Since moving to Scotland, I have noticed that there is a lack of experience and knowledge in the sport- mainly due to it being uncommon in many schools.
My lessons for beginners usually contain breathing while encouraging to put their face under water, with legs kicking and gradually introducing arms movements and techniques needed for the 4 swimming styles (freestyle, backstroke, breakstroke, butterfly stroke). I am planning specific training sessions for each one of you depending on your needs and previous experience.
Able to teach anyone and pretty much anything. Abilities range from babies to over 80's, specialise in disabilities and rehabilitation. Cover pool safety and first aid. Teach beginners, intermediate, competitive and open water. 10years of experience all over the world.
My teaching in swimming consists of select courses to suit the needs of the individual, by that being improving speed to compete at high levels to improving technique of certain or all strokes.
I approach each lesson on an individual basis. When I begin teaching a new class/swimmer, I use the first few sessions to asses and evaluate the swimmer. I will then Create a programme based on their individual needs.
I am a previous competitive swimmer who is happy to teach others how to both learn to swim or for those more experienced, to help improve the technique and help progress your swimming. My lessons are sure to be enjoyable and efficient.
I usually teach groups of children at once, at the company at which I work for. I would like to start teaching one to one lessons so I can speed up the children’s swimming ability and I can really focus on what the children need to do to help them improve and perfect their skills and strokes on a private basis.
My lessons are 30 minutes one to one in the water. I find being in the water to show demonstrations and to assist manually when learning are really beneficial to the swimmer. Everyone is unique and will learn at different speeds which is another benefit to one to one tuition. During a lesson we will cover aquatic and safety skills such as floating, rotation, water confidence and swimming strokes.

As a former swimming I understand the four strokes perfectly, I can teach any level of swimmer, from beginner to advanced.
I believe in building the pupils confidence by making the lessons fun and focusing on personal servival skills fist.once trust has been established between the pupil and the teacher the learning progression period is quicker and easier.
I approach every lesson differently and get a sound knowledge of who I am teaching or coaching to improve them and enhance them on to the next level
I learn from you first, then teach to your abilities and strengths. I will also provide you with the knowledge to feel confident.
I work on building confidence in the water through creative excersises. I base my lesson plan on the swimmers’ needs to ensure maximum progression.
My classes are structured. I like to make them fun but follow rules.
Showing what you should do and help you with your body balance, doing practice often and you will be learned how to swim.
Hi I am Arabella and I am a swimming tutor. My lessons will be 20 minits long we will have lesions on Monday Wednesday Friday and Sunday if you can not do a day then tell me in the lesson before and we can sort it out for you.
My teaching methods account for all types of learner's. I follow a progressive structure throughout the lesson but constantly consider learners requirements are met. Children usually need a mix of fun and learning to achieve objectives. Adults enjoy an informal but more technical approach. If not instructed otherwise, i tend to focus the lesson on a different theme to the previous.
I like to teach through all mediums to use all types of stimuli- visual, auditory and physical. Clear demonstrations and practice to reinforce knowldege. Lessons should be fun and attainable.
My teaching method is flexibility with student and adding some fun during the sessions. Im very serious person as a tutor but my classes are always fun and my students always tell me how they enjoyed it. the session structure is based on my students.
Everyone is different and people will get something different from swimming - you need to think differently, you cant get in a teaching rut.
My teaching methods allows students to understand and progress rapidly, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe within the water. Every stroke is broken down, allowing my students to become the best swimmer they can be.
My teaching method is easy, quick And effective with key fundamentals, high level knowledge and overall experience that I believe will strengthen confidence for the first time swimmer or competitor.
My teaching method is to bring my love and passion for the sport into it and pass it on to the children! I enjoy seeing the younger generation, learn and develop new skills within the pool whilst having loads of fun too! My students are always learning but also are ALWAYS laughing and enjoying their swimming lessons!
Approach is very different from convention. Fear of water is got rid off. Doesn't matter young or old.
I will see the level of skill and ability then set/plan the class/lesson from there . . . . .
