocabulary and 20 minutes of conversation.
I can help with any homework or specific grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation aspects of the language you need extra time with! My lessons would be very student-oriented; I would find out their needs in terms of their problem areas and organise lessons tailored to them and the materials/resources they have.
I try to addapt every single lesson to my students' needs and interestings, preparing a variety of materials and activities (including games, songs...). I try to make my lessons as enjoyable as possible so that my studnets could get into language learning and feel comfortable and confident on it.
I am able to practice speaking, writing and reading Spanish with beginners, pre/current GCSE or A-Level students. I can help with the understanding of grammar, with the use of textbooks and videos.
I have an Advanced Teaching Diploma and managed a Practical Class of biologists for three years. I discoverd that ones own passion is what make a Student engage in learning, and for languages, 50% is about passion for the language and the culture. Making the learning experience fun and discovering all the culture behind it is a priority.
I like to understand where the students have gaps in their knowledge in order to approach their doubts in the best way.
I combine different teaching styles to always make a lesson interesting and tailored to the individual or class need. I will always listen to the preferences of my students and adapt lessons accordingly.
I base my lessons depending on how much the student knows. I will approche the knowledge required to the level by theory with some exercises for writing and listening, and for speaking (with special emphasis on pronunciation) we will do speaking activities and games which are going to be useful to leran new vocabulary.
For it to be fun and accessible for people of any age or level to develop or improve their language skill. As a teacher my teaching strategy is to make activities tailored to my students interests for the students to be approachable and feel comfortable and confident to study.
I teach Spanish based on the idea that we learn by association and repetition. My classes are mostly conversational. I encourage the student to learn grammar and to do written and listening activities at home that then we can practice during our sessions. I also use listening and reading resources that enhance their knowledge of the Hispanic and Latin American culture while they learn the language.
