My teaching methodology is based on the age of the students so i can teach children who are as young as three years old and all the way up to adults. I also base my teaching on how well my students can swim.
My teaching method can either be out on poolside or in the water teaching, i base my classes on technique and speed but like to have a bit of fun aswell
I base my classes on building a trust with the children and making the lessons fun and enjoyable, so they enjoy swimming and build up their confidence
I am able to teach all levels, from the first time being in a swimming pool, to a competitive swimmer wanting some individual advise on technique. I can either work to the Swim England learn to swim pathway with badges and certificates or on what an individual would like to learn as being in the water is all about enjoying yourself.
I'm a level one swim teacher, a trained life guard and a competitive swimmer for ulster who has been swimming competitively for 9 years. I adapt my training programme to suit the client and provide my clients with the tools to succeed and help them every step of the way.

Hello everyone, I am Alfredo, a professional worker involved in Clinical Research for a Pharmaceutical Company. I have been swim Teacher/coach for 10 years, with experience accross Italy and UK (London) with kids and adults, 1 to 1 lessons.
I generally teach 20/30 minute lessons with feedback at the end. Depending on the ability and age of the swimmer I can both teach in the water and instruct from the side. I focus on making the lessons enjoyable and building both confidence in the water and a love for the sport.
Unlike other swimming teachers, I believe the most important way to ensure a great foundation to build upon is by stressing the importance of technique from a young age. I see swim teachers teach kids four times a week (this is because I am a qualified lifeguard) and there is a limited improvement due to the lack of care for their students.
I am a young enthusiastic teacher with a passion to pass on my love for the water. My aim is to ensure all my students are confident and comfortable in the water as once that base is there the rest will follow. I have taught children from as young as 2 to as old as 87 so I am confident that no matter what age or ability I will be able to cater to your needs.
My method to teaching is simple, go through each challenge at a time continuously supporting my client. Always demonstrating and being hands on in the water if you need a little more support. If my client starts to get frustrated with their self for whatever reason I attempt to make them realize that Rome wasn't built in one day! Take a breath, lets start it again.. slowly! Patients is key.

As a previous squad swimmer and an avid Water Polo player, I am relativey adept in the water. I give lessons from those with little to no experience up to those who are confident, but would like to improve their technique/time, whatever age.
I have been swimming competitivly and casual all my life and have been coaching and teaching swimming for the past five years. I am very flexible when it comes to methodology and like to switch up my teaching to meet the needs of my swimmer. During a session I like to have my swimmer give me a goal they would like to reach by the end and we will build to meet that goal.
I am restless in my quest to develop effective teaching methods to create an optimal learning environment. I am adaptable in my approach to enable students to become the very best they can be. I believe in the concept of a growth mindset and the notion that all students can be successful under the right conditions.
After leaving competitive swimming to concentrate on my A-Levels I decided to become a swimming instructor and teach my passion to others.
