I try to make each lesson unique to the student as no two students have the same needs. This all depends on their ability level and confidence in each topic. I try to start with the basics in each lesson and work my way to the harder questions through the lesson.
Hi! Welcome to my page! I can tutor Maths Up to GCSE level! I have a firm but fair approach to tutoring, meaning I want the best possible result for you, and I won't let you slack! I am fun, and can make tutoring sessions enjoyable and easily accessible , meaning everybody has a chance to learn!!
I approach each topic by working from more basic problems to more advanced. I like to include a practical element to every lesson where possible. I encourage students to think about each topic in the bigger context to ensure full understanding of the topic.
I currently teach up to GCSE in a school, and also give private tuition up to GCSE. I enjoy making difficult concepts accessible to pupils who find them challenging. I give clear explanations, breaking things down into simple steps. Lots of practice follows until the pupil is confident and then I introduce more problem-solving type questions, such as the kind that might appear in an exam.
I want to help children of Primary school and Secondary school age in Maths and Statistics. I want each child to feel like they can come to me with an issue that they may have in the subject and we can work together patiently to try to resolve it and help their personal understanding.
I can help with students up to degree level, therefore including, GCSE's and A-levels. As some specifications can be different through different schools, I prefer to find out from students what particular aspects of their course they struggle with or would like to go over and focus on those modules.

Hi! I am a 20 year old student studying Dentistry at the University of Liverpool. I have 3 A's at A level in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics with Statistics, and an A at AS level in Physics. I achieved 8 A*'S and 3 A's at GCSE. I have the ability to tutor secondary school and A level students in Maths and Science, with a focus on Biology and Chemistry.
I like to be an open and supportive tutor so that you feel confident to ask questions and take things back to basics before attempting the more challenging problem solving questions. My lessons are interactive and enjoyable with the main focus being depth of learning.
During any session I will identify the problems the student currently has and find relevant questions (past paper or otherwise) to help explain, and eventually, overcome the problem. I primarily will use questions and past papers but am open to any techniques the student believes may be helpful.
I believe in making the student feel comfortable, make a social connection and in return the volume and quality of work will increase. Lessons will have a stricture in place that benefits those who work hard while developing a relationship with the tutor based on mutual respect.
Adaptability (flexibility, adjustability, versatility, re-evaluate the student’s objectives as they progress) Energy (motivation, enthusiasm, interpersonal skills) Openness (accessibility, availability, involvement, empathy) Humility (respect, discernment, acceptance) I give students individualised attention that they don't get in a crowded classroom.
I have just finished my Mathematics degree having received a first overall. I am dedicated to helping you achieve above and beyond. I have taught many different ages ranging from 6 to 40 with 1 years experience in tutoring Mathematics.
I teach by first explaining a problem which connects to real world scenarios for better understanding. In this way students can connect the theoretical knowledge to real world problems. I also guide the students to solve exercises instead of giving away the answers.
My teaching method is based on visual learning as this is how I learn best. I use the aid of powerpoints to teach and regularly assess progress. I teach in a highly organised fashion with a timeline so students can see their progression and feel confident when it comes to assessments.

I prefer to ease a student in when teaching them a new topic. When I am going through questions, I like to teach it step by step so the student can get there head around the topic, then let them have a go at solving similar questions and I will help them if they get stuck.
I'm straightforward, Direct and Straight to the point and will make sure you are fully satisfied and comprehending the subject in the least amount of hours possible, I do Not Stall for money and my aim is for you to fully comprehend and that is my passion and motivation.
Generally, I will ask students to come to class with a specific topic they'd like to cover in the tutorial, or alternatively, I will go through practice questions with students to help with knowledge and exam technique.
My aim is to convey the concept through examples and problems. Students will be encouraged to learn the main idea of the lesson by solving questions. This would increase the creativity of the learner and at the same time gives a hands-on experience on how things work in the particular area of the lesson.
My teaching would be for anywhere up to GCSE level and in these I would present lessons similar to what would be given in a classroom however with a more one-to-one approach. I would also ask the student to bring any topics they are struggling with so I can prepare a more in depth and easier to understand way of learning it.
