How I teach is dependant on the student and their needs; Sometimes past papers are best to identify weaker areas and get a general feel of how the student needs help whereas other times certain topics needs in depth explanations!
My teaching method stems from using written example questions (maths) and preparing content based on my clients needs (chemistry and biology). This can include marking past papers and identifying where any weaknesses lie, and using diagrams to explain topics that clients may struggle with.
I am an international student who has a dual nationality as a Bolivian and Japanese. I give lessons to students in primary and secondary schools. My teaching philosophy is that anyone can learn anything. However, if students are struggling with learning new topics and subjects it is seldom the case that the concept has been presented to them in a poor manner. From my past teaching history, I have developed skills where I will help students to introduce the same concepts in a simple story-like, easy to grasp manner.

I give one-to- one classes or online classes as well to GCSE students.I have different teaching techniques. I use practise books, previous exam papers and different apps to teach. I also explain the easy approaching methods which helps the students to remember.
I encourage problem-based learning, where a subject is approached through solving various open-ended questions with an aim of cultivating scientific thinking, logic, and further complex problem solving skills. In this approach I promote active learning via student-to-teacher and student-to-student interaction.

For more content-based subjects - such as biology and chemistry - I read the specification to gauge what the exam board is putting the most emphasis on. In addition to this, I use the specification to determine what potential questions could be asked, such as longer-answer questions (6 or 10 marker questions).
