Traditional and digital. tailored to my student's strongest learning style. I enjoy mixing both traditional and perhaps more innovative method in order to get a good balance. My student's level and goal help me find the right balance for improved outcomes.
Which subject(s) do you teach? I have extensive experience of working with school students and adults with English as a Second Language, developing speaking, writing, listening and reading skills. I teach English up to GCSE level, and students with Special Educational Needs, including those with a Statement.
I'm a person who loves to share the English language with others, especially if it can help others express their ideas, thoughts and passions as they pursue their goals. I'm happy to work with individuals from 12 years of age and up. I am able to tailor lessons to the learner's style so that the time we spend can be used to focus on English and achieving your goals.
Newly qualified and passionate about the English language, my aims as a teacher are to help students with their progression and learning with activities personalised to your needs and abilities, whether you're learning English for school, work or simply for fun!
I focus on what you don't know and build up from there. In my book, there is never an unteachable student, only an unteachable teacher. After an initial discussion by skype or phone, I work out a lesson plan and time period to suit you. At the end of lessons, I ask you to reflect on what you have learned. This is for me. I need to know that I have done my job correctly.
I strongly believe that the most effective learning takes place if the student is interested, motivated and primarily is enjoying the lesson. I always aim to create positive and easy going environment for the student, but at the same time I motivate the student to work hard and think for him/herself. I will show you the way, but you have to walk it yourself.
I teach English using a range of techniques which I tailor to the client's needs. This includes using phonetics, word repetition and conducting conversations at the end of each lesson that draw upon the focuses of that particular class. I also am happy to read and correct written English, but I'm sure to explain why I have made my corrections as I go.
In my teaching, I will, first of all, assess the needs of my student before I plan my lessons. I then set targets for each lesson that would enable the students to achieve a long-term objective. I provide relevant materials for an engaged learning and assess the student's learning to ensure my students achieved the lesson objectives.
I base my lessons in a communicative approach. This means that eveything the student learn can be potentially used in real life. That is why the lessons, examples and exercises are contextualized or target the purposeness of the learner.
I am a masters student at Nottingham Trent University with a solid passion for writing. I do academic and content writing for a few companies and I strongly believe that I can help you strengthen your vocabulary and ace your IELTS.

All ages and abilities welcome, i have experience teaching all needs and English levels. Tailor made sessions delivered to suit your needs! I am a strong believer in an adaptive teaching style to meet the needs of individual students.
I believe that a genuine interest in course content is the way to attain the highest grades. My own enjoyment of my studies allowed me to attain 297/300 in my Psychology A-Level and 295/300 in my Politics A-Level, and I always work to foster a real connection between students and what they are learning. My approach is also underpinned by the student’s need for clarity.
I teach the way a student learns - once I have helped you to discover or develop that ability. I teach for results not qualifications. If there is no value to you in the subject, there is no point it forcing you to learn it. The ability to spell for example is no longer required, but the skill of knowing you have spelt the word you intended to use most certainly is.
Each student is an individual with their own special requirements, and I tailor lessons to address the task in hand. My teaching is carried out with understanding. I aim to give pupils the confidence and the skills to go forward with their learning. I tutor in various subject areas according to your needs. If you feel I can help you, please do contact me.
I have both a Bachelors and a Post Graduate Degree in Sociology and Communications, and have obtained my TESOL Certificate to teach English. For optimal learning, I apply real life scenarios into my immersive English lessons using the Direct Method.
Starting from grammar lessons to put them in practise then. Using different kind of methods of learning not only book and reading, also practising in real life.
I teach across all levels, from Entry 1 to Level 2. I am good at motivating students and encourage self-directed learning between the lessons. At the lesson I use a variety of methods. We work on grammar, extending of vocabulary, listening comprehension, oral expression and writing. I pay a particular attention to pronunciation.
I am flexible and willing to provide whatever support and help you may need. I can work with individuals as well as with small and larger groups, and have experience with both.
When it comes to teaching, I like to see the ability of success in my students using one way or another, even if they can't. I like to incorporate technology into my lessons as long as it is beneficial for my students and makes learning fun.
I base my teaching methods on discovering what makes the individual work best, I will spend time working with the student to find their teaching method that fits them. Once I have identified how the student works best I will knowledge to better the learning experience of the student.
I find that what works best is to individualize lessons as having a teaching style only restricts me, rather adapting to the student's learning style is what I find most important. Some of my students previously learned best from conversation-focused learning, while others learned better from a standardized and planned approach with clear-cut lessons.
I will quickly establish your individual needs and tailor my lessons accordingly. We will discuss various topics, relevant to your requirements, as well as current news stories, which will enable you to improve your vocabulary and grammar week by week. You will gain confidence as you increase in knowledge and understanding. My lessons will be interesting and informative.
I build the lessons around songs. No two students are the same! I don't have a generic lesson plan that I use. Since this type of tutoring is not really for any type of specific course, we will more than likely have conversations where we occasionally pause to talk about English phonetics.
