My teaching methods account for all types of learner's. I follow a progressive structure throughout the lesson but constantly consider learners requirements are met. Children usually need a mix of fun and learning to achieve objectives. Adults enjoy an informal but more technical approach. If not instructed otherwise, i tend to focus the lesson on a different theme to the previous.

I follow the National Teaching Levels which includes Ducklings all the way up to stage 10. I am a passionate teacher and love to see all my students succeed. I have patience which is important as all individuals learn to swim at different rates.
My technique is clear and slow, with patience, happy to respond to any questions.
My teaching method is practical, visual and auditory. I find it is the best way to learn so I will set practical tasks to ensure you full understand.
So i start with a introduction this may be introduction new children then a warm up of toys or what we have previously learnt then the core a new stroke or technique and then a fun thing at the end
I feel very strongly about people of all ages learning to swim as it is a life skill that everybody needs. Even from online I can demonstrate, describe and explain why and how the body moves threw the water.
I am a STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher who has been teaching swimming for 5 years with pupils age 3 to 80 of all ability types. Flexible lesson times and plans to suit your or your child's needs. I focus on making swimming enjoyable and fun so the swimmer can relax and learn to swim in a non-pressurised environment.
I have coached the past two years on a range of age groups - 11 year old to 17 year olds. I base my sessions and lessons around the ability of the pupils in the water.
My teaching method is to break things down to basics then use 5ose basic key words as prompts for wider details
I will see the level of skill and ability then set/plan the class/lesson from there . . . . .
My lessons for beginners usually contain breathing while encouraging to put their face under water, with legs kicking and gradually introducing arms movements and techniques needed for the 4 swimming styles (freestyle, backstroke, breakstroke, butterfly stroke). I am planning specific training sessions for each one of you depending on your needs and previous experience.
I encourage children to reach their highest potential, not just to swim, through a growth in confidence and technique! My lessons usually contain improving kicking, encouraging putting their face under the water, gradually introducing arm movements and then breathing, once the child is confident swimming and is having fun!
My teaching methodology is based on the age of the students so i can teach children who are as young as three years old and all the way up to adults. I also base my teaching on how well my students can swim.
I can provide lessons from Stage 1 of the Learn to Swim Programme all the way to adult lessons looking for stroke improvement. My main priority is safety and then easing any anxiety and fear in the water.
I can help achieve your goals and to feel comfortable in the water. Im very proactive and always keen to learn something new from salsa to snowboarding and therefore understanding the learning curve and input needed when learning new skills. "Swimming is not just about learning technique, it's about building a relationship with the water".
My teaching method simply depends on my students preferences and what they would like to learn (basic techniques, learn a short routine, improving on already learned skills...).I am very flexible when it comes to methodology and like to switch up my teaching to meet the needs of my swimmer.
Hi all! Im professional swimmer for more than 15 years experience. I have BA degree for swimming coach and I work with pupils early age 4 to adults who want to learn how to swim.
Hello everyone, I am Alfredo, a professional worker involved in Clinical Research for a Pharmaceutical Company. I have been swim Teacher/coach for 10 years, with experience accross Italy and UK (London) with kids and adults, 1 to 1 lessons.
I am a very experienced swimming coach with experience teaching all levels. I have taught across the UK and Middle East. My teaching style is to get the student to feel comfortable and then to push to get the best out of them.
Using my hands to guide you in the pool, I will help you to learn to do less, to let go and enjoy the support of water instead of struggling against it. I am a very patient teacher. For me the most important thing is that you feel comfortable just being in the water and breathing freely. There is no hurry to learn strokes.
I am a Qualified swimming teacher with experience teaching babies, young children, teenagers and adults of all abilities. I believe that it is important for everyone to learn to swim, and that no matter what age you start to learn you can do it! I have a passion for teaching and am hoping to go on to become a primary school teacher after I finished my BA at Cardiff University.
An understanding of children's feelings and emotions a very important to being an excellent swim teacher. To be able to respond to their needs individually. I have an HNC in Early Years Education and Child Care. I have worked as a Au Pair, Nursery Nurse, Special Needs.
Depending on your experience, I like to focus on technique and building endurance first, then working on increasing speed, individual stroke work, and starts and turns work.
My teaching method varies from pupil to pupil and class to class. I believe everyone have different methods of learning, therefore teachers should apply different methods of teaching.
Unlike other swimming teachers, I believe the most important way to ensure a great foundation to build upon is by stressing the importance of technique from a young age. I see swim teachers teach kids four times a week (this is because I am a qualified lifeguard) and there is a limited improvement due to the lack of care for their students.
I worked in Italy, Rome, in different sport centres and on private yachts. Teaching: I trained children, young people and adults. Also I had classes of babies (0-2 years old) in order to make them familiarize with water from the real beginning of their life. This makes them perfectly comfortable to start, later in the years, the swimming lessons without fear and with strong breathing capacities.
swimming teacher available for 1 to 1 or group lessons level 2 qualified for 20 years looking to improve stroke technique or beginner i can help. currently looking for my own pool to start up my swim school.
Since moving to Scotland, I have noticed that there is a lack of experience and knowledge in the sport- mainly due to it being uncommon in many schools.
I generally teach 20/30 minute lessons with feedback at the end. Depending on the ability and age of the swimmer I can both teach in the water and instruct from the side. I focus on making the lessons enjoyable and building both confidence in the water and a love for the sport.
