I've always been a fan of learning new languages by combining both theory and practice. My teaching method consists of learning the basics of grammar and vocabulary, which are then used to build the students' speaking, listening and writing skills through discussions, role-playing exercises and audiovisual materials.
I am an 18 year old A-Level student studying Spanish, English Literature and Politics, hoping to study Spanish at degree level. I would love to give lessons to secondary school pupils up to AS Level standard, using primarily oral, and comprehension to teach language and focus on structure whilst teaching literature.
I designe the classes acording to your ability and needs. We will go at your own pace. This may entail invigorating your vocabulary, speaking or written skills. I also like to introduce games in the classes to make them more motivating.
I am very patient and aim to make the lessons fun and enjoyable. You will not only learn the language and grammar, but also get to practice orally, which is fundamental in the learning of any language. I don't only tutor children; I am more than happy to help mature learners and I understand the difficulties of learning a new language at an older age.
I personally think a translation methodology is one of the best ways of learning a language, since I've realized that once you're older than five-seven years old the immersion method doesn't really work anymore. Nevertheless, I like to adapt to my students, finding the method that works better with each of them.
I am a fluent Spanish speaker, with a strong background in Spanish culture, supported by my studies and qualifications I have obtained over the years. I teach all ages, from beginners to advanced, both young and old, including GCSE and A-Level level Spanish. I am also great with younger children and have good experience and rapport with them.
I am a graduate Spanish teacher. I have worked as a private teacher since 2010 either teaching Spanish and giving general academic support to students from different levels (from primary school to university). I have also had professional experience supporting children with specials needs in their studies.
My teaching method is based in speaking.
I can help you to improve your proficiency in talking, listening, reading and writing. I provide lessons that are tailored to your individual needs to help you reach your potential. My calm manner, positive approach and confidence allows me to engage with, and to develop a positive rapport with students and to make learning an enjoyable experience.

My teaching style is based on the methodology recognised through formal qualifications such as the Certificate in Education and Training, formal observations and practical teacher training. My aim as a teacher is always to incite interest and curiosity which makes the learning experience a better one for my students.
I am a geologist who wants to teach Spanish by using the language, sharing opinions about Worldnews trying to focus the attention on the topic instead of the grammar. Be able to communicate more or less fluent is the goal of my students.
My teaching method consist on first to evaluate the knowledge of the student , then made a schedule of the necessary the lessons with the right material and a proyect of the time necessary for the student to achieve they maximun potential and reforce they wikness.
I build the lessons around songs. This way, students are immediately immersed in vocabulary, culture, natural pronunciation and expression, and learn about a place and people in a fresh and exciting way. I've combined 15+ years as a language teacher, musician and intercultural trainer to create the best language lessons I could create.
Hola! I am a native English student living abroad but looking to tutor to help people study Spanish for their holidays, children's lessons, GCSE'S, A-Levels and degrees. I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Business (Hons).
I am a native Spanish speaker from the Canary Islands, a region that combines Spanish accent and expressions from South America as well as the mainland of Spain. With a depth understanding and knowledge of the language, I can help with any area, including grammar, speaking, listening and reading or even all of these combined if you are preparing an specific level exam.
Spanish is a language subject, the key is in how dynamic the lesson is. There is need of visual and audio stimulus, constantly speaking and training the tongue to learn how to correctly pronounce the words. Spanish is a "Romance language" which means it has a strong Latin-based vocabulary, full of accents and vivid intonations.
I base each lesson on each skill required at gcse and in life including speaking skills, listening skills, reading skills and writing skills, always focusing on oracy and confidence in the language. I like to include some games in my lessons such as translation races, dictionary races, beat the teacher, splat etc.
I teach with a sense of fun and with great patience. Until my student/s are comfortable with a class we do not move on. I build into sentences that make sense so that my student has a sense of achievement in a very short time. I also like to record their voice so that they grasp a good accent right from the beginning. I have 20 years experience with all ages and levels.
I am a Spanish citizen studying at Uni in Brighton. I have been teaching students from Primary to A-levels during College time, this is because I am a native spanish speaker and attended extra curriculum activities after school to learn about how to make teaching fun and efficient.
eaching a language is also teaching a culture. So I think that watching films in Spanish really helps in the learning process. Of course, if a student is only interested in learning vocabulary and verbs I can change my teaching method without a problem.
I’m here to help you accomplish your goals through dynamic and engaging classes, not only aimed at improving your grammar, listening and fluency, but also encouraging you to immerse yourself into the Spanish/Latin American culture. When you’re able to do this, you can really start to enjoy the experience and therefore speed up the learning process.
My main passion is learning languages and I have had 2 years of experience in teaching Spanish, English, Portuguese and Russian to both children and adults. I have travelled for most my life and have lived in the UK, Spain, Uzbekistan and Brazil, therefore I have had the opportunity to fully immerse myself in the culture and language of each country.
I focus on natural learning techniques. I strongly believe that learning how to write in a language is detrimental to the student. I focus on learning like babies learn how to speak for the first time. With image associations and complete language immersion.
My methodology is mixed, we will work on improving grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking through cases, videos, articles of interest, roleplay, online applications. It is about making it fun, simple and applied to the personal and working life of each student, so that learning can be fast and fun. For both courses the student must be at an intermediate level in General English.
My teaching method begins with the understanding of the needs of each student and their interest so that we can work on these things during class, generating interest and a pleasant time for learning. I like to give the lesson and then propose some practical exercises to control how the learning experience is going.
My lessons have different stages: lead-in, while, and post. I try to use many techniques to enhance my students' language skills. I always come up with cultural notes and humour to draw the learners' attention into the topic of discussion.
First, I prepare and deliver guided learning: producing appropriate schemes of work/lesson plans; promoting the effective use of individual learning plans and use technology to improve outcomes for students. Second, Challenge thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.
What are you going to do? First day: level test. Every week: test (to ensure your development) Boring things: grammar, vocabulary... The best: funny games (review exercises) The worst: I only answer in Spanish, could you manage it? 1-1, 2-1, Groups The better way to learn is with a friend or individually.
My teaching methodology is very dynamic. I try to use games, songs, interesting news. I use games where the students use the grammar, speaking, writing and listening. Students will always finish the class with new vocabulary, expressions...
