I use a lot of the mathematical skills learned in both GCSE and A level as part of my Actuarial Degree so I am fresh on all relevant topics. My lessons will be as interactive as possible as I am a firm believer in the need to engage properly with a topic to properly understand and memorise it. I offer help with both particular questions or help on particular topics.
I am currently in a sixth form, studying maths, further maths and English, in addition to this I am doing the EPQ. I hope to be in a good university studying maths following my A levels. I can teach from the start up until AS level, as I am currently doing that course.
My approach is simple but deep to the subjects with more real-world examples and exercises.
I provide lessons to pupils in primary and secondary school. The lesson structure is adapted to the pupil and suits their style of learning. The lessons will be engaging and friendly, consisting of not only learning the tricky topics but extra questions to secure understanding as well.
Currently I am offering classes to students from my home in Middleton, Milton Keynes. I invite students for 30 minutes classes which comprise of a mix of theory and practice test. I will be recommending a practice book to students and this can be supplemented with home assignments and home tests to increase effectiveness of the time spend.
Teaching is my passion. I enjoy working with students to improve their confidence and consequently their ability to do maths. Any level and any ability is covered. Every lesson is unique and geared for the individual needs and learning preferences of each student. I have a proven record of helping my students to be successful in national examinations and achieve above their predicted grades.
I'm a maths student between A-Levels and University. I will be doing a Master's degree in mathematics. In mathematics I achieved A* at GCSE, two As in maths and further maths AS and I am predicted two A*s for maths and further maths A-Level. I usually teach a topic by separating it into clear and separate subtopics.
My teaching methods include the use of repetition using different examples and looking at questions from different angles so my students are confident with any questions that come up during their examinations.
My teaching method will be one on one focusing in the main areas you want to improve, not only providing theoretical knowledge, but also practical for better understanding of the subject. I am based in Cranfield, but I can travel to Milton Keynes, Bedford or surrounding areas.
Are you trying to increase your grade? Do you want to achieve more? I can help anyone whether they are struggling or whether they want to get the highest grade they can. My teaching is student-centred and based around the mastery model. I teach using methods that suit each individual's learning style - from games, quizes and investigations to drills and exercises.
Success in maths does not come merely by repetition and memorising. I personalise my teaching to match the learning style of each student and try to make maths fun, or at least pain-free! - Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach Maths from GCSE up to A level, including further maths, mechanics, statistics and decision maths modules.
I believe in focusing on each students specific needs, and offering each individual lesson as a bespoke tailored service. I not only offer students the highest quality of tuition but I also offer them the teaching of understanding concepts behind the learning material so that they can grasp the material in full, enhancing their learning ability, to ensure a 100% success rate.
I am a secondary school maths teacher with 4 years teaching experience. In addition to this I have been providing private maths tuition to many for 5 years with great success. After assessing each student I will work with them to ensure they reach their full potential.
I can give lessons to anyone under the age of 18, I believe practice in questions and repitition is essential in learning Maths but engaging the student with quizes and fun excersises nearer the end of the session is better way to keep the student focused and engaged.
I am very adaptable, catering to the students style, I like to base my lessons around exam questions to teach students as these give the students an idea of what the exam will be like.
I have done masters in business and BSC in maths and statistics . I have been teaching for around a year mostly Gcse Before that have done FSC in maths English physics and chemistry And senior Cambridge from Cambridge board I have been teaching male and females maths algebra and statistics and that have really helped them.
I prefer to instill confidence and a positive attitude in my students to ensure that they achieve their learning and progress through their own hard work and dedication, and I provide an environment suitable for them to achieve this by giving guidance and instruction where necessary.
Hi I'm Ayesha, a current A-Level student of Mathematics. I have gone through all the stages of maths, starting right from the beginning down to A-Levels and intend to continue. I have learnt what techniques children need to understand Maths and become as passionate as me about it, since I myself have once been very confused with the whole concept.
My method of teaching will include first providing the theory on the topic, showing different approaches to questions, working on examples with the student, providing questions for the student to work through on their own and showing exam style questions at the end of the lesson
I'm not only a math enthusiast, I'm also very keen when it comes to learning especially if there's a new method. I specialise in taking all those complicated number and signs and putting them into a perspective you would most likely understand.
I have been tutor since September 2015, went through GCSE past papers many times with several students in one to one sessions, tens of students of primary school (preparing for 11+ and boosting sessions). I delivered about 600 hours experience.
I start off by running an assessment to identify any weakspots/gaps in learning and then target these areas. I mainly teach using exam papers as these prepare students for the actual exam better than any other learning materials.
My teaching method is quite simple. I try to understand where my student is struggling and help them to understand the topic or course from its foundation in a simpler and more clearer manner. My lesson structure begins with checking homework and helping with homework. Then using revision guides and personal knowledge to teach topics to my students.
I prefer teaching from the very core of the subject and just not what is asked for in the syllabus. I choose to introduce the origination every concept or idea because that is how I was taught and I find myself capable of remembering everything word-to-word till today.
I base my teaching around the individual, meaning I take into considerations the strengths and weakness of a student. Once the strengths and weaknesses have been identified I work systematically using a wide range resources to target areas of difficulty, accumulating information and knowledge which help the student to answer exam questions, complete coursework or carry out practical assessments.
I take A-level maths, physics and Music Technology. I am available to teach to GCSE level or below. I am also at grade 8 standard on piano and am willing to teach beginners. I am a sergeant in the army cadets and have been on many leadership and teaching courses. I aim to make every lesson informative but fun and interesting, using the structures I have been taught on courses.
I schedule my classes according to the topics. I try to cover one topic per class for in depth knowledge of the subject. In my opinion, quality matters over quantity. I take the pace of the learner and understand the weak points so that I can work upon them effectively.
I prefer teaching through examples, simply barking out theorems and complex mathematics is very difficult to absorb and in most cases is very ineffective. I prefer introducing a new concept alongside a number of slowly worked through examples that clearly outline the different applications also how to tackle different styles of questions that include use of the concept.
